CDM Ashphalt was awesome to work with. Max, Nick and the entire crew are very professional. I did my homework & called every ashpalt paving contractor on Yelp to get estimates. CDM almost didn't get the job as they were last to show up but that's because these guys are always busy doing work. Our driveway is 400 feet long 10 feet wide on a steep slope and had loose recycled gravel already on it that was almost impossible to drive upon. Max came to estimate the jobsite and provided a fair competitive price with 0% upfront and full payment upon completion and satisfaction of all work. Max actually knew my Father-in-law who was familiar with his previous work and why he got the contract. Max was as eager to get started as I was and we scheduled a time the following week. These guys started on a Thursday and finished the job the very next day. CDM Asphalt brought in all of their own equipment. Max was amazing to watch on the Bobcat and graded the bumpy landscape very well. Nick and Brandon were really informative about teaching me the asphalt process. They took their time with the compacting roller and compacted the tons of recycled baserock that was trucked in throughly. Aftewards they laid down the black asphalt on their gigantic asphalt paver which is 3 inches thick and provides lots of traction for our vehicles going up and down the slope. Afteward the crew cleaned up went on their way. They left some of their rakes and a few empty water bottles but no big deal as the asphalt work was a job well done. Nobody is perfect as there were a few small issues that came up at the jobsite but Max was very fair about extending the asphalt about 50 more feet. All in all we were very satisfied with the job that CDM Asphalt provided and would recommend them to any homeowner that wants to improve their residence. read more

CDM did a reseal on our lot yesterday and it looks awesome! It was really rough in some spots and they went above and beyond our expectations. Max , the owner, is great to work with. I started down the road of researching a replacement driveway. We were long overdue for this home repair project but it always got pushed down to the bottom of the list. I called around to a few companies that had been personally recommended to me and then did a quick Yelp search. Her is where I found Max and CDM Asphalt. He was so receptive to my inquiry for an estimate. He gave me a ballpark figure over the phone then came out later that day to survey the site. He had a written estimate out to me the next day. We were able to agree on a fair price and he was able to start the project the next week. Day of installation. Crew arrived early and started demolishing the existing asphalt driveway. It was great to watch Max and his crew work as a team. They cranked out the removal and started on the new base and asphalt. I can't believe how quickly it went. It was aesthetically to look at as well as structurally solid. I did have a slight problem with our garage door closing properly. One call to Max had a crew out the next day to heat up the asphalt and create a recess for the door to sit. The team even helped me adjust the lasers which were causing the door not to shut. Update: Max called immediately after I posted review. He came out the next day to look at driveway. He agreed that it shouldn't be cracking and said he would take corrective action. Delay has been on my part as my house was selling. He plans to complete the work next week. I will update again when it is done. He has been very cooperative and willing to correct problems. Company came back last week (again delay was due to sale of house). They refilled cracks and resealed the driveway. Basically did the job twice. Brandon and his crew did a great job sealing my asphalt driveway. They helped move a heavy basketball hoop and several other items off the driveway before cleaning it. They also took the extra effort to keep the sealer off the brick walkway that borders one side of the driveway and off the 150 foot long wooden retaining wall and that runs along the entire length of the driveway. Old weed-choked gravel, cracks, sloping etc. CDM's website said no job too big or small, so I decided to give them a call after another asphalt company didn't bother returning my call. CDM recently slurry sealed my driveway. I had several significant cracks and they told me the seal would settle into the cracks as it dried so I shouldn't expect the driveway to be smooth in those areas. It settled more than I expected and I called to ask them to come back and look at it. Branden promptly brought his crew back and put another coat on all the crack even though they had warned me about the settling before they started.
