This place made me love going to the dentist and I can't wait for future appointments! From the moment I walked in Martha was so helpful at the front and answered any questions I had, Sandra helped me get relaxed before my procedure and literally held my hand the whole way. I had horrible experiences with other dentist but this one is by far has the best people working there. Dr. Kang makes sure you are feeling comfortable the whole way through your procedure and she even gives you a personal call the next day to make sure everything is healing well. If you fear the dentist I can guarantee this place will change that. They exceed all expectations and they make everyone that walks through their doors a priority. read more

"Going to the dentist" is not necessarily something a lot of people look forward to. But the staff here are so kind, friendly and helpful, they take away any fears one could have about having someone dig into their mouth. I couldn't recommend them more. Quick and painless. And you can watch any show or movie you'd like on Netflix while you're there! I discovered a new show to binge during a cleaning. Bonus! read more

I have had my fair share of dental issues and seen many different people but this office is BY FAR the greatest dental office to go to! Dr. Trihn is the best dentist I've ever been to and I'm 52yrs old. The office is clean and he seems to have the latest equipment and technology. He has a great staff to back him. X-rays are done directly to the computer and as I understand it are much less radiation than the old film method. Prices are reasonable and though I thought the cleaning was a little pricey, after they did the cleaning I was amazed at the amount of work that was done, the thoroughness and the attention to detail. Well worth it! I had a lot of work done and am extremely happy with it together with a fair and reasonable price. The office worked seamlessly with the insurance company and financing. Thank you CDIC Dental!!!!!!! read more

I have been a patient of CDIC for the last couple years and am 100% satisfied. The entire staff is incredibly accommodating and pleasant. The aftercare is on point and they have demonsrtated sincere concern for my welll-being with each visit. Since I have been a patient of theirs, I actually enjoy going to the dentist. Thank you CDIC team for making my experience comfortable, quick, and overall pleasant. From begging to end, everything went smoothly. Veronica helped me with my paperwork then took digital X-rays on me, with such ease and efficiency. Then she took me to a room where Dr. Kang did a thorough exam and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. They did my cleaning and then Sandra polished my teeth very gently and took impressions without making me gag. On my way out, Martha scheduled my next appointment quickly, as I had already told her my availability. Thank you CDIC! read more

All I can say is WOW!! I had the best experience here at CDIC. Over the years I hated going to the dentist due to past experiences. It always made me nervous just thinking about it but but everyone at CDIC-Brea made me feel so instantly comfortable. Sandra and Dr. Nguyen where the best! Dr. Nguyen had a pleasant voice and light hand which made the injection almost painless. The two had such great energy and professionalism which made me feel so at ease. Martha also helped ease my nervousness. She was very thorough in the breakdown of my insurance coverage and setting up all my appointments. I can't say enough about CDIC-Brea! Everyone here was so comforting and professional they made my experience worth coming back and taking care of all my dental needs. If it wasn't for my insurance directory and Yelp I would have found CDIC. Thank you to everyone and see y'all at my next appt. in October!!!!!!! read more

Ok so now it's March 2020 and I spent over 10k about 3.5 years ago getting all my front top teeth crowned (which one of them just broke off about a year ago) ... I am now having to fix all of them cause they weren't done correctly. I have to go through 5 phases for the next 6 Months and spend 26k. Luckily, I have family who can help me. Otherwise I'd be stuck with the messed up crowns. With all the money I spent I could of had all of my teeth be implants. Please get like 3 opinions before spending a lot of money. Do not trust blindly. I'd recommend Doctor Craig Olsen if you are looking for a second opinion. I've been to so many dentist and so far Doctor Olsen is the only one that talked to me for over a hour on the phone, then called my mom and sister to explain it to them, then he gave us his cell if we had any questions. He gave me multiple options to go with that fit my budget. If you've had a good experience at CDIC then that's awesome. I'm glad you haven't had to go through what I went through. I wish I could go back in time and go somewhere else. read more

I went to get a routine teeth cleaning thats covered by my insurance and they wanted to add on a non-routine laser bacteria removing procedure that wasn't covered by insurance. It was going to cost $170, so I told them I'll just get my teeth cleaned without that procedure and they refused. They wanted my cash and refused to clean my teeth because I wouldn't pay out of pocket for an optional procedure that I didn't want. So not only did they swindle my money but they wasted my time as well. This happened to my coworker and I honestly didn't think it would happen to me but it did. I bet they get a lot of people to pay them cash when their insurance will cover regular teeth cleaning by convincing people they need laser bacterial removal done when really they don't. Then when they refuse they turn them away completely. This unethical behavior combined with their terrible and unprofessional customer service means I'll never come back. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

I love this place. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years because of a traumatic experience. I went to a couple of dental offices and did some research. I just didn't feel ok about any place really. My boyfriend kept telling to try this place because he loved it too so I finally called and Martha, one of the receptionists there, was so kind and she let me talk to me her at least 30 minutes about how scared I was. She also is really good about figuring out what your insurance pays for and all that. Once I met Dr.Kang I almost instantly felt comfortable. She spoke to me very clearly about what the situation was and what would happen. Her assistant Sandra is just the sweetest person ever. They're all very knowledgeable and kind people. I'll never forget anywhere else again read more

I found this office through my insurance. The office is very nice and clean, staff is great. They're all friendly and make you feel comfortable! Very considerate of their patients! The dentist is wonderful.. I have TMJ and I was so worried about how hard it would be to have my teeth worked on. He didn't make me feel bad about my situation and he was so considerate to give me breaks. He and the assistant constantly asked if I was ok. I would not go anywhere else, they treat their patients very well i couldn't be happier. Other places I went to made me feel like an inconvenience and they don't do that here. I was referred to Cosmetic Dental Implant Center (CDIC) by 1-800-Dentist. They said they accepted my insurance which is Delta Care HMO. I was told the office received very high reviews and not any complaints. I scheduled an appointment and received x-rays and a consultation. I was informed I needed a few procedures including a crown. I was given an estimate of $2060 & told the Dentist would not do the work with the type of crown and fillings covered by my insurance. To me, this sounds a lot like this dentist office does NOT accept my insurance. I asked for the office to mail me a copy of the estimate so I can call my insurance to find out what was in fact covered. When I called my insurance they informed me of some different options I had, and told me to have the dentist office submit a pre-determination to my insurance company so they could look and see if more coverage could be offered. I requested the office manager do this and she told me she would be in touch with me. I had not heard from the dentist office for at least a week's time, possibly even two weeks, so I called them back and the office manager told me the same things she had said before about my coverage. I asked her if she had submitted the "pre-determination" as suggested by my insurance company and she would not confirm or deny, except only to say, she will call them. Of course, I did not want her to simply call them, but this was all she wanted to do. Soon after, she called me back to tell me nothing more was covered by my insurance and the estimate would stay the same. I opted not to get the treatment at this office since they IN FACT DO NOT ACCEPT MY INSURANCE. Last week, I called the office since I never did get my teeth cleaned there, since they suggested to have it done after all my other work. I asked if I could come in for my cleaning, since I would not be getting the other work done there. They said yes. I scheduled an appointment. I arrived for my appointment, checked in, was sat in the chair with the bib and a RDA(?) greeted me, looked at my chart and then went to talk to the front desk. Next, a different office manager came to speak with me about when I would be getting the other work done. I told her I would not get it done here unless I had other insurance but that is not available to change right now and I would just like my teeth cleaned. She said ok, went back to the front, and then returned. She told me the dentist recommended I receive irrigation with my cleaning which was an extra $100. I said "my insurance covers Cleaning and x-rays and your office claims to accept my insurance so I would like to get a cleaning, since you already did the x-rays at my last appointment." The office manager told me a long drawn out tale of how a cleaning without irrigation was pointless. I told her I know what irrigation is for and I know what a cleaning is for, they are different and of course there is a point to getting your teeth cleaned, even without irrigation. And I am not going to a pay more for a procedure I have the option to receive, so the regular cleaning is all I would be receiving. Still, she tried to convince me that the "standard of care" required the irrigation. I had to draw it out of her by asking clearly, "so I cannot get my teeth cleaned here unless I spend an extra $100 to receive an optional treatment?" It took a long time to get it out of her but the end answer was that No, I could not receive a cleaning unless I spent the extra $100 for the recommended, but optional irrigation. This was extremely frustrating as this dental office is clearly giving false claims when they state they accept HMO dental insurance. The truth of the matter is, they will not do the work HMO dental insurance covers, so how can they say they accept the insurance? It makes zero logical sense in my mind and I feel very cheated, belittled, and manipulated by CDIC. I do not appreciate 1-800-DENTIST recommending this dental office as a match with my insurance and would like to put a very POOR rating for this office based on my experience. It is ridiculous that a dental office would turn away a patient who carries insurance they claim to accept, because the patient refuses to spend money on extra procedures. The wording "standard of care" must be carefully constructed to cover their reputation but the truth of the matter is they are only out for the money, and not the well-being of their patients. read more

I suppose this place would be ok if you didn't mind getting ripped off. I have insurance. It is an HMO. Which apparently is a big red flag to triple prices and try to get you to buy them a new car. I went in for a cleaning. The office was nice. Flat screens, nice staff. Parking a bit annoying, but not a deal breaker. Had my X-rays done. Fine, no problems. Doctor comes to see me. First thing out of his mouth - you need your wisdom teeth removed. Now, this is a pet-peeve of mine. I feel strongly that this a a cash cow. Why, oh why, would i bother to have them removed? 2 are fully grown in. The others, not even a twinge or a peep. They are sleeping. Leave them alone. His reasoning the ones that are grown in are "hard to clean". Um, sure. Moving along ... he looks at the x-rays, does not check my gums, calls out 3 cavities, and reminds me I need those wisdom teeth out. Then leaves and the "money nurse" comes in. Ok, dr recommends a deep cleaning, anti-bacterial wash, 3 cavities filled, wisdom teeth out, etc. The prices are ridiculous. $500 for cleaning, in the thousands for the wisdom teeth. I politely state, all i want is my regular cleaning for now. No, no, you NEED a deep cleaning. I can give you a discount to $400. Um, no thanks. Just regular cleaning covered by my insurance. Then you should not have an HMO - they are no good, but also, WE OFFER FINANCING! No, it is not that I don't have the money, I just don't want the treatment. Well, we refuse to do a normal clean on you now that the dr has recommended a deep clean. ??? excuse me? Ok, then I am leaving. WHAT??? Yes, I do not like to be price gouged, nor pressured to unnecessary treatment. Have a nice day ... Wow. So, I went to another "cash paid" dentist the next week. Gums checked out great. No cavities. Regular cleaning - $50. So, not sure if the problem is the insurance, or the greed, or both, but I would avoid if you don't want to be treated unnecessarily. I am now clean toothed and cavity free and several thousand dollars richer for avoiding. read more
