I got there at 9am, the nice lady at the desk (Kristen) took my keys and listened to my problems. 2.5 hrs and $194 later my suv brandished a brand new muffler and I was all set to head on to work. They also recommended other stuff that could need fixing totally $700, but am ok with that cause one involves brakes. I am adding this as we were impressed with the honesty and quick service we got. Knowing that our engine commonly suffers from exhaust manifold failures which are extremely difficult (and expensive) to repair, I was fearing the worse. This place has changed! It's not the same place or the same owners from 2 years ago. It was sold…read more I'm 78 years old and I was given the runaround. For 4 weeks I was without my car. They held it hostage for "repairs" they said they did AND are trying to bill me $2,000 for things I did not authorize. I'm going to small claims court. We also have the documentation we need for work that they say they completed but it is clear they did not complete anything. Transmission they broke was not replaced. Brushings for steering not done. They did an oil change I never asked for and charged $135.00! We have photos and videos from independent mechanics who looked at the receipt and inspected the car for what they supposedly replaced and recorded it in real time. It shows bolts rusted onto parts that they say they replaced and billed me for. No new brushings in steering. It's a shady place and if you know what's good for you you'll stay as far away as you can. This is my experience and it's the first time I've dealt with someone trying to take advantage of me like this. Went in for a simple Solenoid replacement in the transmission $1,100. Doubled the bill. Go somewhere else, anywhere else, protect yourself. That is the purpose of my honest review. Word of mouth experience...

This is an update to my earlier review. So 2.5 weeks of…read moreholding my vehicle under the GWC warranty. Their preffered shop to go to in the state of Michigan. Upon further research GWC warranty has this location, Law Auto Sales and repair in Westland, and another dealership in Detroit as their preferred shops if you need warranty work done. Law Auto Sales and repair currently not taking repair orders cause they fired their only repair guy. The Detroit dealership (I forget the name) recommends you take your car to a dealer and hangs up the phone. That leaves this place. So 2.5 weeks of holding on to my car and NOTHING gets done. They charge me $298 for a left rear wheel hub and finally gives me back my car. Tells me I have to cough up $550 for engine teardown if I want them to diagnose and possibly fix a bad timing chain issue covered under warranty. Months later my ABS light is back on so I take it to BABA auto repair in Westland and they fix the ABS light issue by replacing the left rear wheel hub all rusted out original equipment from manufacturer. I get my car back in 1 hour after I pulled in to their lot. The timing chain issue is currently being handled under warranty repair by A1 Quality Auto Repair and Transmission of Dearborn Heights. And they are not even a preffered network shop. Will I ever take anything back to this shop? Sorry... NEVER.
