I found some great hard-to-find CD singles and full length LP's on CD that I've been looking for and didn't spend more than $15. Score! I didn't interact with too many employees but the one gentleman I spoke with twice was very nice. I love this new location and I feel a bit safer walking around this neighborhood also. A great idea by The Great Escape to move to this location which seems larger - always a good thing. I hope to come back when I have more time to browse and when my pocketbook allows.

Therefore, parking is limited at times. I have come here 2-3 before, and they have a great selection of wide-stream music and local artists as well. The inside is filled with records and CD's filling shelves, bins, walls, and even the mantle of a fireplace. They also have a small stage and area to host events and live music inside. This year, We came here for Record Store Day 2024, and it was such a great event. We decided to come by around lunch time. They had vendors, food trucks, and live music set up around the shop. They were limiting the amount of people in the room with the RSD Titles; therefore, we waited in line for an hour to get into the store. That being said, this allowed for everyone to look through the bins leisurely. The staff and even the other customers were all so friendly! A few years ago they took over the old church in East Nashville where they house their collection of wonders. As you enter the front door to the right, you'll find the box sets, limited editions and record day specials, both in vinyl and cds. The middle is predominantly vinyl and the left are the cds, both new and used. At the far end of the building where the altar would have been is now a stage where they sometimes showcase mini concerts, cd release parties, and book signings. Downstairs you'll find a good selection of books concerning music, be it country, rock, blues, folk or jazz. There's biographies history and style, again both new or used. Against the side wall there's a huge variety of jazz and classical. They give you a very fair trade-in value on used books, cds, and vinyls. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you've never been there, you owe it to yourself to go and spend a couple hours!

I believe they were playing YuGiOh but I'm not familiar with the game so I can't be certain. There were probably 40 people in there all playing, a very cool sight to walk into! I stopped in to buy Pokemon cards for my nephew and me to open together. They don't carry very much sealed Pokemon products and most of what they have is listed at market price. I don't know if they regularly get items at msrp. This shop has a pretty large and diverse selection of single cards as well and I ended up picking up some from the display case as well as a few from the $1 box. I had great service from Brian on this visit. I will definitely be back, especially if I'm looking for singles.
