Most amp/guitar techs are butchers, thieves, and just plain assholes. The guys at Crown are none of the above. They fixed my amp promptly and held great communication the entire process (so I knew what I was paying for). It's run by volunteers, and they raise money such as the library's bookmobile for outreach to underserved communities in Boca Raton, the AWE Early Literacy Stations in both the downtown Boca Raton Public Library and the Spanish River Library, and the award-winning Storywalk trails at public parks, as well as other things. And not just any toys -- they're actually high-quality, unique, and very thoughtfully curated. There are also areas where kids can play, and even a small stage where they host storytime on certain days -- such a magical experience for little ones. Everything is always clean and comfortable. I especially love the carpeted floors -- it makes it so easy to just sit down anywhere, even on the floor, with a book and your coffee and enjoy the moment. The book selection is huge, including lots of activity books, crafts, and educational materials. My kids absolutely love it here -- there's always something new to explore, create, and learn. It is in a nice shopping center on Glades Road, across from FAU University. The staff are always helpful. The cafe is very popular and very busy. I found this store through online recommendations and expected a welcoming tabletop gaming environment. The cashier was polite and greeted me when I walked in, so credit where it's due. But after that, the experience was honestly disappointing. There were three employees in the store, I was literally the only customer there, and not one of the three employees ever asked what I was looking for or if I needed help with anything. One older gentleman, who seemed like he may have been the owner or manager, came across as grumpy and completely uninterested. The cashier, who was female, was the only person who acknowledged me at all. The two men working there barely made eye contact, acted completely uninterested, and honestly gave off the vibe that they did not want to help me or even acknowledge my existence. It felt awkward and unwelcoming the entire time I was there. I walked the entire store from front to back trying to find something beginner friendly for a child getting into Dungeons & Dragons. From what I could tell, the store seemed overwhelmingly focused on Warhammer and miniatures. Maybe they had what I needed, but I honestly could not tell because nobody bothered to engage with the only customer in the store. The frustrating part is that I made a pretty long drive specifically to come here because it was recommended online. It would have taken almost no effort for one of the three employees to simply ask, "Can we help you find something?" Instead, I just got grumpy expressions, zero interaction, and an uncomfortable atmosphere. What's really a shame is that my friends actually play Warhammer, and when I first walked in and saw all the tables, setups, and gaming space, I honestly thought this might be a cool place to bring friends and hang out in the future. I have found a few for a good price but they just weren't right. I found audio advisors and saw they had a pair so I called. The first and last question I asked was about the condition. The person I spoke with said several times they are like new and even said they are "perfect". He said the person who owned them had several houses and barely used them. To me "like new" means they are just like a new product but were opened and used. And perfect obviously means perfect. To my surprise they did not include the manual like a new pair would and the bottoms of both speakers have several very large scratches all over. This is the most I've spent on speakers and I planned to have these the rest of my life so I would rather not have them than have a pair with damage. Like I said I searched for almost 2 years for the right pair and the pair audio advisors sold me were not as described. I asked several times and each time I was not told the trust. I called to express my disappointment and the same person I spoke with made it seem as if it was my fault. He said "well you did buy a used pair". Yes, I know they were used but I was told several times they looked new and were perfect. Then condescendingly told me "The scratches are on the bottom you won't see them." Okay well there is also a blemish on the front of both speakers. Regardless, thats not the point and he was just making it worse. I was very calm never rude just disappointed but he handled it poorly and never apologized never looked for a solution just made it seem as if it was my fault for buying used. Like I said I asked several times about condition so I don't see how this was my fault. He then said plug them in and listen to them they're great speakers. He never seemed to want to help and never addressed my concerns. I don't know if he even understood (or cared) what the issue was. Additionally, I waited almost 2 weeks for a shipping quote. Fine things take time I get it but the issue was I had to call back after a week and remind them I was waiting. Still nothing after several more days so I called back again and they had the information. I wish they called me to let me know but okay. Lastly, I wanted to mention a few days after the initial call I got a call from the person I spoke with thinking they had the quote but he called me by accident thinking I was someone else. Not a big deal at all but goes to show they are unorganized. Needless to say I am very disappointed with the entire transaction but mostly disappointed my almost 2 year search ended this way. There are plenty of other places out there that are honest and if there was an issue would handle it much more professionally.

It may take a little bit to learn the genres and if you're looking for specific books, you may need to ask the staff for help. The staff here are nice and when I called to ask if they accepted donations, they politely said yes they will accept small amounts. I assume they may limit the amount they accept as there are many boxes of books there that are not even opened or on the shelves yet so they may be back logged. Used bookstores are a rare find and I think it's so awesome to have a place like Bookwise in the local community!
