Most amp/guitar techs are butchers, thieves, and just plain assholes. The guys at Crown are none of the above. They fixed my amp promptly and held great communication the entire process (so I knew what I was paying for). They also have a cool collection of vinyl, turntables, cool shirts, movies, etc. If you need your equipment fixed, this is the place to go!

Reminded me of a record shop that I used to frequent back in Queens, NY in the 90s. If you're into rock and metal, you'll definitely love the selection here. They had all kinds of cool albums, including some really interesting sets and Record Store Day releases that you just don't see everywhere. They also had a bunch of reggae, soul and dance LP's. Prices were a little bit higher than you could find online for most things, but there were some deals here and there. My daughter found a bunch of singles for a buck or two that we're going for more money on eBay. She was psyched. One thing that I was disappointed with was that the selection appeared to be like 95% new vinyl. I was hoping to find some used bins to look through but it was really slim pickens for diamonds in the rough. That aside, gotta love a record store like this. It's a humble location; it's in a quiet strip mall off Oakland Park blvd. Honestly, as we pulled in to the mostly empty parking lot I thought we had the wrong location. But as we entered I realized what few mall customers there were, were all in the shop. And what a nice space it was. Old school basic layout that I liked. Just boxes and boxes of vinyl to sift through. They were well organized, with punk, funk, and more all set in their areas. And the RSD specials were displayed above each of the areas they related to. It's not a huge store, but with the limited quantity it helped me find a couple things I liked. Glad to make the acquaintance of We Got the Beats, and hope to be back soon.

Their selection is great, they have a wide assortment of new vinyl and some great used vinyl as well. I picked up a used live Kansas double LP for $8, a very fair price. I also bought a special 2 LP edition of Nirvana Bleach with a 1990 concert, Operation Ivy - Energy and the Minor Threat LP. All prices were either at market or slightly below. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I also liked that they had a listening station where you could check out used stuff. Overall, a very solid five stars. I would absolutely come back here in the future.

Palm Beach Vinyl always has a great selection of older used albums and their prices go from understandable all the way to down right cheap. They package the albums very securely and always ship very quickly. I'll continue ordering from them until my wife tells me I have to stop.

The sidewalk next to the front door are $1 used records in boxes. Entered the overstuffed shop with used vinyl, magazines, books and CDs. This record store surely has some well priced hard to find original music in addition to new digital remastered vinyl. Found a few original Kiss, B-52s and Ramones albums. They offer a box of absolutely FREE records with a limit of three per person. The store policy allows customers to test play vinyl on a phonograph before making any purchase - great policy.

The location is pretty huge and the shelves are pretty easy to find because everything is labeled pretty nicely but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to where they are located throughout the store. Prices are reasonable but there have been a few items I have found for slightly cheaper on ebay (including shipping) or other sites that specialize in vinyl records. I like that this place does have a nice amount of cassettes as well but I would like those to be organized a lot more than they currently are. The store is super clean and very well lit and I like that they offer listening parties for some upcoming albums that are very hyped!

I have seen some limited edition color vinyl at not-terrible prices here, and a couple of those have certainly gone home with me. One other thing I love here, the owner will put together mystery bags of 4-5 records for a low price. You never know what you're going to get, but if you are someone who is open to many different kinds of music, you may find some really fun records. It's an inexpensive way to start building a collection. In one bag I purchased, there was even a record from Record Store Day way back in 2013. I also have some funk/soul records I *never* would have thought to buy, and you know what, they're pretty good. This is pretty much the store I will go to when I just want to shop aimlessly and see what I find.

It's near the Blue Anchor Pub, just before you go over the Intracoastal on your way to the beach. A Blast From the Past is owned by Dee Ziemba and it is made up of two boutiques, a couture boutique in front of the store selling designer handbags, shoes, clothing, and accessories, and a vintage boutique in the back with costume jewelry, hats, and collectibles. There was so much interesting art and beautiful porcelain but my favorite part of the store was the costume jewelry. It reminded me of all the time I spent looking through my grandmas jewelry box. I loved examining all of the gorgeous enamel pins and earrings that used to adorn the classiest of ladies. I also loved a Chanel bag and a really cool pair of Gucci sunglasses.
