Contacted the shop to get some diagnostics done on my vehicle. After being told the next availability was 3 weeks later. Said fine and made the appointment. Dropped off the car on the appointment day/time. After not hearing from the shop for a day and half I called and was told "he's out of office. Call tomorrow." Called the next day, and told they will get to my vehicle next week at the earliest. What's the point of having an appointment if my car is going to sit for 7 days+? Cancelled the service and picked up my car the next day. They may do great work but not being able to provide basic scheduling left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Unfortunately, the 5 star reviews don't do justice to this place. I scheduled my appointment almost a month in advance. On the day of the service to get the front, rear and fog lamps replaced (an upgrade) on my car, they stated that the tech called out sick, which was ok with me, so I decided to leave my car. Six days later, I got my car back (in a rush since I had to stop by after work). Everything looked good, but after driving it at night and taking a close look to the work done, it was less than ideal. The labor looked very unprofessional, it looked like I did it myself (and I have no experience at all). The head lights were not aligned, especially the driver's side which didn't illuminate more than six feet ahead of my car. The blinkers were completely loose to the point where one of them fell out of the bracket (at night, I realized I was driving without my front right side blinker). The fog lights were placed modifying the front bumper which looked like it was done in a rush. Furthermore, somehow, they managed to make my "cruise control" feature to stop working and my "ASC" light on at all times, which meant that my stability control wasn't working!!!! The worst is that when I called and made the appointment two weeks in advance for them to fix all these issues, on the day of the appointment, they did NOTHING to my car. My car spent the whole day at the shop, and they didn't check a damn thing, not even because they screwed up the labor!!!! The excuse was that the tech was pulled out for something else, so, that means that they don't care if they screw up. I'm a very busy person otherwise I would have made a complaint to the BAR, maybe I'm still on time to do so. Even though the front desk person is polite, this place has a giant lack of communication between techs, front desk and client. They never gave me a call for an update on the service; nor the first nor the second time that I was there. I was the one who had to call them to ask about my car. If they can't take the job, they should be honest and say "we can't do it" instead of doing a really poor job and breaking down or creating other problems in the car and not giving it the importance that it needs. Sooner or later the BAR is going to know about them. Oh, and last but not least, the labor went from 700 to almost 2k, which I don't mind, but I technically paid for a low quality work and to get my cruise control and ASC control broken. I had an extremely frustrating experience with this shop and would not recommend it to anyone. The customer service is horrendous. They consistently lie and concoct stories to cover their mistakes. I have a 1968 Corvette with original 327/350hp. I installed a Holley Sniper efi. While the engine pretty well, I felt it could have been better. I brought the car in to have a diagnosis completed. The shop discovered several issues. The intake manifold had a small vacuum leak, the O2 sensor was faulty and the AC was not communicating with the sniper computer. I needed my engine rebuilt and I was told this was supposed to be a reliable shop. Which was not the case at all. I schedule and appointment to have the work started about a month out prior to leaving it. I asked them for a time frame and they stated a month from this time it was dropped off. I let them know that if anything needed to change I just wanted proper communication. A week later I went to bring an additional part I wanted them to put in and noticed my car was still sitting in the same spot. I mentioned it to them that I would prefer to bring my car back when they're ready for it Vs it sitting in the hot sun in a lot. However they said they were going to have it started by the next Monday so I decided to give them the time. 3 weeks later , THEY HAVEN'T STARTED AT ALL. When I called to check in they had no real reason for the delay so I said I was disappointed and wanted to come get the car. The wife of the owner,who is also the receptionist responded with an attitude and told me to do just that. No customer recovery whatsoever. So I had to spend the day getting a tow dolly and car back in the exact same condition I left it in. The owner did attempt to come out and state that if I had just waited until next week that it was supposedly going to the part shop. While he was trying to give excuses his wife continued to be rude by coming outside and telling him "not to waste his time." They also had another worker make a point to make a snide remark as we loaded up the trailer. So clearly they feel they are too good for professional fair business. I will never recommend this shop to any serious car people. read more

Be careful with these people. I took my car in for a Dyno because I heard from others that Greg is the guy and to not let anyone touch your engine other than him. I asked Greg how much would it be for him to tune my vehicle and I told him that people have said you was the guy. He originally quoted me but then went into the details of it and gave me a grand total and a receipt. He said that would be the final cost out the door. Midway through the tune I received a text message saying he would need $800.00 more because there had been a design change from Ford that was overlooked. I immediately called them and found out that Greg was not the one doing the tune and that Greg was at home while someone else is working on my vehicle. The guy started to laugh as I asked question regarding Fords design change because I know Ford issues out details of all changes for everyone to see and it's up to the shop to look at these changes before they do any work. After speaking with Greg, the extra $800.00 came from the extra 7hrs of labor they had to pay the mechanic for the work. The Tune was done and so far haven't had any problems but I feel this is bad business. It's unprofessional to charge the customer extra for your failure to not adhere to design changes especially when you give them a detailed receipt. Nothing on my receipt said that this price was a quote and were subject to change. I appreciate the Military discount but I don't appreciate the lack of professionalism while working through design changes that you suppose to be aware of. I also didn't like the fact that Greg was not the one working on my car when I was told not to let anyone touch my engine but him. read more

I just picked it up today going from stock blower to a Whipple. They take their time and make sure EVERYTHING is right before i pick it up. If i had any problems with the car Greg was either calling me or in my E-Mail me the diagnosis and where we're going to go on from there. What a great team to work with. I brought my brand new 2015 Mustang GT to them and went over some upgrade options and goals. After talking through what I wanted to achieve and listening to their advice, I went with a Stage II ProCharger setup. They were very meticulous with the installation and it was so clean that it looks like a factory setup. On the first run we were able to get 550whp and after custom tuning by Greg, we got it up to 600whp! Needless to say, I am very happy with the service and end results. I highly recommend them if you are just going in for an oil change, or if you want to get some higher end modifications done! A great team and great service! read more

Very poor quality work. The shop owner and manager were very nice, but they were borderline incompetent mechanics. They did not back up their work and virtually all of the work they performed on my performance C-6 Corvette had to be corrected by a more reputable shop. $12,000 was spent with this shop, and I have spent more than $14,000 to correct their mistakes. A while back I had some work done and a Dyno tune . The tune was real good, but the work on the other hand was not. Picked up the vehicle and car started having same problem, but worse about a week later. Took it back and was told several excuses for why it happened, I left the car and 3 weeks later nothing was done. I took my car back and did the repair at SCSS in Miramar who found the repair was done incorrectly and backwards. I tried to be fair, they might do great work and this was just a 1 in a million thing but how they handled it was very poor. I recommend you be extra careful when dealing with any shop and performance. read more

David and Greg are awesome. Greg Dynoed our new 2012 Z06 vette in a great way. David installed on our 2002 SS Camaro long tube headers, fabricated an awesome sub frame connector for the Camaro due to a clearance issue with the headers. Besides that David also identified the other needs that a car at 90K needed completed and did it well so my baby is back up and running like a champ. Greg also did an awesome job with Dyno tune on the SS. The old girl had a few things that needed to be investigated which they did free of charge and when I had an additional issue David did not hesitate to come out to my home to look at the car for me.
