Well, the squash casserole that my wife recommended was the tasty part of the meal. The garlicky new potatoes tasted reheated and the chicken was under cooked. The price was great but regardless of price I expect a good meal. At a roasting place I expected the chicken to be falling off the bone or at least be cooked to a temperature to breakup the connective tissue and this was the opposite. I ate as much as I could stomach and then I focused on the reheated garlicky potatoes and squash casserole. The squash casserole did rock. Probably try their other location closer to home eventually, but this visit was less than satisfying.

Usually, you get these things and they're either stale or they feel like you're biting into a brick, but these were light. Airy. The seasoning is hitting every corner--it's like they actually care about your taste buds. No grease, just crunch. Then you hit it with the guacamole. It's fresh, I think, it's chunky, and it's got that lime kick that actually makes sense. It's not that neon green paste they try to slide you at the grocery store. When you combine the two, it's a beautiful thing. It's a peaceful transaction. No complaints. No notes. Just pure, unadulterated productivity. If you aren't ordering this, you're just making poor life choices. 10 out of 10.

However at Napa, we were one of just two small tables with guests, all seniors. A shame because the food and drinks are very good and offered at great value. He was incredibly attentive to detail, explained the menu so well, had so much patience with us, and suggested wonderful dishes for us to try. You can really tell he cares about giving guests a great experience. I was a little worried that because it was Mother's Day we might feel rushed, but not at all. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtfully paced. The manager was also so friendly and kind, which made the experience even more special. We left so impressed and happy. The front of the cafe has lots of amazing items like handmade soaps, honey, syrups, sauces, kitchen utensils and other merchandise. It was fun to look around as we waited for our reservation time to come. Escorted to our table we passed by a bar area that would be nice if you were waiting for your table and could have a drink. The main dining area held a lot of booths with some tables in the middle of the room. I think the booths gave you a certain amount of privacy and also keep the volume low so it was easy to converse with your company. Also on our table I noticed a tag with my name, reservation time and how many was expected. It was held in place with an old style clothes pin. Very cute touch and nice to see how organized they were. Our server was very attentive and answered all our questions about the items we were interested in ordering. We both ordered sweet tea with our meal and they came in what I have to believe were old fashioned jelly or jam jars! It was so appropriate! I ordered the Pecan Crusted Chicken sandwich, which was fried pecan breaded chicken, lettuce, bacon, red onion on a crusty hoagie roll minus the honey Dijon. My side of fries came in what I would call a strawberry pint container. Too cute! The fries were hot and crispy! The nutty flavor of the pecans with the smokey flavor from the bacon made this sandwich a real winner! Even though the dinners filled us up there was no way we could pass up dessert. Be aware their menu does change as I was looking forward to the creme brulee but was absolutely not missing it after ordering their bourbon pecan pie. It came warm, the crust was flaky and the fresh whip cream really added to the whole bite. My friend was deeply satisfied that she got her southern meal and I couldn't stop saying "oh my god" all the way home. It was just an overall very enjoyable experience.

We were very disappointed in the service here. The only thing we ordered was a wine bottle for $36…read more Our waitress came over, popped it open, and spilled about half the bottle. It was moscotto and looked like it had been shaken because it continually overflowed the bottle, so much so she put it in the ice box to contain it. There was wine on the table, floor, and (of course) the ice box. All she said was "That never happens." No apology, no offer to replace the bottle (we lost at least a glass and a half of wine), and no discount. I decided not to ask for manager purely because we were with friends and I didn't want this to become the "focus." On top of this, however, service was generally bad. We didn't order food, but it took about 10 minutes for our friends to have their order taken, another 20 for food to come out, another 10 for one person's food to arrive (she had a pizza that should've cooked the quickest), an extended period for the offer of the check and grabbing our cards. The only positive is the food seems good (based off of our friends), but that's it. I personally would never reccomend this establishment due to the lack of courtesy and attentiveness.
