They are terrible here. I changed locations from San Marcos and, not only did it take a month for them to finally contact me to make an appointment (as I guess you have to go through certain channels to switch over). I find that they didn't have me on their schedule. I waited 30 min for them to arrange to fit me in. An hour to finally see the Dr. Mind you, for a five minute visit. My husband took off work to accompany me to this appointment and they simply wasting our time. And money. I have another patient next to me that needs chemo treatment and they're denying her to come in for treatment as insurance policies have changed and she has even offered to pay out our of pocket & deal with insurance later. They still have not helped her out in this half hour. read more

I would like to begin by recognizing the exceptional office staff, including Beatriz, Cathy, Taylor, and Ms. Tina. They were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my experience, and I will truly miss them. They made a positive impact on my visits, and I appreciate their kindness and professionalism. However, my experience with Dr. Achala Doriswamy was unfortunately not as positive. I was initially hopeful, as I was looking for an oncologist who could guide me through my cancer diagnosis and treatment with empathy and expertise. Regrettably, I found her bedside manner to be unprofessional and uncomfortable. After the initial shock of my diagnosis wore off, I had many questions and concerns about my treatment plan. Beatriz kindly arranged an appointment the following day to discuss my bloodwork with Dr. Achala Doriswamy. During our conversation, I asked about specific values in my bloodwork, seeking guidance on how diet and exercise could help improve my health. Dr. Doriswamy simply told me everything was fine without offering any detailed explanation. She reassured me that I didn't need to make any changes, but did not provide any further guidance or clarity on what the results meant. There were several highs and lows on my bloodwork that she failed to explain or make me feel more comfortable. I also inquired about recommendations for a healthier diet to better prepare for my treatment, as I am currently dealing with obesity. I shared my own research on natural remedies like soursop and Job's tears and was met with an unhelpful response: "If you're going to do all of that, then what do you need me for?" She raised her voice and became dismissive, which was both hurtful and discouraging. I was simply seeking information and support as a newly diagnosed colon cancer patient. Honestly, the entire visit was unprofessional and too embarrassing to mention all that happened that day during my visit with her. Additionally, there were inconsistencies with my treatment schedule. Dr. Doriswamy provided me with certain dates, but later changed them without acknowledgment of the original plan, causing confusion and frustration. There were other concerns as well but it began to be too many to mention. I also mentioned to her my ongoing hip pain due to radiation treatment, which has now left me relying on a cane for mobility. She basically dismissed my hip pain and said she had never heard of any patient having hip pain after radiation. In my opinion, if your patient is telling you this then wouldn't you do research to help them? However, when my uncle spoke to Dr. Achala Doriswamy about this concern, she claimed I had never complained about it, which was not true. Unfortunately, my concerns seemed to go unheard, and she prescribed a pain medication but no resolution to finding out what is causing my pain. Thankfully, my new doctor reached out to me promptly and has been proactive in finding solutions to manage my pain. While the office is clean and the staff is truly wonderful, I would not recommend Dr. Achala Doriswamy as an oncologist, particularly for cancer patients. Her unprofessional behavior, lack of communication, rudeness, and failure to address my concerns left me feeling unsupported during a challenging time. read more

I would like to be informed of cancellations of my appointments. This has happened on 3 different occasions without anyone contacting me. I called and talked to Beatrice to confirm my appointment and she said the appointment was cancelled. Well now it has happened again. My labs were cancelled without being notified. This is not the way to run an office. read more

Office experience was terrible. not organized at all. Wife had her appointment at 11:40 and wasn't seen for her appointment until 12:30 Front desk lady couldn't figure put their system and couldn't process insurance information needed. Was trying to charge full amount instead of what the difference was with Insurance. Waste of time and so much for an appointment if they were so late. If we showed up 50 minutes after the appointment we would be asked to reschedule and probably pay a fee too. Care is good and they treat patience properly once seen in the back by doctors but front desk needs help and training! read more

I'd first like to say Dr. Doraiswamy is the best Oncologist ever. She always calls to give me updates, make sure I'm on the right meds between my other three doctors and her. Doraiswamy is very kind and truly cares about my well being. I'm very thankful to have her as a doctor!! If you have any kind of cancer you would want to see her so you can also experience the love from her and her staff. Beatriz Morales is Dr. Ds medical assistant. She is so kind and caring. I have had a numerous amounts of test that needed to be done by other doctors and coordinated back to the oncologist. Beatriz made sure I had all of my authorizations completed and orders sent to the doctors or testing centers. She makes sure I get my meds when I run out. On one occasion my treatment changed twice within a couple days, but Beatriz was on top of it all and didn't skip a beat. Things like this makes it bearable when you're in pain or at your wits end. The lab girl and nurses are all equally kind and ready to assist. I'm very happy my friend Karen Swafford referred me to this office. They are like my extended family. Dr. Doraiswamy and her team at CCare Murrieta have been incredibly amazing during my entire journey. Dr. Doraiswamy is extremely smart, very up to date and knowledgeable about the most recent breast cancer research studies, very straight forward about the reality of the situation (which can feel scary at times) and she's also very caring and comforting. I felt, and continue to feel, that she recommended the best treatment path for me. I felt comfort in knowing that she genuinely cared about me. Eventhough my treatment was very agressive, I trusted her 1000% every step of the way. She gave me all the knowledge I needed and pointed me in the right direction for the resources that she knew I would need. Even prepped me for the emotions that I would feel after completing chemo. She met with me every single time that I came in for chemo (all 16 rounds). She continues to check in on me even on the days I come in for bloodwork. It's been such a scary experience for me and I feel so grateful EVERY SINGLE DAY for her and her team. Beatriz, her assistant, has been so sweet, caring, and professional during my entire journey. Continues to be even post treatment. She's very easy to reach. She has helped me when I had difficulty scheduling appts with other offices (scans, port placement & removal, biopsies, etc). She's very quick to respond to emails or voicemails. Just knowing that she's there whenever I need help has given me so much peace of mind and has made this entire process less stressful. She is on top of everything. Thank you Beatriz. Ms. Trina, the hematology nurse was amazing at drawing my blood each time I came in. My veins are always very hard to get and I typically walk out of labcorp with 2-3 attempts each time. Ms. Trina would get my veins with her first try and no pain. She's so caring. Very personable and you can tell she loves her job. She has this very special energy. Very positive and happy everytime I saw her. The chemo nurses were also so caring and amazing. Always making sure I was comfortable. The first 3 rounds were so rough on me, emotionally, and you feel that the nurses genuinely care. Even though they do this every day, they knew how difficult all of it was for me. They put me in a private room during the first couple of rounds to give me some privacy. De, Taylor, and Judzy - THANK YOU! Your comfort during my treatment made me feel special and every day that I was there I felt that you genuinely cared about me and wanted so much for me to get better. cCare has been taking care of me for last few months. I body doesn't produce enough hemoglobin so I need regular treatments of intravenous medications. I love my doctor here. She constantly checks my lab's and handles all my hematology needs. My Nurse's are the best. They are professional and keep me smiling during my sometimes hours of intravenous therapy. The Staff is the best. Whenever I call them to tell them something about the way I feel. They instantly tell me come in now so we can check you out. This is what I would call that next level care that the wealthy get on the regular. Doctor constantly communicates with me and keeps my other doctors updated. The Staff actually shows genuine care and compassion. I'm not thrilled with the disease that Life has dealt me but as long as I have Dr. Doraiswamy and the Staff of cCare. Dr Doraiswamy is an excellent oncologist who played detective to figure out the cause of my husband's strange symptoms. With her help and then subsequent treatment, he is now doing fine. She has a top-notch staff (that's you, Elisa! Trina! Nancy!) My father has been dealing with cancer for over 15 years and .has never seen a Dr.s office take care of their very ill patients in this manner. Who governs these type of places.
