I was referred to Robert from a friend who had just had him finish up a kitchen remodel and she had rave reviews. I needed someone to paint my open beamed ceiling and also sand and paint a large bookcase and mantel. I was hesitant to call because I had contacted 3 other painters that neighbors and friends referred to me. 1 didn't get back to me, another one was booked until December and ghosted me and next never gave me a quote, and the third guy only said he could paint my ceiling only in one color (and it was not a color I wanted). I was feeling a bit frustrated and decided to text Robert. He literally got back to me within a few hours and immediately set up a time to give me a quote the next day. He was on time for the quote, wore a mask, and was so knowledgeable about exactly what I needed to have done for my project. He also suggested another paint color that would be great for the ceiling and bookcase after hearing what I was looking for. I decided to go with Robert to do this project. Robert and his team were on time, courteous, professional and absolutely meticulous. My house is very old so the original paint on my bookcase was yellow from age and needed to be sanded down and spray over with a special paint before painting over it. The job was done perfectly. I was very surprise about the price because this was the 3rd quotation that I got and he was the best/cheapest. We schedule the job 4 days later. Robert and his team were just outstanding. I had him close off an "open space" great room to create a usable living room and gym. He was able to come in at the last minute (I closed on the house on 7/25 and he started 7/26), showed up on time, and finished everything early to boot. The project included relocation of electrical and insulation as well, which was performed flawlessly. What's more, he accommodated several last minute extras I asked him to do after he had already started, including the removal and disposal of a ceiling fan and installation of a can light in its place, and repairing of damage to the hardwood floor and wall that was left when I removed a built in desk. Even with these extras, Robert finished an entire day early. The finished wall looks outstanding and you can't even tell there was ever an open space there. I will absolutely use Robert for any contracting needs I have going forward and am recommending him to everyone I know with contracting needs.
