Reasonably priced stiff drinks, great shows, but really needs a thorough cleaning. The bathroom was disgusting.

I love the people who work here (Matt, Glenn, etc.). The drinks are cheap as hell and the darts are free. So are the shows. I'm satisfied!

The BF and I stopped in after visiting Little Lucy. He noticed Purple Quarters on our drive through…read morethe Grove and thought it'd be a place I would like. I love that fact that they offer craft cocktails. The bar area is intimate and cozy. Since we just left from practically next door and enjoyed a plethora of cocktails. I couldn't drink any more nor did I want to. I follow them on IG to see what's the latest happenings and cocktail creations. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door with smiling faces. As soon as I walked in the door I was so excited for this game room because it's not typical. It's clean and intimate, like an upscale parlor. The bar is inviting and cute. The games are beyond reasonable. We love ski ball and it's located in the center of the game room against the wall with several attached, so you have to be crammed next to other patrons. Ski ball is only $0.50 a game and if you score high enough it automatically resets to give you another game. Where can you play ski ball this cheap. They also have pin ball games, arcade games, board games and more. We played several games of Connect Four-----CLASSIC. They have comedy night and karaoke in addition to gaming. We absolutely love this spot, can't wait to return.

Midtown

Hidden Gems in St. Louis -- and darling, the name is not exaggerating…read more I had the absolute pleasure of attending a birthday celebration here and let me tell you... this place is a vibe, a moment, and a whole sparkling experience. The space is intimate, stylish, and perfectly appointed -- the kind of place that feels like you've stumbled into a secret little jewel box in the city. It's cozy in the best possible way, with an atmosphere that invites laughter, celebration, and maybe just a little fabulous mischief. The bartenders? Absolute pros. Warm, welcoming, and clearly masters of their craft. Naturally, I ordered my classic gin and tonic, and it was perfection in a glass -- crisp, balanced, and exactly what a proper G&T should be. I heard from the birthday boy and his wonderful wife that the owners were incredibly accommodating, and you could feel that hospitality throughout the entire evening. Everything felt effortless and welcoming -- the kind of place where people clearly care about creating a great night. And then... the party truly began. We had drag queens serving glamour and joy, music, laughter echoing through the room, and pizza delivered from the birthday boy's favorite local pizza spot that honestly deserves its own standing ovation. If you want to know where that pizza came from, drop a comment -- because it was outrageously good. By the end of the night I couldn't stop thinking: this place really is a Hidden Gem. A perfect little pocket of St. Louis where good drinks, great people, and a bit of fabulous chaos come together. Sparkle-tastic. Gem-tastic. Pure joy. Highly recommend discovering this hidden gem for yourself. -- Big Daddy Tedd Energy

Still in love with Hidden Gems and everything it has to offer! The bar itself is such a fun spot…read more The décor is playful and whimsical, and the dance floor is always a good time. The upstairs lounge is perfect if you want to hang out with friends or just take a break and rest your feet for a bit. I absolutely love that space and how comfy it is. One of the biggest perks of Hidden Gems is their back room, which allows them to host events and fun pop-up experiences. I've been to a few, and most recently attended the "Taylor Swift: Bejeweled" experience. The space was decked out in all things Taylor, with every era clearly represented. Giant friendship bracelets hung from the ceilings and lined the walls, which was such a fun touch. And of course, there were plenty of photo ops with my close personal bff, Taylor herself! The drink menu was themed to match the eras, with tons of creative options. My friends and I tried several cocktails, along with a few NA options as well. I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks as I've been cutting back on alcohol over the past few months, and it's nice to still have fun choices that actually taste good! The Mirrorball was easily my favorite drink of the night. It tasted just like an orange creamsicle and was served in a disco ball...so good and so fun. My last drink of the night was "So Long London," which was almost like a dessert in a glass. Highly recommend ending your night with that one!

However, it is a good in between or right before home spot. If the Smokey smell isn't your jam, I'm warning you NOW. While they don't allow smoking in the space, it's no secret that the regulars are definitely cigarette smokers. Every time I go, I am the brownest and youngest person in the building. None of which bothers me. The $2 Jell-O shots and apple pie shots are fuel to mind my business and enjoy my sips. Oh and if you're hungry, they have bags of chips and frozen pizzas for sale. CHEERS!

No frills atmosphere, but very friendly service and good pours ... fun spot to hang out with friends early or late. They open at 9:30a, but don't count on a hot breakfast here; food is limited to nuts, chips and bag snacks plus a frozen pizza if you need some real substance. But undoubtedly one of the coldest beer served! Limited TV's, but there is 1 for catching some local games. Overall, solid 4.0 rated bar for attentive service, cold drinks and fair prices! And some great beads if you need any for Mardi Gras or party celebrations. You may not ever know this was here unless you're introduced by a local customer, but gotta love the friendly atmosphere and low drama establishment for a drink or few, Cheers, enjoy!!!
