He can do the work and run the business. The cabinet guys he sent to finish the job did so admirably. The finished paint work was completed, door panels, cabinet frames, all new soft close door hinges, an upgrade. The cabinet guys are work oriented, no complaints, no smoke. They were offering a free sink with countertop purchase when I was there. I did not find granite that I absolutely loved, but that was not an issue because they work with multiple other granite providers near the airport and in Ybor. Perfect! I found many granite options at those providers, and they marked off which pieces I loved, and they sent the information directly to Marsha. Marsha contacted me via email, and together we ruled out which granite was clearly not in my budget, then she worked up pricing for the remaining four. One of my favorites was left, and that's the one I went with. She set a date for two weeks out for installation due to their busy schedule. Her team showed up on time, and got right to work. My countertops turned out even more beautiful than I could have dreamed. The installers did have an issue once they drilled the hole where the faucet should go (cabinet was in the way), which I wish they had mentioned to me ahead of time, instead of me finding out about the issue only when my plumber showed up to install my faucet, but that was the only hiccup. I appreciate how prompt all correspondence was with Marsha and Savitre, the other office staff member, and I highly recommend them to anybody looking to enhance their home with new granite countertops.

After looking at tons of other granite we found a completely different type that we fell in love with. (at a different granite place) Long story shortened, the other place ended up cutting into the slab we wanted for a smaller job, leaving too little for our job. This other place also told us that they checked all of their suppliers and they couldn't find another slab like the one we wanted. We went back to Elegant Touch right then and there. Within 5 minutes, Elegant Touch had located a slab like the one we wanted, actually, it was several times more attractive than the original. That was two weeks ago and we now have our new granite countertop. If you are looking for granite, look no further. If they don't have what you want in stock, they can find it for you. Every other place we looked gave us nothing but excuses, Elegant Touch gave us nothing but quality service and breath taking granite!

I would have given them 5 stars except that they were slow getting the job done and that we had to travel to Tampa to pick out our granite. They did have an excellent granite selection once we got there. They did a good job removing and installing our cabinets and a great job installing our granite. We had some small issues after the install but they were addressed without a hitch. If they could speed up the install process, I would have given them 5 stars. Nobody likes to be without a kitchen.

Then, right before the job began, the foreman (Matt H.) claimed the shower tile job would cost an additional $500 for the ceiling, even though I had explicitly asked the sales guy (Mike E.) to include it. After I complained, Mike admitted a "mistake" and dropped it to $380, which I paid just to get the job moving.Extremely Poor Project Management: I was told the job would take 3 days. Instead, it dragged on for over a week with a mix of full days and half days. As a business owner, I couldn't just take a full week off to babysit this project.Incomplete Work & Rude Staff: The installer refused to hang the shower door and soap dishes, even though they were clearly on our signed agreement. When I messaged Mike about this, he rudely tried to force a Tuesday morning appointment on us without checking our schedule. When I asked for a different time, Matt became highly argumentative. Matt promised to check on a Friday slot and never called back.Bogus Fees & Refund Games: Out of nowhere, Mike sent me an invoice for $150 for a "canceled appointment" that was never even scheduled! Later, when I went to return unused tile and grout--which Mike originally said was fine--they changed their tune. Matt got nasty again and only refunded half of what I paid.Shady Release Forms: Mike later agreed to refund an additional $260, but only if I signed a liability release waiver freeing them of further action. I refused. A day later, he changed his mind again, trying to deduct an $80 cancellation fee for another ghost appointment. When I asked for the specific day and time someone allegedly showed up, he went silent.These people are unprofessional, dishonest, and aggressive. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else!

UPDATE: I was really happy with how Brian worked with me during a difficult time. On the surface…read moreeverything looked fine but as time as gone on I am seeing things that were not done correctly. They used a sprayer to paint the ceiling in the kitchen. There is over spray on the top of all the cabinets - it isnt really noticible until you open the cabinet door, but it is there. He said he would level the living room floor before installing LVP, but I can tell now now it is not leveled. Very few of the outlets and receptacles were installed flush with the wall. Some are cockeyed or protrude a bit. Everything in the kitchen is too tight. Some doors on the cabinets they installed won't open all the way where they butt up against another cabinet. There is insulation protruding around the dishwasher where they installed it. I made it very clear how much space I needed for the fridge. They used a too-thick drywall and reduced the space. They installed the baseboards then placed the vanities in the bathrooms. There is a space between the back of the vanity and the wall. This is all just little stuff I didn't notice before I made final payment. When I did find it, I called and left a message. Brian didn't bother to call back. I reduced my review to 3 stars because of this. They earned the 3 stars because they worked with me on payments (the insurance took a while), they showed up on time, and there were no language barriers with the crews.

My wife and I entered into the contract and project with good faith and high hopes for Home Love…read more Unfortunately we were let down at almost every stage of the project. A permit issue wouldn't allow us to do everything we wanted which is no fault of Home Love's. However, we received zero communication for over a month. Communication resumed only after we added another project to the contract. We went through 3 separate Project Managers. Had a dumpster sit in front of our house for 3 weeks with ZERO work being done. No communication from Home Love and we constantly had to reach out and ask for updates. Demolition was scheduled, but after the work was completed, the project sat for weeks with no additional progress. The contract stated they would contact 811 before digging. That was not done, and during excavation an irrigation line was damaged. The first part of the project was a drainage line which subsequently had to be redone 2 weeks later because it wasn't done correctly. We had to push for them to call 811 dig multiple times before that. Our pool safety fence was installed poorly. Multiple holes drilled in wrong places. Almost all of the sleeves are broken. We selected a self closing and self latching gate which was of course not ordered. We were provided a cheap gate that did neither of those things. It was only after my wife left a review on google that was corrected. For our Lawn project they ordered the wrong color mulch, didn't order the edging we selected and we were forced to change last minute after having selected materials months prior. Further work was conditioned on approving a change order that we weren't even provided an itemized breakdown for. Multiple plants arrived dead and required replacement. In our opinion, the most frustrating aspect was how adversarial the company became. We paid every single milestone on time or early and they threatened to file a construction lien before the final payment was even due under the contract. We have retained photographs and email correspondence documenting these issues. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Home Love due to repeated communication issues, workmanship concerns, and contract disputes.
