Cazeault did a great job installing my solar panels. But, after 5 years one of the panels is not working. I have contacted for them by phone and left voicemails and also emailed them and they have not responded. I have heard that they were bought out by a company called ConnectM and they are not supporting the business. read more

Been waiting 6 months for service on an existing installation. Lots of promises, no delivery. Neighbors in similar situation. Be very, very wary. Did a fine job installing solar 6 years ago under original owner. Just recently (6-12mo ago) the company was sold to a SPAC rollup - ConnectM. read more

They said it'd take 4 months, it took about 2 years. They said I'd have one smooth set of panels, instead there are a series of senseless gaps that look bad and result in fewer panels. They said I'd generate a surplus but I don't generate anywhere close to their estimates. They said they'd fix the problem, never got back to me, and then said they'd take me to collections over the balance of the bill, which is less than the money lost due to the duration of the project, and the damage caused to roof by their installation. Worth nothing that their sister company that just does roofing is great. These guys clearly took a nose dive, as you can tell from the recent reviews. On the positive side, the crew is really nice and really good at their jobs but my experience with the people in the office has been supremely negative. read more

We have not rec'd any bills or credits from Eversource to send to you. Can you give me an update on when the part will be in? There is a story to write here if needed and it all started when the owner of Cazeault Solar & Home (Tim Sanborn) came to our house & sold us a Solar System and also a whole new roof & gutters and let us to believe if we had any problems they would be taken care of right away. There is a lot more to be said to this story? All we are looking for is to get our system up and running? Sales and estimate process went quite well. Took a year for work to be completed (new roof, 34 panels, double Enphase battery back-up). To be fair, there were regulatory delays (Andover, ugh) and we did add the battery system after the original plan. Frustrating, nonetheless. Interest rate hikes during the long process effectively killed out low interest solar loan, so paid out of savings. The Enlighten app has bee showing consistent net exports every month but January. HOWEVER, National Grid begs to differ. They've replaced and tested the meter, yet huge discrepancy persists between my data and that obtained by Nat Grid, and the electric bills are piling up. This has been under review for some time. I have to say that advocacy/responsiveness on the part of Cazeault has been thusfar underwhelming. Although the system looks fantastic, and I am no electrical engineer, at this point I believe there may be an install or inverter issue. I hope to amend this with a more positive review soon, but for now I would recommend seeking an alternate vendor. read more

I have had an issue with my system (installed by Cazeault in 2017) reporting production for solar energy credits. Caseault seems unable to find the issue and correct the problem. I urge caution if considering contracting with this company. read more

11/21/19: Jon and Tim reached out to make this right - I appreciate the time and effort the took to do so. Jon from Cazeault come to our home to provide a quote for Solar. Prior to the visit he was provided with our electric bill so that he could provide us with the size of the system we would need, cost, etc. Well, he showed up with information for a system much smaller than we would need. He apologized and after doing an initial assessment stated he'd get back to us with a quote. But we haven't heard back since....for a company known for good customer service I'm very surprised that they never got back to us. read more

My experience w/ Cazeault Solar & Home (CSH) was abysmal. In October '21, we hired CSH to install solar panels. The 1st step was a salesman came out to give us a quote. He requested our past 12 months of bills which we provided. While here, he told us that we should also have our roof replaced since the cost to remove & reinstall the panels (if any roof issues) is high (He said $8k). So we agreed to replace the roof under our panels too. We made it very clear that we wanted enough panels to support not only our current usage (which I explained was not liberal- I notified him that we did programs like Rush Hour, during which Nest thermostats automatically change temps to conserve electricity during high usage times) AND that we intended to add 2 electric cars in the future, as well as that our now small children will also increase usage as they get older. WE had no idea how many panels we needed. He said he didn't believe that we should make vastly more electricity than we need & suggested 14 panels. The work took forever to begin. I texted him (my only contact at the time), & for a while he said he was looking into it, & then finally stopped returning my texts. In February '22, our roof work began, & the panels were left in our driveway. Never did CSH tell us that EVERYTHING IN THE ATTIC WOULD BE TRASHED & suggest that we remove or cover it. After the roof work was done, we went to put something in the attic. Dust, pieces of splintery wood, rusty nails & debris were all over EVERYTHING. We ended up having to take everything out of the attic (through the pull down), clean the stuff, clean the attic space, & put everything back up. It took 4 hours. When I called about it, CSH took $500 off the balance. Meanwhile the panels sat in our driveway for MONTHS after the roof work was done. I began asking why they weren't being put up. I was told "this week" for a few weeks. Finally the racks went up & were inspected. The panels still sat in our driveway. When I called CSH, they told me they were waiting on the town. So I called the town who claimed they weren't waiting on them. So I re-called CSH, who told me that no, they were waiting on Eversource. When I called them, they told me they were waiting on CSH. My contacts at CSH informed me the company was "undergoing some staff changes" & he wasn't sure where our job got "lost in the shuffle". Something about paperwork being misfiled...Finally, after making WAY more calls than a consumer should to get a job done the panels went up & were turned on in May '22, SEVEN MONTHS later. Initially things were ok. I was able to track our daily/monthly usage online. Then I noticed in Aug, that we used more than we produced. We ran the AC as ppl tend to in the hottest month of the year, but I got concerned (given what I had told CSH about our anticipated increase in usage, which we hadn't even added to yet) that we weren't even able to produce enough now in a very sunny month. So, I reached out to CSH in Sept '22. I explained my concerns, that ongoing, we would not be able to produce enough. They strung me along, requesting copies of our electrical usage & not doing anything w/them. In Jan '23, we got an electric bill for $60, without having increased our usage yet, as we had anticipated doing. I was then in contact with the company's new "customer service" rep. While she listened to me & expressed interest in helping (I proposed that CSH add more panels, & I would pay for the panels & they would install for free) she ultimately passed me on to the GM, who told me CSH wasn't going to provide the work for free & suggested I set up a home energy assessment (I have no idea what that has to do with a mis-calc of panels) & I wasn't even eligible, since we'd had 1 in the past 3 years. A terrible experience. Every household I know who has put panels on in the last 8 months (4 homes) has more than 14 panels, & has enjoyed quick install & a good experience. DON'T HIRE CAZEAULT. read more

We had a tree down on section of our roof and I got multiple quotes. We ended up selecting Cazeault. Their price was in the middle of the rage but I felt like they could really do the best job. My insurance inspector adjuster had dealt with them and she recommended them! That's not something to be taken lightly. Their rep Jon was extremely professional and courteous and unlike the other companies he treated me with respect and didn't assume women don't know anything! Jon was always on top of the project and kept me up-to-date. The company roofers did an extremely great job; fast and professional. They didn't use any shortcuts & cleaned the area after they were done. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with the result. I definitely recommend them & if I ever need roof work again I'll use them without hesitation. read more

My system went live on February 6th and for the corresponding billing cycle the system supplied all of my electrical need. Our solar system was installed in November 2016. It was completed very efficiently, as promised by Cazeault. Solar production for the first month was 25% of total electric power used. The second month was around 40%. This is better than we anticipated since these are the shortest hours of daylight in the year. Of course weather plays a big role but still, but this was better than we anticipated. We found the Cazeault representatives and workmen to be reliable and trustworthy. They kept to promised schedules and will always respond to questions. Had my solar system installed on 12/28/16. From start to finish the process and install went very smooth. From the initial meeting and information binder I received with all the numbers crunched in it to the install with the electricians and panel installers everything was outstanding. I contacted Cazeault Solar (by chance) from a list of solar installers in the fall of 2016. They are above and beyond the other installers that I spoke with. They are not pushy. Just matter of fact. They explained rebates, federal tax credits and quarterly income available (solar credits) from the government (called SRECs). They went up on my roof and used a gadget that told me if I was a good candidate. I believe the gadget told them the sun angle and hours of sun. They also explained that if I needed someone to take down trees to accomplish higher solar levels that the tax credit (30% I believe) would apply to the cost of tree removal as well as the solar cost and installation. I quickly decided to hire them and they told me their schedule and everything went perfectly. I didn't have to lift a finger. Cazeault worked effectively with the town I live in and they provided all the paperwork for rebates and tax work. I now get to watch how much power is produced by my solar panels (hourly, daily, monthly) on a handy website that I can access anytime.
