I do prefer the one in Southern California because the water area is a lot bigger. But I do like this one in Washington state because the rope course was amazing, and golf is actually really fun. The service was amazing. All the staff was friendly and they seem to really enjoy their job. I did enjoy the two young gentlemen they look to be like highschoolers or college kids that were dancing for the kids and wearing the T-shirts. They were so nice of my kids enjoyed dancing with them. I only knocked off a star because we stayed in the grizzly suite. It was a two bedroom suite that we stayed in. And there was a lot of little flies everywhere. And the bathroom had no wash soap in it. So we couldn't even take a shower using the liquid with soap we had to use a bar soap so it'll be nice if you know the Housekeeping can fill that for the next guest. But even with the waterpark being so small, my kids who are ages three, four, five, and six years old. All really love the waterpark so that's why I read it so high. Because as long as they had fun, I'm all good with that.

There are so many things this place can improve on. Where do I start…read more Patients, patience, patience. That is the key word for any parent and child who comes to this place. Your level of patience will be tested from the time you try to book your stay. My call lasted an excruciatingly 2 hours. Got hung up on twice, eventually they were able to reserve a room which did not accommodate my party of 6 but it was the last room they had so we begrudgingly took it. My family arrive after doors were locked for the night and it takes an act of congress to get someone from the front desk behind two sets of doors to open them. Luckily a patron was coming out and we were able to get in. I will say check in was somewhat fast but we were the only ones at the desk at this time. Very little information was given regarding the lodge at time of check in so do your homework and become familiar with the activities start and end times and prices. Everything costs a good penny so if you are on a budget this is not the place for you. Ask about the price difference in package deals or buying individual. You do have an option to charge to your room via the armbands each patron gets so it makes it a cashless transaction. We stayed two nights. The whole lodge is old and dated. The rooms are old and dated. Our two queen pull out couch was crammed for three adults and two littles. The bathroom is excruciatingly painfully small! This place is known for its indoor water park so essentially everyone should shower after a long day at the water park so having such a tiny crammed bathroom was beyond disappointing but we had to make it work. There is absolutely no space for luggage or bags. The beds were super outdated, the mattresses so uncomfortable. The queens were more like doubles. There is barely any room for two adults. Don't count on having quality sleep while you are here. The walls are thin, we heard arguments, screaming kids, kids running up and down the hallways day and night. The faucet in the bathroom leaked all night! There is no option for night light! It was so outdated there was no good place to plug in phones to fit all our devices near the bed other than two plugs. The lodge was sold out which meant there were people everywhere. Long wait lines for everything from coffee to mini-golf. I would not recommend this specific lodge as it was overpriced and extremely crowded. The parking lot was full day and night so if you get a close space you have to leave it because overflow is far from any door. The absolute worst part of the stay was the elevators! They are super small and extremely slow! We waited up to 3-5 sequences, the stairs were never an option as we had a stroller and bags for the babies. The elevators alone makes me not ever want to return. I will say that the staff were all great granted they deal with ornery guests all day long. I would recommend this place as a one time experience. I brought my children here about twenty years ago and now my grandchildren so no more GWL for me! I'm sure other people love this place and that's ok. My review was based on my own personal experience. Of course do your research and ask lots of questions and plan ahead to get the best deals and reserve the rooms that will accommodate the size of your family. They allow outside food which helps keep costs down if you have littles. Bring your own towels, theirs are thin and you can't take them out of the water park so it's a cold long trek back to your room. Bring flip flops or water shoes. One of the main reasons it was decided to book this establishment was its proximity to every tourist attraction. If one looks at a map of Seattle, you'll notice that three of the main attractions, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and the Seattle Waterfront, form a triangle, and the hotel is actually just right outside the triangle. When we arrived at Treehouse Point, everybody was so professional and kind! We were given a quick tour of all of the amenities in the lodge and other community areas. Then, we were directed to our tree house, Ananda. Just wow! It was cozy as well as spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything we could possibly need! Even though there were other tree houses around ours, we ALL enjoyed total privacy. A great deal of attention has been made in creating personal experiences while still tending to developing a very unique community. All building materials in our treehouse were the best quality available, and the workmanship is second to none! We walked around the grounds, being respectful of others' privacy. Every tree house was unique and beautiful! We then took the trail down to the Raging River. It was beautiful, but our spring has been unusually dry, and the river a little thirsty. Overnight, a rainstorm came through the area. The sound coming from a refreshed river the next morning was breathtaking! I wanted to wake up so I could experience it all, but instead I slept through it. I guess I slept comfortably! (And I am not young.) The bath houses were beautiful and felt like individual spa rooms. They were supplied with wonderful bath products, and the shower offered a pampering experience. Similarly, special products and amenities were provided in our private unit, including coffee and tea. We were going to wash our few dishes, but no dish soap was found, further demonstrating Treehouse Point's intent to pamper their guests. After waking up in the trees, we prepared our own mugs of coffee, tea, and nibbles. After a peaceful start to the day, we made our way to the lodge for breakfast (feeding the fish along the way). Our own breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The chef and souz chef prepared several wonderful dishes. The selections and quality of preparation were both outstanding! Our visit was so wonderful that we truly didn't want to leave! We made the visit to fulfill a bucket list item, but we are already talking about returning again, this time with friends. We loved it so much that we booked another visit -- but unfortunately, we ran into an unexpected childcare situation that meant we had to cancel. It was incredibly disappointing and honestly very inconvenient. We had been so excited to return, and having to change plans at the last minute was stressful. That's where Abbey Rodriguez truly shined. She was so gracious, kind, and understanding throughout the entire situation. Instead of making us feel like we were causing a problem, she stepped in immediately, handled everything with compassion and professionalism, and made what could have been a frustrating experience feel manageable and supported. Her warmth and willingness to help turned a difficult moment into one that actually deepened our appreciation for TreeHouse Point. Exceptional places are special -- but exceptional people make them unforgettable. I tried to explain that people were right behind us and it wasn't safe to block egress but the people at the front desk said that it wasn't a problem. My husband just needed to block traffic and unload our things then wait for a valet driver to appear. I asked if we could upgrade our room to a club level but was informed that they have no ability to do so at the front desk and haven't for some time. I was very disappointed at this. It would have been one thing if they were booked but just flat out denial just because felt somehow personal (even if it wasn't actually). I went back out to the entrance to see if I could spot my husband and made him stop. Soon after a valet arrived and said he should park the car perpendicular to the other cars so he would have somewhere to park. This would have effectively blocked both the valet cars and the through traffic lanes. He then asked if we were going to do valet parking. I told him "not any more!" This hotel charges $69 a night for valet and the self parking isn't worlds cheaper but it definitely felt worth it to have our car placed carefully by us and not left in the care of the person who felt perpendicular/blocking through traffic was a good idea. Meanwhile I found our room that has a persistent sound of whistling when the heating is on and I found that the bathroom, while beautiful had a rather unappealing quality. When you use the toilet you are looking directly into a rather large mirror. When taken all together it makes for a rather disappointing experience. I don't think I will stay at any Hyatt again. There are other options that are pleasant and clean and well thought out nearby.

Opening up their warm and gorgeous castle to you, Kat and Donn make great hosts that have that unique balance of being friendly and leaving you to discover on your own. The rooms are beautiful, the First Light room, even at the smallest room, was still well appointed with a walk in closet modified into a treasure chest of books, movies, games, a mini fridge and food area (both stocked with snacks even!) water container, extra towels, blankets, serious, it's like a huge cupboard of goodness. Breakfast was divine, seriously, that woman should open up a restaurant closer to me so I can eat there all the time! We stayed two days and were sad to go, I could have been happy there for a week. They have a myraid of animals that roam about and we made fast friends with the cat and pups, having those as tourguides around the grounds was a nice welcome. But let me tell you, that Turkish steam shower? Wow. WOOOOOOWWWWW! As relaxing as it sounds. Maybe more so. Overall, I can't wait to return and with the great prices and fantastic food that comes along with it, it's a sure thing we'll be back again and again.
