I have since learned after reviewing the invoice with the current technician at the shop where the vehicle is located I believe I was charged over $1,000 for parts I never received or were damaged by the Vaughn service department. I put in two calls and my current technician put in a call and no one has called back. I would not recommend this service department under any circumstances.

I went in, test drove it, and initially had a positive experience with the saleswoman (Becky). Because I had just been in a car accident and was waiting to find out how much I'd receive for my totaled vehicle, I offered to put down a nonrefundable deposit to secure the car. She told me she would speak with her manager and get back to me the next business day. On Monday, instead of honoring that, she called to say that three other people were coming to look at the car. I immediately asked again to put down the deposit, and suddenly I was told they could no longer accept one--completely contradicting what I had been told before. At that point, I took a huge risk and started the paperwork anyway, despite not even knowing what my insurance payout would be yet. Then I was told they don't accept USAA financing and that I would need to apply for credit through their dealership. I did this immediately while still on the phone and asked her to review my application so we could move forward. After that, I was completely ghosted for SIX HOURS. When Becky finally responded, it was just to tell me the car had been sold. To make things worse, when I checked back, the same car was listed again at a higher price. This entire experience felt dishonest, misleading, and incredibly unprofessional--especially given that I was dealing with the stress of a recent car accident. I was ready to commit, tried multiple times to secure the vehicle, and was led on the entire time. If you're considering buying a car here, I would STRONGLY recommend being EXTREMELY cautious. Communication was poor, promises were not honored, and the overall process felt deceptive from start to finish.

Which was the same issue I had cavendars look at and fix. So took the vehicle back to them and they put it on the pressurizer system and only found a small leak in the lower radiator hose. You would have thought they would look at the system as a whole in its entirety to make sure it was fixed properly. Well made an appointment to get that issue fixed and another $300 later the car is still leaking coolant!!! They will be hearing from my lawyer.

This time I arrived at 9:15 for a 9:30 scheduled oil change. Noted 7 cars parked in the service drive so got out and spoke to Tommy and said "Y'all look slammed. I'm just here for an oil change appointment". He said no sir these are all drop ins and we'll take care of your appointment right away. Grabbed Gina and told her mine was an appointment oil change. Saw Gina drive my truck around to back at 9:30. Went up at 10:20 to ask about what the hold up might be. 10:30 Gina comes to tell me the truck was just put on the lift. We discussed my appointment and she said she didn't know about that. Also said someone didn't show up for work blah blah blah So guess if I hadn't asked about it my quick 15 min oil change truck would still be sitting back there somewhere. I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars.
