I needed a gate done. The day they got there they said my jet ski needed to be moved. I gave them the keys. They did not lock it back up and a guy looking just like the one putting up my fence stole my jet ski. It does not stop there. I needed my fence to be wide enough for a motor home. I told them how I need it built. They did not do it. Then waisted my time when I gave them a chance to fix it. I will be finding every site I can to share my review. The gate started falling apart after 1 year. It also was not built right and has exposed bolts that have injured my family a few times. Also there was suppose to be a cement pad to lock the gate in. That never got built either. Advice do not pay until the job is done right! Or you will be screwed by these people. read more

I first hired Caveman Fence to replace a down section with chain link instead of deer fence. They did a great job, the guys who did the job were outstanding. I could not have been more pleased. I know there is another side of the yard where the fence will be coming down eventually and I was going to call them back when that happens since I was so happy with them the first time. Well I called them in March for a quote on a small dog run. He came looked at the area, asked me if Beth in the office had my phone number and I said yes. A week went by and nothing, I called and talked to Beth and she said they would get back to me. I left them an email message on their website. NOTHING. Here it is almost September 1 and I am still waiting for a quote. I am very disappointed that they are not interested in a smaller job. Smaller jobs usually turn into bigger jobs and lots of referrals that is how I got their name from a referral so needless to say I am not a happy camper. Almost 6 months and no quote, no word, not an I am sorry we are busy, NOTHING, NADA. So if you have a small job I suggest you try somebody else because apparently Caveman Fence is too big for the little jobs. read more

I don't recall how I found this company, but after having them build a fence and gate for me I can honestly say I'm thrilled. My project was fairly large and needed to be perfect for it was surrounding an estate. I had their estimator out to help me with the design, materials and boundaries. We settled on black on black chain link with powder baked hardware. Yes, powder baked rather than paint for extended durability. I also went with their standard heavy gauge fabric that should last decades. When the drilling team came out to set the posts they were very careful to get things lined up correctly. They also call in the power/gas guys to mark out any buried pipes/wires to avoid. After a few days of drills no and setting in concrete all the posts were in and beautiful. Then they stretched the fabric tight and finished with the caps, etc. I designed the iron gate and they built and installed it just as I had imagined. I would highly recommend these guys for any fencing needs. read more
