A wonderful experience! Not only did Tyler quickly resolve the issue another company hadn't, he explained what he was doing and why. A simple adjustment but something the ordinary homeowner wouldn't have known about. We had a delightful conversation. If I ever need something done, I'll immediately call him. read more

Wow. I'm so impressed! I called Tyler and he came out in 20 minutes! I had been told by someone else I probably needed the circuit board replaced in addition to $125 for the visit. Tyler checked everything. Fixed some things and got everything working - no need for a circuit board. Plus he's a great guy. Very honorable. Can't recommend him highly enough. read more

Tyler responded to our service call promptly and fixed our older garage door in no time, Very professional.

My garage door came off the tracks and was only held up by a few of its rollers. I was almost physically sick just thinking about the potential cost and maybe having to replace the door! Tyler came and fixed my garage door after diagnosing loose bolts. Quickly made the repairs and moved on to his next job. This is the second time I have had Tyler come out, for a different repair. Very friendly, skilled, talented man who knows his job quite well. I have found Tyler to be professional and provide services at a very fair price. Definitely recommend Tyler at Bear Creek Overhead Door. read more

Lucky for us they fit us in same day as we had a busted spring on the garage door which was very inconvenient for us. Extra effort was required due to poor installation technique on old springs. Good work and service by Tyler including clean up etc. Reasonable rates. read more

Although in high demand for his expertise, Tyler's response time to replace my broken door spring was awesome! His skillset is par excellence and comes highly recommended for anyone in need. Thanks again, Tyler, and best wishes! read more

I was out of town and my girlfriend was leaving the next day to meet me. She got home and the garage door wouldn't open all the way. It lifted about a foot and then stopped. She tried the opener again and it shut and then tried to open stopping in the same position. She parked outside and went into the garage and video called me. After she tried the button on the inside the door opened all the way but we could see a cable hanging down. I told her to manually close the door and just stay parked outside. She pulled the release and the door slammed shut. I turned to google and called Bear Creek from out of town and spoke with Tyler. I asked for a service appointment for Monday and explained what happened to him. He said it sounded like the spring. We drove back to town Sunday and Monday morning I texted Tyler asking for our appointment time as I didn't remember. He promptly responded letting me know that we originally had an afternoon time scheduled but he had an opening earlier if I would like it. I switched and he arrived on time. The spring was indeed broken and he replaced and serviced our door in a timely and professional manner. I won't hesitate to use Tyler/Bear Creek again going forward. I asked him questions and he explained everything to me so I could not just understand but learn. Full 5 stars are earned and I'm glad to have people that run their business the way they do in our valley. It's always nice being able to use a local small business that takes pride in their work and cares about you as the customer as well. read more

My garage door would not stay closed after another company serviced it. I called Tyler of Bear Creek Overhead who tried to help me troubleshoot this over the phone so I didn't need to pay a second company. I couldn't get it to work, so made an appointment with Tyler. After coming out, he agreed with the other company that the garage door opener was old, and no one could obtain parts to fix it. He recommended a new opener. Since both companies recommended different openers, I decided to do some research. I wanted to pay Tyler, but he said he didn't charge if he didn't fix anything. I gave him some money to reimburse him for his time and gas. After he left, the garage door started working again! I was very impressed with Tyler's integrity and expertise. I would highly recommend him. read more

I had a spring bust on my door, gave this guys a call and they were here before the end of the week. Showed up exactly at the time scheduled, clearly explained the issue and the cost to fix. Took care of it in about an hour for a reasonable price. I'll definitely be calling these guys again for any garage door issues that may arise in the future. Thanks dudes! read more

My sister backed a U-Haul truck into my garage door and bent the metal workings of the door and knocked it off its tracks. Jim came right away and got it functioning while he obtained the needed replacement parts. He repaired it better than it had been originally. Excellent job and very appreciated! Thank you! read more

Tyler has taken over for his father who has retired from the business. Thought we'd give him a try; he is a One Man do-it-yourself. Since he is the only one doing estimates, ordering, assembling, and phone calling, don't be afraid to call him anytime and as much as necessary to get your answers. He will get back to you eventually. My husband asked if he could come over on New Years Day to go over what door to order, and he showed up ON TIME! Didn't charge us anything for coming on a holiday!! 2 weeks later, the door that he ordered came in and he installed it. Tyler took the old door away and assembled our beautiful new door in 2 hours. There was a hiccup on day it was scheduled to be put on, but the next day worked even better! My husband and I were pleased that the garage door even came in "a day late" because of COVID and all the delays happening with merchandise at all companies. Tyler is a hard worker and determined to give you the best possible customer service. We even called the day before install and the day of installation to make sure everything was a go. My husband and I were extremely impressed by how much knowledge he has and we asked for him to showed us a brochure of what garage door would look the best with our home. We are retiring and chose a window design on the garage door that would have clashed with the rest of our front windows of our home. After choosing his selection, we were elated by how great the door looks. Neighbors came over saying how wonderful the home looks now. My husband and I highly recommend Tyler to everyone! read more

I discovered my garage door spring had broken at 4:30 in the afternoon. I called three different places and two said they couldn't get out to my place for at least a week. I spoke to Jim at Bear Creek Overhead Doors and he arranged for Tyler to come that night, even though that by the time he'd get to my house his work day would be long over done. He had other jobs planned and other emergency calls so he wasn't able to come out until 7, but I was so grateful for his kindness. He fixed my garage door up in no time at all. I will recommend them to everyone! read more

I never leave reviews but I felt I had to warn other people. I had such a terrible experience with this company. Not only was the job not done well, but when I called to discuss my concerns with employee he told the job was done and to "call the owner to complain." Some times people have a bad day, and sometimes one employee might be a bad apple, but what really astounded me was the attitude of the owner. This man shouted at me through the phone and was very angry when I calmly told him my concerns. He shouted through the phone" my drivers didn't do anything wrong". I was shaken up and when my husband called to speak with him the man was no longer screaming but was still unapologetic. Please take your business somewhere else. read more

Overhead doors installed a garage door in February 2017 and the charge for this 18 X 7.6 door was $1430.00, which I felt was high priced, however agreed to do so because Jim came right out the day I originally called. On August 10, 2017, I called for repair on the door, the screws that attach the arm to the door came off. Jim (owner) sent his son a tech, out that day to repair. The tech did attach the arm back on with larger screws and wanted to charge me $75 for the call, in which was still under warranty. After the tech called Jim, the charges were not collected. Jim called later that Friday afternoon and spoke to my husband and discussed the door saying he was concerned about the chain mechanism being loose and would like to schedule a time to come and look at it. He asked my hubby to unplug the door because he was afraid of it failing and falling and hurting somebody. Jim scheduled a time for the following Monday the 14th in the afternoon. Never came or called to cancel. August 21, 2017, I called Jim to ask if he was still intending to come out because I haven't heard from him and was told that he hurt his foot and would be by later that afternoon. AGAIN, NO SHOW OR CALL!!! I certainly understand if things come up and you can't make your scheduled appointments, but twice??? I have learned my lesson, by Overhead Doors actions, to call somebody else! Thanks for reading, Carla Willis read more

Jim came out and replaced my springs for my overhead door. He was efficient and reasonable. He checked all the cables and lubricated as required. Did a great job and I would use him again. read more

Called Jim about my garage door opener not working, and with all the current smoke I just hated to have to manually open and shut the door. He came out the very next morning (on a Sunday for no extra charge!), and reversed the "eyes" as well as tightened screws on the door and cleaned/oiled the chain. It was clear Jim knew the different brands and models and what to do to fix the issues that each one has. He knows his stuff, and is friendly and professional. Would definitely call him again! read more

I am writing to thank Jim and his team member (his son) for their efforts in making the installation of my two garage door opening systems as fast and efficient as it could be. I highly recommend Bear Creek Overhead Doors. Jim responded right away to my urgent call. He displayed a high level of professionalism, experience, and dedication to quality service. It has been refreshing to work with a general contractor who was dependable, pleasant to work with, and made time to answers tons of questions I had. Great job!! read more

I accidentally backed into our garage door which had not fully retracted. I called for help and Jim Mason came quickly, and repaired it quickly. He has some 35 plus years of experience and was amazingly quick with no wasted motion or time. His charges were very reasonable, and I don't think there is anyone better in Medford. One mistake I did not make was to try to do it myself: he noted that one mistake could risk losing my hand because of tension on the springs. He is expert and first class all the way. read more

Very pleased with service. We appreciated that technician came out on a weekend with no extra charge and then completed the work on the Monday. Arrived on time and finished quickly, very courteous and polite, thank you. I feel the charge to replace springs on my door, along with tightening and checking everything was very reasonable. I would recommend. read more
