Its a great place and it's worth the wait. I knew the main barber Brandon for years and he's one of the best. Always come out of there feeling fresh and good. His other barber's are great as well read more

Lupe is my hero!!! I am so forever grateful to her for fixing the terrible haircut he received a few days before at Snip-It's in El Segundo (please see review I left for them for reference). Lupe was very good with my 3 year old son and she was great to talk to. My son usually has a 1 clip used on him and he responded very well to being in a "grown up" haircut place. The wait was not bad at all considering it was a Friday afternoon and we were a "walk-in" first time customer. Now that I know Lupe's schedule, we will be seeing her every 6 weeks for my son's haircut. I really should have taken pictures of my son's horrible cut so you all could see how great of a job Lupe did without having to shave off all of my son's hair! read more

Cave Man Buzz - Lupe used a 1 clip around the sides and back, scissors/clippers on top for his faux-hawk then lined him up all around. So happy! - Barbers Near Me - Carson, California

I'm surprised this place hasn't been reviewed yet. Whether from Carson, Torrance, or wherever in the South Bay, I have heard of good stuff from P-Wee'z off of Figuroa St. I was referred to this barber shop by my girlfriend's cousin. He's always keeping up with clean cuts and I always wondered where he get his hair cut from. I was tired of going to horrible to mediocre barber shops. Exterior - Located in the plaza shared with a 7-11 and Drinking Water store, on Figuroa St. and 228th St. off the 110 Freeway. Classic barbershop exterior design with visible view of the interior. Parking lot is medium size only consisting about 20 parking slots. I have always been able to find parking. Interior - Decent size for a barbershop. Has a waiting area consisting of 2-3 couches and magazines to look through. Has the typical counter and hair products displayed beneath. Well lit, clean, and tidy. Experience - Friendly. Attentive. Chill. My barber, Marty, was good at what she did. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle that I wanted and on she went. She asked me questions throughout my haircut to see if I want something longer or shorter. She took time doing my haircut versus others who would do it quickly and not care as much. I paid about the same for my haircuts elsewhere except this time I got quality. She was on lunch when we came but it was worth the wait. I would come back. I'd recommend giving this place a try for anyone that is looking for a new barber or just want to try something different. Haircuts range $10-30. www.facebook.com/pweezbarber read more

Droppin a shout out to VOZ! Jorge picks only the best to run these booths. This dude is clutch. Only the cleanest cuts is what youll get from V. He cares about your hair as much as he would for his. They don't rush and they ain't slow either. Just clean and how you want it, hands down. Just wanna say that I appreciate their efforts in making the the environment so chill and family oriented too. They treat you like family here. And thats completes the experience. No bull. Ask for Voz. He'll take care of you. I wanted to throw an update. This shop has been taking care of me since 2015! read more

$15 for a skin fade taper. Husband thought it was alright. But in the end, he would prefer not spending $15 + $2 = $17 for a haircut that he needs probably every two weeks. Jorge did a good job taking his time and following my husband's request and instructions. Jorge was nice overall. No issues with him. Only good to say about his service. Thanks! Got in there about 30 minutes from closing and there was no wait. But I think we were cutting it close and they closed soon after my husband started his cut read more

5 stars for this barber shop. I've been going here for years and I must say my new fav barber is Marty. I couldn't ask for a better barber. She has the magic to make a disaster cut look amazing. Make she to make an appointment with her before walking in. You will be waiting if you don't. I think the shop opens at 9 but don't quote me on that. I texted her at 8am asking what time she would be going in and she said for you I'll show up at 830. It's nice to know that she has my back for a cut. Take care if her and she'll take care of you. Come on down and show her some love. You will not be disappointment. Oh and make sure you mention my name Jairo (hi-row). read more

I called yesterday to get an appointment. I found this place based on your reviews, but I did not see any hospitality in your establishment! I drove over a day later since they said I should get a call back within two hours. No biggie, instead I gave them 24 hrs and still no call. When I walked in the girl working there was super rude! Not a hi how are you but just looked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there. I explained the situation and she told me that she only took appointments only, in which I told her I was trying to set one up. Then she pointed at a number on the wall and told me to call the owner. In which I did yesterday and that's why I went in to see how it works. Mean while the guy sitting there getting his haircut without a mask on (fine) but then she proceeds to tell me to pull mine up when it was draped slightly off my face. But it is what it is! I would just except better costumer service, when I am trying to spend my hard earned money at this place to support locally owned business but I can take my money else where! Such a shame read more

I don't usually get haircuts nor do I write Yelp reviews. But after getting a haircut from Lupe, I just had to write this review. She did an awesome job and Brandon said my cut looked good. It made my day. These guys are good I highly recommend. I will come back next year for my yearly hair cut: number 6 natural taper and scissors on top. read more

Been coming here for about a Year now ! I always Cut my hair with that one guy that has that gay cowboys flag behind him "EDWIN" ... Came in here for first time for my regular #1 on top, zero on the sides, fade in between. It was Saturday so pretty crowded as expected. All the haircuts I saw getting done all looked pretty good so I wasn't too worried about my cut. Even though there were lots waiting they took their time cutting everyone's hair. Place is clean, nice big TV with Netflix on to help pass time is a big plus! Lots of parking. Dudes were all real cool and nice to all customers. Will be back for sure read more

Bad "chad" black barber. Lupe had a long waitlist and opted to have Chad cut my hair. Looked at me differently. He is something. He will start ruining your day by pushing the clippers on your scalp hard to get even that you didnt pick him first. I had him stopped pushing it hard, it was hurting. When i left he exclaimed: "next time have lupe cut your hair!!" Never answered back coz my dignity is still intact. To the owner: is that the way you gain customer's trust and please train your barber to be courteous. Regular haircut from $15 to $18 plus the rude service! Never will recommend. Am done after that "threatening" remark fr that barber. What a long 3 yrs. read more

Cave Man Buzz - Fresh cut in the making! - Barbers Near Me - Carson, California

Came across this place on Yelp because I was looking for a new barber closer to the Southbay. After reading all the good reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Came in, waited a few minutes, and I was seated. I asked for a skin fade and even showed the guy a picture of how I wanted it to be cut. Kind of hard to mess up a skin fade but...ended up having an uneven ring around my head because the guy clearly didn't know how to fade. Can't say it was the worst haircut I've ever gotten, but it was definitely one of the worst. It was definitely not worth the $14 I paid plus tip. But at least the guy was nice and tried to fix it even though he made it even worst lol. read more

Two thumbs up. Sent a last minute Yelp request since I was in the area and Brandon (owner) replied within minutes. As a new customer, it was nice to be immediately greeted and welcomed. I got a pretty fresh fade from Nacho and I was on my way. This spot has good customer service and character - which is surprisingly hard to come by at barbershops in the area...I'll be back! read more

Really cool peoples and good cuts but there shaves are not up to par. Very disappointed. Waste of money. I could've done a better job at home.. The first chair "B" reach out to me, and invited me in to make it up for the bad experience. Thank you B. read more

Been coming here for a few months and get my hair cut by Chad. Long on top slicked back and a little shorter on the sides. I usually come in on Saturdays and the place is always packed. Chad has his hair cutting on point and I always leave happy with the work he does. The other barbers seem to do good work and I've never seen an upset customer in my times there. The other barbers are friendly and always say hello when I walk through the door. This shop has a good vibe for families and usually has kids getting their hair cut when I am there. I'd definitely recommend this place! read more
