Great, healthy food, except it's a bit pricey. i made a bowl, and was charged an extra $6 for lamb and half an avocado, so the total came out to be $18. they have the prices for toppings on the glass, but it's hard to see and you have to choose quickly. CAVA IS HERE!!! Have been waiting for this to open for quite awhile. I would agree with other reviewers here on portions. I've eaten here 3 times now and each time my greens and grains bowl is either full to the top or half full! My husband's grains bowl was so full, he couldn't finish it. My coworker recommended this restaurant and the the food was great! I grabbed takeout for my wife and I while she is recouping in the hospital from childbirth. The food was fresh, lots of healthy options on the menu which we appreciated. You could indulge in some of their heavier options for a heartier meal. Our meals were $23.50 which I found reasonable considering the ingredients I ordered and their freshness level. I ordered a greens and grains bowl w lamb and some other fixings. The ingredients are good but the implementation really sucks. Especially online orders. They don't follow your instructions. They substitute the meat. Ask the sauce on the side--good luck with that. Absolutely love this place. So delicious, I get the greek salad pita wrap every time and it never disappoints. The staff are great, even if it's busy and you can tell they would rather be six feet under than work another minute. If they seem inpatient or rude, put yourself in their shoes. I've never had any negative experience with the staff, just reading some other people's stupid complaints. this place puts one scoop of half rice in your bowl. if you ask for extra rice they charge you for it. its rice it costs nothing. charging for extra protein is understandable. when they put in the vegetables they put in a tiny scoop of each. its not enough! why do i have to ask for extra corn, pickled onions, and every other vegetable you offer when its unlimited. are the workers getting a bonus check for giving the least amount possible!?!? i don't get it. i'm done with cava! read more

Cava's menu looks awesome. So much choice - you can even make your own grain bowl or wrap. I ordered through Uber Eats (using up a gift card as I don't normally like to use those second party order apps) and I don't know if this had any bearing on the meal, but I don't think so other than it taking a lot longer to arrive than promise which isn't the fault of the business. I ordered a falafel wrap and was pretty disappointed. There was minimal falafel in it. I counted 3 pieces. There was way too much sauce and a really unappealing hummus that tasted grainy. I liked the wrap and the pickled onions and cucumbers which went nicely but the rest seemed a bit extra and there were just too many warring flavor combinations. I ate half of it, wrapped it up and let my friend eat the rest. He also thought there was just too much going on. I'm always looking for grain bowls so I probably will try them again but did come away from this first meal a bit disappointed. read more

Incredibly slow service for pickup orders. Food is routinely ready 15 minutes after the time it was promised; meanwhile, walk-in orders breeze right through while I'm standing around waiting. Just now I watched 8 walk-in orders come and go and they haven't even started making my pickup order yet -- 15 minutes after the time I was told it would be ready. I even asked "can we just make my order over here?" (meaning the walk-in counter) and was told "your order is being prepared" -- and I could see that it wasn't. This has happened to me multiple times. I'm giving up on this place. read more

This place totally sucks! Been twice. Ordered online and both times it wasn't ready. Everything was missing from the order. Half the stuff i payed for was not on pita. Both times! When I got there the employees were chasing each other around the store and laughing and had their phones in their hand. Both times. Super unprofessional. The f bomb was being used on a regular basis without hesitation. Loudly. The employee was cleaning the grill and the walls with store still serving. Employees don't care and it shows. This was my first visit to a Cava, and it will not be my last. I had the excellent fortune of attending on their first day, deemed a community day, which meant my meal was free which was, I know, pretty amazing. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that there were so many choices for me. I ordered one of their curated bowls-- the lentil avocado, and it did not disappoint. All of the toppings were super fresh and flavorful, and my bowl contained a whole half of an avocado that they scooped out right on the spot. So many places are stingy with avocado, but that is not the case here. I was also treated to a drink, and loved seeing that they offer Maine Root soda which is SO good, but I opted for a cucumber/mint drink and OH MY it was incredibly refreshing on the 90 degree plus day-- I can imagine stopping just for one of those even if it's not a meal time. (BONUS: paper straws!) The restaurant was bright and super clean. There were outside tables available, and everyone was smiling, kind, and helpful. Excited to have this fast, healthy, and flavorful option so close to home. Community day got me in the door, but I will 100% be back. :) read more

Happy to learn a CAVA had opened in neighboring Woburn having heard a lot about the chain. Finally went today. Ordering online from website was a breeze and it was on the shelf waiting for me - all was correct with the order. The salad (bowl) was great tasting, really fresh ingredients and delicious dressings, but I was massively disappointed in how small the salad was. Maybe that is the way of the world now post-Covid when food costs are escalating/supply chain problems exist and safety protocols must be financed - but frustrating nonetheless. Clearly an $11 salad is not the size it used to be! That being said, I can justify and tolerate it if workers are being paid more. I would go back based on taste and freshness level now that my expectations have been adjusted. read more

The first time we ate there at Cava, we had a good experience as far as the quality and portion on the bowl and pita wrap. The pricing only shows as far as the base. Ask if you want to know what add'l pricing is added to base because it was not posted anywhere in store. The takeout was ridiculous on the portions, the bowls were half full. There were only 2 pieces of tomato, the tzatziki sauce was hardly apparent, including the feta cheese. The 2nd time on takeout, same each time.
