I don't understand the hype of this restaurant, was super excited to try because we live close and love Greek food, this food is not very good , over salted, we could barely finish our meals as a result , we tried it twice just in case it was just a one off bad day but nope , the food was still not edible the 2nd time we went and the service here was also pretty bad both times , not very busy and wait times were long. read more

Cava is absolutely fantastic! Their food is very fresh and authentic. I love how you have so many customizable options. My personal favorite is the grain bowl with half honey chicken & falafel with tzatziki, olives and eggplant dip. I love all the deliciousness Mediterranean flavors. You can add endless toppings and and dressings. The picture below is another, but similar grain bowl I had customized. While the food tastes good, my staff and I have eaten here at least once a moment the last six months and every single time we get sick and have upset stomachs. That's so disappointing because the food tastes good, they have great options and toppings and the price is affordable. We got two bowls. Almost too many options. Everything we tried was fantastic. The brown rice was flavorful. Chicken was tender and tasty. They weren't joking when they said the harissa was spicy though. Definitely add the pita chips. Looking forward to going back and mixing it up. read more

Call my family obsessed! This is our newest go-to fast-casual dining, especially when we want something to eat that is healthier and not greasy. Cava is another in the "build your bowl" trend, but is unique, delicious, and stands out from the others. Cava is based upon Mediterranean flavors, and you can opt to have your meal built as a pita. The options are amazing. You can build from a base of greens, grains, or both. The spreads/dips run the gamut from spicy (hello Harissa) to refreshing (i.e. Tzatziki). The mains are great, chicken, falafel, lamb! The toppings are both the usual, like romaine, to salt-brined pickles, pickled onions, or Persian cucumbers. Add a dressing, from Skhug to Tahini to hot harissa vinaigrette. That's the main dishes, but can I PLEASE tell you about the sides... the Pita Chips. I am addicted! I have ordered two orders with a side hummus and called it a meal. The chips are crisp, but chewy, and flavor-packed. So good. Was thrilled to find this new build-a-bowl type place while I was shopping today. Albert and all the workers were incredibly helpful as I figured out what I wanted to eat. He looked up ingredients for me to make sure the sauce I chose was dairy-free when I questioned him about it. So happy to see protein, non-grain, bases for bowl options as well as greens. I chose the black lentils, but the right rice looked good too. After the base, you add protein. For vegans, the protein option is falafel. They also count roasted veggies in that category, but since I started with lentils, I didn't mind. They allow unlimited toppings for free (except avocado) which made me very happy. Customer service was better than most places like this. When I mentioned there was no ice, it was refilled super quickly. Can't wait to come back! read more
