You can opt for bowls or pita wraps, and can build your own with a base (rice or greens), up to 3 dips, a protein and UNLIMITED toppings. I opted for one of the chef creations Harissa avocado bowl with honey chicken ($14) and it slaps. The serving size was super generous, the ingredients were all tasty and fresh and somehow the mix of spicy /Mediterranean just worked. I stopped by for lunch on Friday, November 18, 2022. The restaurant is a company-owned location of the Cava Group who bought out the Zoes Kitchen chain in 2018. Similar to to Zoes, the restaurant serves fast-casual Mediterranean food. On this date, I ordered the Harissa Avocado Bowl which consists of Harissa honey chicken, hot harissa vinaigrette, feta, hummus, corn, avocado and rice. The bowl just had enough spice to add a nice kick without being so overly spicy where I couldn't enjoy what I was eating. I've had other items on their menu and they've all been delicious and tasty. I am so glad I finally stopped by! I had been looking for a good healthy salad place and I was pleasantly surprised! The store has an modern and open concept with inside and outside seating. You get in line to start assembling your order. You can build you own bowl or pita or you can select from the ones listed on the menu. It was my first time here and I went by the staff suggestion of building my own bowl. There are plenty of choices for your base, sauces, toppings, protein and dressings. The harissa chicken is delicious and spicy! The balsamic date vinaigrette is a good way to offset the spice and get some sweetness into the saltiness :) They also have freshly made flavored lemonades that are refreshing and delicious. The cucumber mint, the pineapple apple mint and the blueberry lavender all tasted great and not overly sweet. My go to place for lunch/dinner, I lost most of my weight spending my money here and I have no problem with that. The different varieties that they have and the freshness they offer is chefs kiss. This location is my favorite I've been to other locations and they don't fill your bowl as they should. Here the service is great as well and they have plenty of room for a gathering. New to Cava. Had only had it one time previously while working in SC. Found this while visiting a friend nearby so took I her. It was the beginning of March 2025. We had no regrets! Very nice clean decent sized restaurant. Appeared new. Great food. We both enjoyed it and had left overs because it's so much food. This is a definite positive with his things are nowadays. Cava is finally here! I have waiting ever since having in Austin years ago. I went with a "pre-made" bowl, the Harissa Avocado Bowl. It was very fresh and packed with flavor and spicy! I appreciate that the Harissa actually has a bit of a kick, unlike some similar places in Orlando. The build your own is also a great option and you can load up on the toppings. I ordered via mobile, which is easy but had to wait over 30mins past my slotted pickup time. Hope they can work that out moving forward. I know they only opened a few weeks ago. There were about 10 of us waiting and some longer than I had. Ironically I saw the sign on the way out and really hope one day it is true. It would have been nice if a manager or someone would have given updates or offered a beverage, etc. A few of us ended up asking for water. I made a build your own bowl and enjoyed every bite! I love the unique ingredients and even though the meat ball portion is only 4, it's definitely enough for left overs! I recommend the harissa and tahini dressing drizzled on top. Also the try the crispy and freshly fried pita chips! This might just be my new favorite place! I love bowls that you can customize, but I love them even more when the items to pick from are fresh and healthy! Cava has so many nutritious and delicious options to pick from. I opted for a Cava favorite as it was my first time, I went with the harissa bowl, spicy, savory, and so filling I took half of it home to finish later! I was introduced to Cava in DC when I was visiting my sister. I was super excited to hear that they opened about two weeks ago. Since then I've gone three times. The food is good and is basically a Mediterranean chipotle. However, the portions are smaller than what I've seen up north (I think this is also mentioned in reviews before mine). It's a little disappointing when your bowl base is a skimpy portion of greens and rice. Service is pretty good, except today when the employees did not seem very excited to be working. For my bowl, I got the basmati rice, tzatziki sauce, harissa sauce, grilled chicken, and a variety of toppings like fire roasted corn, tomatoes, pickles, cucumbers, olives and feta. I topped it all off with the lemon herb tahini sauce which I enjoyed a lot. I like how you can have as many toppings as you want. I first tried Cava in Austin, TX and fell in love with this fast casual chain. As someone who is not a fan of Chipotle, this concept is much more up my alley. Mediterranean food is my favorite and I'm super impressed with the variety of their offerings. My favorite is the spicy Harissa Avocado Bowl (harissa honey chicken + hot harissa vinaigrette, feta, hummus, corn, avocado, rice, SuperGreens). I noticed that some of their signature pre-crafted bowls can be pretty pricey though ($17). I've also built my own bowl before and ended spending less. One of favorite things about Cava is their house made juices. I love the cucumber mint lime and the blueberry lavender. You can even mix some of the flavors together and make some fun combos. read more

I love Cava! I've been going to Cava when I lived in Washington, DC for years and I'm happy to have one here in Orlando! The only difference is I feel they have a smaller selection of grains here. I had the lemon chicken bowl and it was delicious. I did think that they added a lot of the lemon dressing and it was acidic and the bottom bits at the end of the bowl were swimming in it. Overall it's a healthy alternative for a lunch break. I first tried Cava while in Boston and was so pumped when they opened up in Orlando last year. I love a quick healthy fast-food option and I'm so into the variety of flavors at Cava. There are endless options for bowls and I think I could eat it nearly every day. The quality of ingredients makes the prices extremely reasonable. However, the last two times I've been to this location I've been disappointed with service. Prior, there was a server at the "bases" point, protein point, and sauces/toppings point. Now there is only one who is also packing online orders which is disappointing to people in line that feel ignored. Ultimately we go to Cava because it should be a speedy option. At lunch people drop by that need to get their bowl and go. This pace is not reasonable. I'm thinking they must have a hiring issue, so I hope it is resolved and that the process smooths out. I didn't like the pickles tho; though they were salt brined; they were a bit too salty for me. Stopped by here for the first time a few weeks ago per a recommendation from a friend at work and I do understand the hype. I've been back for to go again since and I've gotten a greens and grains bowl both times, moderately modifying what I enter. I do love the flavor of the harissa honey chicken however it does leave a lingering heat so be careful if you are sensitive to heat. I also love the base of spinach and saffron rice. I also recommend the balsamic date vinaigrette, it is wonderful. And if you're wanting a bit more (though I find the bowl filling on its own), getting warm pita on the side is always a winning choice. Partner has also tried the lamb meatballs in a pita with tzatziki and had no complaints. I am hoping to try some more options in the future but I do find that the price may be a bit high but they do compensate with how much food you receive. Cava is a chain I'm familiar with in the NYC area and moving down, I was sad Cava wasn't in the Orlando area, but looks like they're building several. You would think this Cava was in the middle of a NYC weekday corporate lunch rush. This has been the only time I experienced a Cava this busy, but this location matched that for Sunday lunch. I definitely didn't expect that having visited multiple locations in NY and NJ with no issues of a line like this. This line was not as efficient. I definitely felt like I have gotten out faster in the lines I mentioned before in NYC. We had a few issues with each staff member we interacted with, and this is an issue I have never encountered at any Cava. A staff member was trying to get past the lunch line to clean up some dirty reusable bowls and rudely (in tone) said excuse me twice. Next, while ordering, my husband made a mistake in asking for a wrong dip, and we both told the server multiple times to forget it and she made eye contact and slowly dropped the dip in. It's actually pretty laughable. Then, he asked the next server for braised lamb, and they gave him lamb meatballs. Finally, we asked for the pita at the end because it was never offered to us, and I think it was the manager who was also cashier, but said also kind of rudely the pita is "all the way down there" and that we need to wait for them to grab it and ask at the start of the line next time. Maybe just offer it from the start then? I know this location was slammed and maybe they were surprised as we were so maybe they're not used to the volume, but this was a really odd experience since I have visited many locations over the years. Portions felt a little slim as well. I probably wouldn't come back to this specific location and would try the other in the area. We also passed Costco in Orlando today, and it looks like they're taking over the Zoe's in that area so there are definitely other options. read more

I agreed, but then rather than building the "Chef-Curated Harissa Avocado Bowl", sans avocado, he just started asking me to choose dips, proteins, toppings and dressings. Basically, I got a "Build your own" and fortunately, that's what I was charged for. The food was delicious, the harissa chicken and dip had a good level of heat, the toppings were varied and flavorful and the portion was perfect. I'm just glad I got here when I did, because I watched 3 or 4 parties of people get tired of waiting on the line and simply leave. A third person finally came out to work the line and things began moving a bit faster. I would also hope that the staff training would include presenting a good attitude, because these guys all seemed pretty glum. If Cava works on it's staffing, it will get at least a 4 from me... I used to LOVE Cava, but I'm sad to say that the value has severely declined since they've expanded. The portions are now 1/2-2/3 the size of what they used to be, their prices have increased, and the service isn't great. Their employees aren't necessarily rude, but they are quite blunt and don't seem like they want to be there. Also, many items are upcharged now so it's almost impossible to order without accidentally choosing something that has an upcharge. For example, I ordered the lamb and apparently that's a $3 upcharge, which I didn't know until I got to the register. I understand that this is partially my fault for not reading this correctly when ordering; however, the employees should also make an effort to communicate this to customers. The fact that it wasn't even a lot of lamb stung even more. Keep in mind that some customers have anxiety and visual impairments. I've worked in a similar environment and when I did, I was always transparent with customers when they ordered items with an upcharge so they wouldn't be caught off guard. They didn't even give me my pita that's supposed to come with my bowl. I didn't realize this until I was already comfortable eating, and by that point, I just didn't want to deal with the employees anymore. The food tasted fine, but Cava overall just isn't good value anymore in my opinion. For the price, I'd rather go to Bolay or Fresh Kitchen.
