not bad! this place is like a Chipotle style serving. u just point at the shit u want in ur bowl and they put it in there. it tasted pretty fresh. i got an arugula base with the roasted veggies and falafel. the sauces were really good although difficult to mix into ur food. maybe theyre meant to be dipped, idk. overall tho, nice clean place food was presentable and taste was good. i would stop by here if I wanted somerhing quick, simple, and affordable. read more

This is one of those places that I keep trying every few months hoping it's improved, but I'm disappointed every time. I love the concept, I like the food, but ONLY if you either dine in or order to go in person. If you order via the website or a third party delivery service (which I usually do) you're probably in trouble. I have ordered no less than 10 times over the last year or so and my order is wrong every single time. Not once have I received a full, correct order. I tried again tonight- ordered double hummus, got zero hummus. Ordered 2 dressings, only got one, which is actually an improvement because the last 3 orders had no dressing at all. I don't understand why it's so hard to make a correct to-go order when the receipt with the order and ingredients it literally taped to the top of the bowl. I know mistakes happen, but here, they happen every single time. read more

Food is generally great. However, my most recent to go order was incorrect. And they forgot the sauces and forgot the pita chips. It's frustrating when you get home and realize that order is wrong but you don't want to go back in the evening work traffic to get it corrected. This CAVA is quite literally the worst. I order from them on a semi-regular basis, and it's always a pickup order ahead because the restaurant is far from my house and Im often in a rush. WITHOUT fail, they screw something up. I never seem to get my complimentary pita, they put the wrong sauces on my order, and they always seem put out when I refer them to the details of my order and ask them to fix it. Today, they messed up my sauces again and when I asked them to remake jt, they took my incorrect dish and threw rhe whole thing away in front of me, even after I said, I specifically didn't want it to go to waste. I asked if either I could have the bowl or they could keep it and have someone on staff eat it, and they said no and threw it away. What a waste of food. read more

I have ordered a take out veggie pita an hour ago. I asked for it to be toasted and to have the seasoning on the side. As soon as I arrived home, I took the sandwich out of the bag , and it was not toasted and the bread was soggy from the seasoning that was not on the side. The taste was horrible from the first bite. Too much seasoning. made the taste just vinegar and the vegetables fell all over the counter and the floor. This is the first time I ever have such an experience like that. Soooo I've ordered two or three times from here in the past and it was amazing. Today, not so much. Upon opening my container I noticed portions were smaller. It was still enough to be filling just not extra filling if you catch my drift. As I'm digging in I realize there are a few ingredients missing. Then and this seems to be an issue for restaurants that serve bowls with rice, the rice had hard uncooked pieces. As if this weren't enough I also found a small hair. Last but not least: we witnessed a cockroach crawling across the floor. One of the little German ones. Although not as scary as their larger, American counterparts, they still carry lots of germs that can make you sick, and when you see one you can assume there are many more close by. Would I be back? I don't often leave reviews, but I had to say something about this angel of a man named Jose that helped me with my lunch today. I am a single mom on a very low income. I had exactly $12 to make it through the rest of the week, which was just enough to enjoy a nice meal of cava. I like the option of having bowls that are pre-designed, but if you are a first timer its best to build your own best bang for your buck in my opinion and the employees do a good job walking you through step by step.
