Miles above any other Turkish place I have been to and I have tried several including Doner Kebab at Quakerbridge Mall and Kapadokya Mediterranean Grill on Route 1. It is simply scrumptious, tasty & absolutely delicious! The peppers and salad balance out the crispy hearty falafel perfectly and the feta cheese crumbles & white sauce add a perfect finishing touch. Bereket means prosperity in the Turkmen language. It's predominantly a Turkish grocery store, but the beauty here is the Gyro & Grill. It's here where people often order food to-go while taking care of their groceries. I didn't come for groceries, but instead came for the falafel platter. It took about 5-10 minutes to receive the order after placing it. The thing I didn't realize was that you need to pay at the main register where people pay for their groceries. I thought I could pay for it there, but there's no separation. Might make a difference in the future because there's only one register and the line could be long. With that said, the platter's the topic of discussion. This was really really damn good. The falafels were huge and tasty. The salad had a nice variety to it. The sauces were just enough, but also not too spicy. The perfect mix. The portion itself was very big. I was pretty hungry that night, but the platter can definitely serve 2 people. I wouldn't order this again. - The salad was watery...they need to drain the water better - The rice was cold - I think it was sitting out too long - Now for the main event - the meats - we enjoyed the flavor. This saved our dinner, we did enjoy the meats. We called them about the bread and they were apologetic, and told us we can stop by for bread next time we are there. The interior has a casual front side with tables and the back has some booths with some ethnic decor.
