Pita chips (delicious) and my custom bowl (also delicious)

This place has me in a chokehold. The staff is very sweet here. I enjoy making my own bowl, it's so tasty and I love all of the toppings options they have. There is a clean eat-in area, so often I will eat my meal there. If you're able to, definitely get the cucumber mint juice, it is so refreshing and light. Don't forget to get their app and collect rewards points!

    Falafel Bowl

Was so happy that Cava finally opened that I needed to try it the week afterwards. Because of a pre-planned vacation, I couldn't make it on their actual grand opening, but made it in due time. It's the typical Cava experience. Great food, filling bowls, reasonable prices. I haven't had Cava in nearly 3 years so I had to get my falafel bowl fix. To be fair, I think the falafels aren't the best of the Chipotle-style Mediterranean places, but it does the job because you just get so much more filling. Hard to ask for more, tbh.

    small portions, unhygienic lacking.

The restaurant owns a Turkish supermarket next door. All of the food is delicious. Warm bread and sauces are included (the red sauce is DELICIOUS but super spicy, the white sauce is minty and tart). Get the Mucver!!!! I haven't tried other appetizers but the Mucver stole the show. It's a zucchini vegetable fried pancake. If a latke was made of zucchini. Super flavorful. Not greasy at all. The chicken Adana is my favorite. It's a ground chicken well seasoned with herbs and grilled. My husband had the mixed grill of gyro (beef), lamb, and grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was delicious. Both are served with a salad and rice. Very good service.

The yogurt entree (so embarrassed we got hungry and ate before the camera) was good but I would try out the main entrees if I were to come again. Staff was friendly and efficient. An authentic restaurant, decorated well and nice seating. Would definitely recommend!

Im back for my absolute fave Turkish cuisine this time, a sandwich and not a wrap…read more I tried something new today, The Sheperd, which is your choice of protein and I always get Falafel with Sheperd Salad, Crumbled Feta & White Sauce. Again, I cannot tell you how seasoned, crispy & tasty the falafel is here! Miles above any other Turkish place I have been to and I have tried several including Doner Kebab at Quakerbridge Mall and Kapadokya Mediterranean Grill on Route 1. It is simply scrumptious, tasty & absolutely delicious! The peppers and salad balance out the crispy hearty falafel perfectly and the feta cheese crumbles & white sauce add a perfect finishing touch. It is right past the Wendys on Route 1 and much healthier for you (and more delicious). Give them a try!

*Disclaimer, there's a duplicate of Oktay's on Yelp. Same exact location. This one has more…read morereviews, but I think Yelp should consolidate these two* Oktay's is located inside - and to the right - of the Bereket marketplace. Bereket means prosperity in the Turkmen language. It's predominantly a Turkish grocery store, but the beauty here is the Gyro & Grill. It's here where people often order food to-go while taking care of their groceries. I didn't come for groceries, but instead came for the falafel platter. It took about 5-10 minutes to receive the order after placing it. The thing I didn't realize was that you need to pay at the main register where people pay for their groceries. I thought I could pay for it there, but there's no separation. Might make a difference in the future because there's only one register and the line could be long. With that said, the platter's the topic of discussion. This was really really damn good. The falafels were huge and tasty. The salad had a nice variety to it. The sauces were just enough, but also not too spicy. The perfect mix. The portion itself was very big. I was pretty hungry that night, but the platter can definitely serve 2 people. I probably could add the combo (fries, etc.) just to ensure that. For $12, the platter is a good deal (especially if it feeds 2 people or meals). I'll be back.

This is an update to a prior review. This has been one of our favorite restaurants in the area but…read moreour last visit fell short. We ordered the family platter and a hummus to go. We were told it would take 30-35 minutes, which is fine for cooked to order food. It really wasn't very busy, but the order took 50 minutes. The order was sitting on their counter ready to go, but it appeared they were backed up with making the bread. Once the bread came out, they bagged it up and we were ready to go. They almost forgot to give us the side salad, but they remembered before we left. Now for the food... - The bread that we waited for- was doughy and undercooked. It had burnt pieces stuck to it and they were not shaped as nicely as their usual bread. - The hummus side that we ordered, which was almost $8, was a half filled half pint container (very small amount) of what appeared more like a sauce rather than the thick hummus we are accustomed t. I wouldn't order this again. - The salad was watery...they need to drain the water better - The rice was cold - I think it was sitting out too long - Now for the main event - the meats - we enjoyed the flavor. This saved our dinner, we did enjoy the meats. We called them about the bread and they were apologetic, and told us we can stop by for bread next time we are there. As this is one of my favorite restaurants, I want to give them an opportunity to do better next time! The afghan bread and their rice have alway been my favorite part of their meals! I think it was an off night for them, I'd definitely give them a chance again in the future.

Everything from the Chicken Chapli Kabob, Chicken Gyro Platter, Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef Kabob to the fresh made naan is delicious. The hummus is a must try. The prices are still extremely reasonable and the portion sizes are large. The service and staff is also very personable, friendly and full of suggestions. The interior has a casual front side with tables and the back has some booths with some ethnic decor. There are not many Afghan restaurants in the area, but hands down this is one of the best ones I've been too. I definitely plan on continuing to eat here.
