Cava is similar to Taim. I love coming to this healthy Mediterranean eatery, especially since you can redeem points for rewards through the Cava app or log into your Cava account on their website, both are free and easy to use. This is the healthiest meal I can find in Soho Manhattan. Some food items are gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Good service from the eatery staff. The place was busy during lunch and dinner hours but good service. Just note, restrooms are available for customers only. I love the comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Grilled chicken with Saffron Basmati Rice, Traditional Hummus, Pickled Onions, Fiery Broccoli, Tomato + Cucumber, Kalamata Olives, Harissa, Red Pepper Hummus are delicious and healthy! The Balsamic Date Vinaigrette and Lemon Herb Tahini add more taste to the meal and are healthy as well. On top of that, meals come in compostable fiber takeout bowls along with disposable utensils made of plastic. If you care about cutting waste, the same as I do, it makes sense to carry reusable utensils made of stainless steel. read more

This was my first time trying the CAVA in the East Village, and I was really impressed. I ordered the Steak + Harissa Bowl, and it was packed with flavor with every bite. I loved how every bite tasted a little different because of all the fresh ingredients they include. The restaurant was clean, and we must have gone at the perfect time because it wasn't too busy. It's also in a fun, lively part of the city, which made it an even better lunch stop. I'll definitely be ordering that bowl again! read more

This location doesnt have many seats. The food is good taste like the other locations. Service wasnt the best I had one person ahead of me who was at the register but it took a long time to get my bowl. The girl was taking her time doing the online order when she got to me she did my greens and dips but didnt want to scoop the salmon so the other girl had to switch with her and it was kind of a mess she was complaining everyone was getting salmon. I tried this location thinking it would be better than union square but I was wrong. read more

Cava used to be my go-to spot for a quick bite between classes, so I decided to stop by this location during my work break today. The staff was so friendly and patient, even when I took too long deciding, since it's been a while I went there. I really enjoy Cava's food, though I do find it a bit salty for my taste. Their pita is always a favorite, and I never skip the blueberry lavender drink. I find it refreshing and not overly sweet. Their drinks are good. Another perk I appreciate is that if they're out of something you order, they'll give you a gift card. read more

The service here is friendly and fast. My go to is the chicken greens and grain bowl and toppings are unlimited. I usually go for the olives corn tomatoes pickles onions and the cilantro dressing and pita crisps. Sometimes they forget to give the pita bread, just kindly remind them. It's about $13. I love the cucumber mint drink they have here. There's seatings and in the back they have a clean bathroom. read more

My go-to spot when I need a quick lunch that's light and delicious but still keeps me full for the entire day. This CAVA location is actually my favorite, mostly because they have outdoor seating as well as upstairs seating. Ordering is super convenient through the app. read more

Don't hate me for being around all this delicious food in Nolita, and stopping at a chain. I needed something quick and not too unhealthy. Other CAVA locations have been a bit on the salty side, in the past. But I was starving so I rushed in for a Greek salad with chicken and it wasn't half bad. The chicken was actually very flavorful without being too salty. The staff was so sweet and even gave me extra olives without blinking an eye and held onto my salad when I went to use the restroom (which was pretty clean). There was space to dine-in but I took it to go. The salad didn't make it home, it was that good. read more

Food is amazing and the customer service is amazing. Marlin very nice lady helped me with recommending with the food. GOOD LUNCH BREAK SPOT.

Gotta give a shout out to Francesca and Jasira for helping me so pleasantly! @managment it was smoky as hell in there and the alarm apparently was going off all day, not just the 10 minutes I spent in your store, you gotta fix the vent fans or upgrade. There was 4 people ahead of me at 7:55pm but I was in and out within ten minutes so quick service! Food was good, I opted for the pulled lamb and it was tasty and tender. Thanks Cava! read more

Let's see.. I've dined at CAVA in Washington, D.C., Chicago, NYC ( Bryant Park, Flatiron, Soho). Why you ask? Because if you want really good Mediterranean food in a casual setting then CAVA is it. CAVA provides well executed salads, grains and bowls. Additionally, their menu offers a good variety of options: falafel, chicken, lamb, harissa chicken, meatballs. You can pick your base with either saffron rice, greens or pita. There are numerous toppings from cabbage slaw, fire roasted corn, Persian cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, toasted pita chips.,. Are you hungry yet? My colleague and I stopped in the Cleveland Place location and ordered lunch to go. I love their falafel and decided to order it, but not in a pita, instead opted for spinach as my base and all the fixings. I did not buy a drink although they do offer Spindrift cans ( sparkling or seltzer). The ordering process is smooth, staff is friendly and the establishment is spacious. The pricing isn't hefty for a meal, my bowl cost @$14 but it is IMO two meals in one; very hearty portion. Thus if you want a taste of the Mediterranean, CAVA is a good destination. read more

I love Cava, and this is definitely the best location in the city. The food is always fresh-I opt for a falafel bowl with allll the toppings and sweet potato when in season. But what makes it a stellar location is the service. Renee, Lauren, and Iesha are so friendly and the breath of fresh air to the fast-casual food world. They never hesitate to fill my bowl to the brim either! While there are locations closer to me, I always go out of my way to come here. No read more

As a diabetic, Cava is one of the few places I can eat my heart out when ordering (no lentils/rice or falafel though - or sugar spikes up). How does it compare to Chipotle? I spend about $12 (no drink) at Chipotle and there's less variety while at Cava it's about $13+ (no drink) with a lot more variety and choices and the Cava amount is definitely more. Why the 4 stars? Well, they asked me for a review and they were all extremely nice for this one day. Usually it's a bit ho-hum and a few times I did get barked at. I frequent this Cava maybe once every two weeks to once a week so I use the Cava app for rewards. read more

Fui surpreendido de forma extremamente positiva. O restaurante entrega uma operação muito bem estruturada, com serviço ágil e atencioso, sem perder a autenticidade. I went here on my lunch break .... I ordered the food prior to getting there..... When I arrived the food was ready I didn't have to wait long .... The food however was an atrocity barley any chicken I was literally search for the chicken lol ; moreover it was cold ; They drowned the whole thing with sauces I think rule of them for pick up put sauce on the side so the food doesn't get soggy The food was just not good I threw the whole thing away ... I really wasted 18.18$ This is my first and last time at this location... When I went inside it looked like runs down chipotle lol do your self a favor and just go to Naya! Decent yet filling! Different than SweetGreen as their tactic is to give more filling items. I come here if I want to feel full yet I go to SweetGreen if I am feeling floaty. My go to is the falafel bowl with all the toppings + harissa sauce + a complimentary pita which is $12.22 + tax. Online ordering gives a hour time frame, but the bowl is usually fulfilled in 30 minutes based on my observations. Workers are patient and friendly. read more

I think this bowl was great! We ordered for pick up and though there was some wait it all came relatively fast. I got the market spice bowl with half chicken and half falafel. The ingredients were very fresh but I felt that there was a lot of rice/arugula relative to toppings. There was also a lot of sauce so I don't recommend dumping everything into the bowl. The pita chips were definitely the show stopper and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They were perfectly crunchy and seasoned, and tasted delicious with a side of hummus. read more

I was extremely disappointed with their standard between bowls and it's needed improvement immediately. My husband and I ordered separately but exactly same thing for a Wednesday dinner and I got a totally different bowl from his. There were only our 2 orders when we picked up so the reason wasn't from the capability of store. Firstly, the portion of my order was much smaller compared to my husband's and they missed one of my dipping sauce. We both ordered meatball as our protein and mine tasted super sour and salty, but my husband's was decent. My experience in CAVA was really bad and the only good thing was their app, which was easy to use. read more

ta I enjoy food from CAVA. I have been eating in different locations all over the city. First time in this location on Spring Street. The girl serving me had a really bad attitude toward me. I think because I'm white. She was so much nicer to the person behind me- non-white. read more

I am a CAVA regular, primarily at their 42nd street location. First time I had Cava and I must say I was very impressed, and after my nth meal I must say this is still my favorite fast, healthy, casual spot! Fresh ingredients, healthy, big portions, and great prices is what comes into mind. You can choose between ~4 types of veggies or grains, choose 3 out of ~6 dips, pick 1 out of ~4 proteins, have unlimited toppings, and top it off with a sauce of your choice. Eggplant dip, chicken are my favorites here! The tzatiki sauce was also great, and the lemon herb tahini taste fantastic and healthy. Unlike the 42nd street location, there are seating options here at the back, with outdoor seating and upstairs seating. Awesome! Would come back here again if I need a quick, healthy, and decently priced meal! read more

I purchased through the app for pick up. I created a greens and grains bowl, almost duplicate to the Harissa avocado bowl. I LOVE CAVA for so many reasons. One it's fresh ingredients, they're delicious and they give you sooo much food is easily lasts for 2 meals. The bowl I order is about $12, so it only feels like $6 per meal. This is a fast casual spot. These build your own places in NYC are amazing and cava is no different. I get the chicken bowl with feta dressing, hummus, cous cous, feta cheese, onions, the green sauce and lemon tahini sauce. Might be forgetting something but this bowl is amazing!!! I decided to give this location another chance, but now it is the 3rd time they have gotten by order wrong. Still edible, but not what I ordered. I should not have to worry to open my food to make sure it is correct, but all details are printed. I needed a quick service place so I could be in and out. Cava looks like a perfect spot for a quick lunch so I checked it out. At other places like Dig Inn they put all sorts of food combo's together. Here the options are strictly mediterean and it works. I have been to other Cava locations and they are all consistently good! I really liked the roasted red pepper hummus and the falafel also were decent. The falafel don't have that dark green inside so I wonder how they make these. They also have a bunch of different proteins so there is a lot to choose from. I like how they keep it mediterean in here so it is one theme rather than all over the place. I also ordered the pita with it and it was soft and chewy. It compliments the meal perfectly. The food was pretty good overall and I would come back. I know these types of places are struggling during the pandemic so it was good to come support! read more

The first time I had Cava was at this location and the worker that helped me was Leslie. She was GREAT! Leslie was so helpful guiding me through the process and she did not gatekeeper the best dressing combo (Lemon Herb Tahini and Garlic Dressing). Not only was the food good but the service clearly was too. Today was my second time coming in and I brought my husband so it was his first time. Leslie was working again (yay!) and unfortunately they were out of garlic dressing but Leslie offered a good substitute and even came up with a little container of the garlic dressing once it became available again to go with some pita chips (see pic). She hand delivered it to our table upstairs and I was so touched! Amazing amazing service! Leslie you are da bomb.com! :) someone give this girl a raise!!! read more

Not all Cava's all created equal but any time I've gone to this one everyone has been so kind and on their A game. Francheska was so kind as she rang me out and gave me a compliment as well which always seals the deal for me. I can tell when people actually enjoy their work and I can tell that the management here took time to hire the right folks. In this area the customer base can be a little odd and rude in some cases so having to navigate that requires a backbone with a little bit of spice. Thank you Spring Street Cava!
