Whenever I need a good, healthy portion of greens and tasty veggies, CAVA is my go-to spot. I stopped by this location in the middle of their prep for early dinner, I imagine, so it wasn't busy at all. They were doing FIFO (first in, first out) switches, which made the salad bar look a little messy, but as someone who worked at Panera in high school and college, I completely get it. You have to take advantage of your downtime when you can! My only ongoing qualm with CAVA (and this applies across locations) is that they can be pretty stingy with the portion sizes of rice and greens. I usually have to ask for an extra ladle just to fill up my bowl properly. The staff at this location didn't mind at all and happily obliged. The pita bread didn't seem as fresh as usual, but everything else was good and consistent. Just what I needed for a post-gym, late lunch session.

Food was tasty, I tried the new shawarma chicken pita, the staff was friendly and recommended me the plate, it was good just my wife and I had lunch without kids and was doing a nice weather to be outside eating at the restaurant.

They are a bunch of young kids working there I've had my fair share of getting into with them bc they are rude as hell and extremely slow they are not in any type of hurry and they will stare right at you while u wait in line as they have a conversation so I mean foods good but it's always a long wait...

Solís 5 every time. Cava never disappoints. Great tasting fresh ingredients. The seasoning is on point and the pita chips are a MUST try every time. One of my favorite places to eat in the area

Let me start with I love Cava and frequent other locations throughout the city when I'm working. However, the Kingwood location is close to home and is consistently disappointing. The cons: Roasted veggies have been either raw or burnt, and the portions can be pretty stingy. I picked up an online order and the bowl was half filled. It was a greens and grains bowl, and I've had tacos with more lettuce on them than this bowl. The pros: The other part of our order was a pita that was more generous in size. The order was ready on time.

I've been here so many times it's almost my weekly meal. I really like this healthy meal where they make the veggies taste delicious. I like the variety of dips/hummus, toppings, and sauces that they offer. So far Ive only gotten the bowls. I like their spicy chicken and veggies with the spinach and lentils. Very flavorful and delicious. This place stays packed during lunch hours.

Delicious fresh and affordable. We went to a close by salad shop and spent double what we did here.

We found the staff to be attentive and they did an overall great job of adding things to our salad bowl we asked for, even adding some more of an ingredient if it was something we really liked. My wife pretty much got a straight up vegetable salad with a big mix of ingredients. I opted for a more "healthy" one with the addition of kale and spinach, garbanzo beans, feta and at the end I paid the upcharge for half an avocado and a salmon fillet. We were quite satisfied, I kind of felt my salmon was a little overcooked and dry but they probably do that so it keep well and appeals to a larger group of customers as rare cooked fish is not always desired. While there, I used the restrooms which were clean and shiny. Overall we felt the entire restaurant was spotless and kept very clean. The only thing I would fault them on is that the surfaces of their tables show a lot of wear, probably from the metal bowls the salads are served in. They really need to upgrade all the tables with new ones in my opinion. For that and the dry salmon I give them 4 stars out of 5!

My wife, my son, and I were driving back from a trip to Livingston when my wife suggested Chicken Salad Chick. At first I thought, "Only chicken salad?" But she started listing the options- buffalo chicken salad, barbecue chicken salad, chicken salad with apples and grapes, plus pimento cheese. So, I figured it was worth a try. The restaurant has a trendy, down-home vibe, kind of like being at a cool aunt's house. The girl at the counter was great and very helpful with ordering, and I like fast-casual places that bring the food out to your table. I ordered a Dixie Chick chicken salad sandwich with macaroni and spicy pimento cheese. My wife got the Classic Carol on a croissant with broccoli soup and grape salad, and my son ordered the turkey club with macaroni and a side of buffalo chicken salad. The chicken salads were fresh and tasty. The Dixie Chick and the pimento cheese were my favorites. The macaroni was a bit of a letdown, not bad, just nothing special. The other standouts were the broccoli soup and the grape salad. The Classic Carol was good but a little plain for my taste. I also tried the red velvet cake, which was really good with excellent cream cheese frosting. Overall I'd recommend it, especially if you want something different from the usual fried chicken spots.
