How it should look filled wise

This my 2nd time coming. My first tiMe was good so here I am. I was disappointed right away. I think another employee was getting off leaving the one who waited on me. I can see she was frustrated but I was hoping it didn't spill over onto my service. It did. My food was poorly made and I felt rushed. Worst part is the steak was the bottom scrapings and I stated something about it but still received it. And overall it was skimpy as hell. And i don't like the way it was handled.

Never tried Cava before but decided to try it out as I wanted something on the healthier side for lunch. Always hear people talking about it and I was in Elmwood so I thought why not. This location has seating indoor and outdoor. I went on a Saturday and while a good bit of people picked up to go orders, there were only a few people sitting inside eating. When I ordered I tried the Harissa Avocado as my friends say that's something they get. I do not like hummus but said I'd give theirs a try. I asked for that on the side, as wells as, the harissa vinaigrette. The worker said sure and was able to put it in the small containers which I appreciated (I know some places charge for that but they didn't). I told her it was my first time having CAVA and she was helpful. I got their sweet tea and mixed it with regular lemonade. I sat inside and found that it was only a few smaller tables. All the small tables had hard dirt stains on it. It was one that a quick spray and wipe will not take care off. It's one that you need to spray something that targets hard grease stains/ dirt let it soak, and then scrub off. Back to the food, it was okay. I guess I'm just not the biggest Mediterranean food fan, so it wasn't anything great to me. They do give you a lot of food for the price and I had a good bit of leftovers.

I love Cava! I've introduced a few friends to this spot and they equally love it too. It's like the Chipotle for Mediterranean food. The Harissa Avocado bowl is my favorite. I usually top it with the Lemon Herb Tahini opposed to the Harissa sauce. I also add hummus and cabbage to it. And don't forget your free side of pita. I've tried the spicy chicken avocado pita as well and have enjoyed. Service is always pretty good and pretty quick. I just went last week and will continue feeding my craving every week or two in the future. The restaurant is always pretty clean and roomy enough to dine in on most occasions. They also offer delivery which saves the day when you're craving it at home or work and can't leave out!

Great concept: think Mediterranean chipotle. Let me start with saying the food is bomb. I love it love it love it. Service is great too. The workers are very patient when you're ordering and knowledgeable about the food. One girl really went above and beyond and gave me a sample of the two things I was stuck between. It is a little pricey for every day. Maybe like a treat yourself option. They also have no name brand soda options, if that's something that matters to you. Sometimes I just want a Dr. Pepper/Diet Coke.

Rarely do I write bad reviews that have nothing to do with the food, but there's always that one exception. I placed and online order with the Cava location in Elmwood. The app said the order would be ready at 12, which was 30 minutes from when the order was placed. I arrived at 12 and my order wasn't ready. That's fine, there were at least 5 other people waiting for orders so I knew they were backed up. The issue I have is that I waited an additional 20 MINUTES to receive my order! Everyone that walked in at the same time I did and went through the line to order food were almost finished eating by the time I got my food! How long does it actually take to place precooked food in a container? Guess I'll just walk in next time. Way faster! And, the food was cold!

I'm still Carver, you can expect consistency across the board whether it's their food items their service or even the environment it always remains true that fresh food, con service, and clean environment is what you can expect from cava. I went there today to receive the Greek salad with no tomatoes and as usual, it was delicious. I highly recommend, if you are looking for casual, fast, dining fresh Whole Foods bon appétit

Found this on my cava order which was lamb L. I showed her the pieces she told me it was lentil it nearly Broke a tooth

Found this on my cava order which was lamb .I asked for some chicken as I was throwing this away I showed her the pieces she told me it was lentil keep in mind it was hard like a rock it nearly broke a tooth .I went up there with bigger pieces pictured she the stated it may be char. She acted as if I was trying to get something free instead of apologizing she was more concerned with the fact that we ate some of it .never apologized

I wanted to like it so badly. I got a bowl with brown rice and the spicy honey chicken? protein. Once I bit into my food I felt something crunch between my teeth. It felt like plastic, so I spit it out. It was rice. I was relieved that it was food, but every two or three bites, I felt rice grains cracking between my teeth because it was extremely hard.

The food was great. I got the bowl with half chicken and half roasted veggies and lots of toppings. Forgot the names of the drinks but i mixed a pink and green one and it was yummy! So the bad... the line felt like it took forever! And they were out of a few things. So, I'll definitely go back for my Mediterranean food fix, but hopefully on a less crowded day once they've worked out some of the new restaurant kinks.

I used to live near a Cava in another state and am ecstatic that they opened up a location near New Orleans! Ordering: Super similar to Chipotle with a lot more choices to choose from which can be overwhelming if you haven't been before. They do have a selection of preset menu items if you don't want to customize and build your own bowl/salad/pita. For build-your-own, first you're going to pick your base. I went for a bowl with half saffron basmati rice + half supergreens mix. Then you choose up to three dips (hummus, crazy feta, and harissa for me). Then meat/proteins -- I opted to do the mixed option and went half chicken and half falafel. Then unlimited toppings! Get all, some, or none of them. My go-to is "everything except the olives, please!" And last but not least, choose a sauce. I absolutely love their harissa-based condiments so of course I had to go with the spicy harissa vinaigrette. Food: 5/5, DELICIOUS. Usually I have a bit leftover to eat the next day. Already craving Cava again. I will say, back in the day, they used to give out a small side of pita along with your bowl, so I'm not sure if they're done with that or if you just have to ask at the register...? Misc: Looks like other reviewers have had problems with pick-up orders but I had no problems ordering in person. Staff was friendly. Very clean inside. Easy and plentiful parking.

They were doing a lot of unique things here and the food really was quite a step up from the other Byblos locations to the degree that there was zero resemblance. I really enjoyed everything I ate here and while it was more expensive than the other Byblos locations it was of better quality. Unfortunately something has changed as the quality seems to have dropped, the menu has changed and service has really deteriorated. They have a pizza type oven like Shaya and Saba have and they were putting out a similar type bread to those establishments but on my last visit I just got generic pita bread. The experience used to rate a higher price but now things have really declined and the juice is no longer worth the squeeze. I hope my last visit was just an anomaly but I've heard from multiple people that the standard has dropped and the generic pita is the new usual. This was a four star joint and one of the top Middle Eastern joints in the area but sadly that no longer seems to be the case.

The wait staff was very helpful with suggestions and took time to make sure we had what we needed. We ordered falafel for an appetizer and it has just the right texture. Portions are large, so we are glad we split it.

Now, I normally don't do online reviews ever. But the overall experience was so wonderful that I decided to finally give in and leave a review. The small, yet comfortable vibe of the overall restaurant made it very enjoyable to sit down and eat. I felt welcomed in a sort of way, and I was very glad that we were taken in on account of the fact I honestly wasn't wearing that fancy of clothes because I did not know this was a fancy restaurant. I digress, the food itself was impeccable. I personally ordered the prime rib with a loaded baked potato and it was simply superb. The steak was cooked perfectly, the potato had a fantastic mix of toppings, and the two paired together were delightful. I don't get full often, I normally just become not hungry, but this restaurant changed that for me. I ate, and enjoyed, so much food that I couldn't accept another bite, or so I thought. After we had finished our plates, our lovely server, Alicia, asked if we would a desert. I of course asked our lovely server, Alicia, what these deserts could possibly be. In response, our lovely server, Alicia, described each desert in detail. Alicia didn't just read a list, she knew these dishes by heart. It felt like my server was the chef themself and they knew everything there is to know about the boulevard menu. Her exquisite expertise helped me pick the brownie with ice cream. This was probably the best decision I could have ever made. The warm, fudgy brownie paired with the cold, sweet ice cream almost made me cry because it WAS that good. At the end of the meal, Alicia let us enjoy two cups of coffee while taking our plates away. Boulevard truly was the best culinary experience I have had in a while. 10/10 absolutely recommend to anyone on the street. I am VERY much looking forward to coming back soon.

Also, since the Boulevard in Covington was SO GREAT, that this one should be on par with that one. I was wrong. We ordered 2 club sandwiches, one no cheese and one no tomatoes. They were wrong. The fries were cold, and the service was slow. Bu the time replacement fries arrived, we were done eating. Btw, They were not crowded. Once the sandwiches were corrected, we still regretted the orders. They were not good. No idea how 2 locations of the same restaurant can be so different. This location to my understanding has been around much longer than the Covington location, so you'd think they would have it together. But, they do not. We were offered a desert for our inconvenience, and we chose a slice of cheesecake. When it was packaged and presented, it looked as if it had been beat up. No idea why this would be given to a customer in this condition. Not a good look at all. This location is a no go for us from now on. We've tried it 2 or 3 times, and it is never on a good level food wise. Not sure if they have gotten complacent or just don't really care about the taste of the food they serve, but whatever it is needs to be corrected. It's honestly not worth the drive. It was yet again disappointing.
