This charming place in an outdoor mall area seems like it is going to be fast casual, but is actually a charming sit down restaurant. The wait staff was very helpful with suggestions and took time to make sure we had what we needed. We ordered falafel for an appetizer and it has just the right texture. For dinner we split the chicken shawarma with hummus and fries. The waitress had recommended the chicken and she was spot on. It was tender and well seasoned. Portions are large, so we are glad we split it.

The staff were extremely professional and helpful. This is true from the time that we entered the restaurant until the time that we exited the restaurant. The bar was beautiful. The restaurant was extremely clean and inviting. The combination chicken and beef shawarma plate was delicious. I opted for the hummus and rice for my two sides. The hummus was so creamy. Both the chicken and beef were seasoned well. My husband had the mussels. They were so tasty. What a great flavor.

I was a Byblos regular at their Uptown New Orleans location, for many years, until I moved. It was 1 of favorite places to eat. I loved the Lamb entree and pita plate with the olive oil dip. This location is close to where I live now and its been over 10 years since I've been back in a Byblos. It is located within a large shopping plaza, like a small neighborhood with blocks and streets. Once we sat down. It took awhile to get our service rolling. I'd say we waited about 10 mins before anyone came to our table. It wasn't very busy, maybe 4 tables already seated. Once we got our initial order in, drinks and the Feta cheese fingers. Not sure why they called them fingers, they clearly looked like egg rolls. We aren't sure whether we liked them or not. It seemed like an odd array of ingredients. We got our complimentary pita with the olive oil dip. Very bland. Had to add some salt to it for flavor. Our entrees: she got the chicken shwarma wraps with cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. The vegetables she liked. She was really liking the wrap. She has had wraps before and this wasn't her bag of tea. I got the lamb entree. Cooked medium, with hummus and rice pilaf. It must of been a really long time since I last had this entree. It didn't look like I remembered. The rice pilaf was just white jasmine rice? The Lamb itself looked like it was flamed to a crisp. I did like the hummus. I'd say overall, the meal was subpar. The price was definitely not worth what we got. I am a little disappointed. The quality wasn't really what I expected.

Byblos in Metairie serves up Mediterranean goodness with a side of swagger. The corn bisque is silky, sweet, and so comforting it should come with a blanket. The smoked salmon flatbread? Crispy, smoky, and the kind of snack you "accidentally" eat all by yourself. And the Tabbouleh salad? Fresh, vibrant, and just healthy enough to make you feel responsible. If flavor had a passport, Byblos would be stamping it nonstop.

Ok this place is legit Mediterranean food! Growing up Persian I appreciate good quality middle eastern cuisine. Got the chicken kabob with rice and hummus and it was all so fresh and tasty! Prices are very fair for the portion and quality! Definitely will be back!

Wanted to have a nice lunch after dropping my son off to family so decided to try this place as the location caught my eye. They have lots of options on the menu to choose from which is great. The Feta Cheese Fingers were a great choice for an appetizer, the pepper jelly set off all the cheese flavors. When I go to a new restaurant, my goal is to get dishes that I can't make myself or I've never had before anywhere else and this was one of those dishes/appetizers that I'm glad I chose. For an entree, I decided on the $24 Mediterranean pasta which was fresh and flavorful and A LOT of food. I took my leftovers home and felt like I had two meals! The artichoke in it was a good idea. Ambiance was great as we sat outside and the server was cute. She was very helpful with recommendations on what to get for our first time. WILL BE BACK!!

Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Food came out at a reasonable time. The serving sizes were nice and filling. We loved that the pitas arrived hot and puffed up. We got the classic hummus which was also really good. The beef kabob and beef shawarma were okay. We did note that the french fries were heavily salted but it is to our preference so I really liked it. If you aren't a fan of that, I think you should mention it to your server. I don't think they were fresh-cut or made in-house, we didn't mind.

Great happy hour on specialty cocktails all day on Thursdays and on food Monday-Sunday 3-6 pm.

I love this place. Everything is delicious. Their kibbeh was fantastic and the hummus and pita bread just melt in your mouth. I could eat this hummus everyday if I could! Falafel sandwich was great but they could add more fried falafels to the wrap and Brussels sprouts were very tasty! We loved it all. Left soooooo full!

We absolutely loved dining here! The atmosphere is upscale casual, and there is a lot of natural light, which I find refreshing. Saturday lunch with husband. Our server was fantastic, from patience with our questions, to suggestions from the menu and keeping our drinks full and our table bussed and to go items boxed. The spanakopita app was very nice; large portion and appealing to the eye. Husband had the combo kebab with beef and chicken, french fries and fattoush salad. Not a bad item on the plate. Loved that he finally had a fattoush salad. :) My Kafta plate with lamb, hummus and rice pilaf was SO good. Huge portions on both entrees, so there were leftovers. Plus, we had to leave room for dessert. Dessert was an Ashta. If you've never had one, you HAVE to try it. It is shareable dessert; I'm guessing 4 people should eat it, but the 2 of us did the hurtin' on this one. Great service, nice food choices, soothing atmosphere, amazing dessert=Gotta Go.

The food was acceptable. I requested pilaf rice, but it was excessively salty. The manager kindly replaced it with a salad, which was satisfactory. He later confirmed my observation, suggesting they may have added too much salt, as they typically adhere to the recipe. Customer service is always excellent

This is a really good option for Mediterranean food in the area. The food was very tasty, authentic and well portioned. They make the flat bread in house, which is delicious. We had the Mediterranean humus for appetizer and was very flavorful. The bread pudding is out of this world, the baklava was for just OK, maybe because it was served cold. The house old fashion and Sangria were very well made. They have really good specials on drinks for example Tequila Tuesday is $6 margaritas, and on Thursday all drinks are $5 (martinis, old fashioned, cosmopolitan, etc) The place seats big and small parties, and has a patio. If your party is bigger than 4, you may need to request for a special table. Our server Claudia, was bilingual, and very useful with her suggestions.

This location has seating indoor and outdoor. I went on a Saturday and while a good bit of people picked up to go orders, there were only a few people sitting inside eating. When I ordered I tried the Harissa Avocado as my friends say that's something they get. I do not like hummus but said I'd give theirs a try. I asked for that on the side, as wells as, the harissa vinaigrette. The worker said sure and was able to put it in the small containers which I appreciated (I know some places charge for that but they didn't). I told her it was my first time having CAVA and she was helpful. I got their sweet tea and mixed it with regular lemonade. I sat inside and found that it was only a few smaller tables. All the small tables had hard dirt stains on it. It was one that a quick spray and wipe will not take care off. It's one that you need to spray something that targets hard grease stains/ dirt let it soak, and then scrub off. Back to the food, it was okay. I guess I'm just not the biggest Mediterranean food fan, so it wasn't anything great to me. They do give you a lot of food for the price and I had a good bit of leftovers.

Order taken quickly at the counter: gyro wrap w/side of yellow rice, an order of Dolmas (8) and a soda. With tax & tip $34.88. Sat at a booth type table for comfort, only to discover we had to tip toe around the messy floor and I kicked away a ball of something rather than squish it. Husband said wrap was tasty but didn't remember they use a wrap instead of a pita for the gyro sandwich. (I had the gyro on our last visit.) Rice was good. My dolmas, however, were gross. I don't dip them in tzatziki, I typically like the taste. However, today the rice inside them was very, very gooey, as if they sat over the holiday. I ate 2.5 and threw the rest out. Someone came out to ask how things were but apparently didn't notice they were standing on rice. I didn't say anything about the dolmas, because by this time they were in the trash. Took home the remaining portion of the gyro, rice & tzatziki. Asked for a to go box, then asked again for lids for the sauce. Both times I interrupted someone playing on their phone, and the rest of the staff was hanging out talking behind the counter. Really wished they had taken the time to check the dining area.

We had a great experience and already have it on the list of go-tos when we are back in the city, as we return fairly often. First off, that bread. My gosh, I could have just sat for an hour and eaten it alone. I love that it just keeps coming too - we never once had to ask for more; by the time we were finishing up the pieces there, another set was delivered. Heaven. We had not one bad thing. The ikra was the surprise of the salatims/dips - so good - and the muhammara was excellent as well. That fried chicken hummus was perfect - so creamy and a bit of a different texture than most other hummus, but it worked. We tried the lamb kebabs and crispy halloumi - both of which were solid; however, when they say small plates, they mean small. I thought the serving sizes were a bit tiny. Nonetheless, we were full before even making it to the larger dinner plates and settled on the chocolate tart and knafeh cheesecake for dessert; honestly, I could have done without both. They weren't bad, but they weren't very flavorful to me. Definitely a 5-star, but if it wanted to be a 10-star, I would say a bit larger portions, better desserts, and more friendly service (he did his job but didn't really seem like he wanted to be there). Go now!
