There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The atmosphere is very small town feel, which is great if you like that type of environment. The servers are all fairly solid, even the woman most reviews complain about. She likes to talk, but she is always accurate in her ordering and I prefer to have somewhat of an honest conversation with my server, not the normal bland small talk. The only real issue is that menu items can be hit or miss. If something is good, it's almost always amazing like the pancakes or chicken fried steak. If it isn't good one time, I wouldn't recommend grabbing it again, like the catfish with very little flavor or the fries that taste unsalted. Overall though, most items on the menu are top tier!

I calmly explained that the sticker clearly said "3 cream," but she continued to argue and speak disrespectfully. There was no reason for that kind of attitude, especially when I was being polite and simply asking for my order to be corrected. I even said thank you at the end, and she completely ignored me. Customer service like this reflects poorly on the business. Employees should be able to communicate respectfully and handle simple mistakes without being rude.
