Cattitude has provided excellent service for our cats over the years. Edvard has gone above and beyond providing thoughtful and caring service for our pets, especially our senior kitty who requires medication. They are reliable and I know that our pets are in good hands when we are away. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

Ecellent service, I have a senior kitty who needs special care and Cattitude Street Strutters has gone beyond my expectations!

Had a great experience with Brook-lynn! She took great care of our pets. She was very responsive, detailed, and followed all of our instructions. Will definitely be using Cattitude again in the future and highly recommend! read more

We have hired Cattitude to feed our two cats on many occasions over a 5-year span while living in Downtown Brooklyn and Carroll Gardens. The company has been fantastic. The Cattitude staff are consistently reliable and responsive. When we are away we always look forward to receiving our daily photo updates from the sitter. Doreen specifically has been our primary coverage for the past couple of years and it is obvious that she loves animals and treats our pets well. Plus, Cattitude has a convenient online booking portal. I would highly recommend to anyone needing pet sitting services in the area. read more

I have used Cattitude a few times now to cat sit while I've been out of town. I was initially nervous leaving my shy cat alone for the first time but their team has really put my mind at ease. You get a notification through their website/portal when they check in and check out, and they send a photo + note for each visit which is so thoughtful and something I look forward to while I'm away. The portal is also easy to use and very convenient for booking. I will definitely continue to use Cattitude as they're very reliable and their prices are fair. They make sure that they have everything they need beforehand to take care of your pet the way you need. I can't recommend them enough! read more

My dog sitting plans fell through and I didn't want to return to my previous dog boarder if I could avoid it. Quite serendipitously, that same day a friend recommended Taryn, as she had cared for her cat for many years. I immediately reached out to Taryn and I could not be happier with my dog Milo's stay at Doggitude! Taryn and Sam not only love dogs but they understand them and are highly attuned to their individual behaviors and needs. The facility is BEAUTIFUL - modern and bright and clean - such a welcome relief from other doggy day cares I've used that are dark and have a lingering smell of cleaning products. And the backyard! I was so happy my dog could get fresh air daily and play with other dogs untethered in a safely enclosed area outside. Doggitude is my first choice for doggy day care and boarding and I recommend them highly. read more

Cattitude took care of my Nishi for four years and I never had to worry that she was in good hands. She loved our sitter, Doreen, from the first moment they met--and this was a cat with serious anti-human tendencies! When Nishi died last spring, I received the kindest messages of condolences from her Cattitude friends. Plus some of the best pictures I have of her are from her Cattitude visits. If and when I decide to live with another kitty, this is the business I'll come back to for sure. Thank you!!! read more

Amazing dog walking and pet sitting service! Fair prices, great with the dog and dependable. My dog (Diesel) loves them. We get consistent walkers, who also stay at our apartment to watch the dog (or can take him to their place as well if needed) read more

We have hired cat-sitters from Cattitude for nearly a year and I can't say enough about the service, the company, the employees - I would not hesitate to recommend them for anything. I was driven to write a review because of a recent, truly heartening experience. Our beloved primary sitter Khrystyna is starting a new chapter in her life and wrapping up her time at Cattitude. Taryn relayed this to me in the most thoughtful email and as a fellow manager, I was so moved to witness how much she cares about her employees and despite losing our senior cat's favorite sitter, i felt even more loyal to Cattitude, Taryn and team. I hope to work with them more many years to come. read more

These people are the bomb! I'm new to my Brooklyn neighborhood and had to find both cat sitting and dog walking for my furry crew. Enter Taryn and her super hero cat sitter/dog walker Alex. My babies were well taken care of. Alex slept over and took care of everyone. I came home relaxed and happy knowing all is well. I got daily reports from Alex with pics, which was great to receive. Taryn is super responsive scheduling and any payment info. Thanks guys for providing a needed resource! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Brooklyn Cattitude. We have two resident cats and often have a rotating foster to round out our crew. Us humans recently took a trip outside of Brooklyn just to escape city life for a few days. I was anxious to leave our kitty kiddos after having not really left the apartment amidst the COVID pandemic for months. When I reached out, Taryn was responsive and quick to schedule us for a meet and greet before we would leave town. Enter Dave. Oh how I didn't know how much I needed Dave! Never before have I met such a doting cat sitter. I honestly feel like Dave loves our kitties as much as we do after just a few days. (And, for what it's worth, Dave got our foster to come out of her shell more in two days than we did in two weeks!) Dave was so communicative - sent us tons of pictures and videos of updates. He did overnights for us which meant he stayed with our crew, offering feedings at night and in the morning. And, I don't know how it's possible, but I *think* my apartment is more clean than when I left!? Already, I've sent Dave's name to several of my kitty-kiddo having friends. At this point, I'm wondering - can I even book a vacation without first checking to make sure Dave is available?! He's just THAT good. read more

Weeks of furious Googling to find the best sitter around led me to Taryn and I'm so glad it did. As an anxious cat parent I was starting to label my upcoming trip as My First Time Leaving My Cat rather than my first actual vacation in two years. Well folks, I survived thanks to Taryn & my sitter Quiana. Each visit notes emanate with the care they have for my pet and for me as well, as I had some very last minute changes and requests. Their communication with me was always welcoming and never terse, adding to the experience as a whole. I would give them ten out of five stars!!! read more

Really great and convenient pet sitting service! Easy to book online, lots of options for the type of visit (quick in and out, or a longer visit to give your pets company, etc), and all of the sitters I've had for my two cats have been super nice and amazing folks. Would absolutely recommend. Heads up - they'll have to make a house visit before your first booking to get the lay of the land, so plan ahead accordingly! read more

There's no words to describe the care provided by Taryn and her amazing team. This year I received the worst news that any cat mom could, that my 10 yr old cat has severe heart disease. Hearing that my baby is dying and has 1 - 6 months left to live literally crushed my spirit and my world. I let my cat's main babysitter, Chinyere, know about his situation and she immediately shared the news with Taryn and David who then took action without me even asking. Not only did they form a support team for my cat, checking on him day and night after he was released from the ICU, but they supported me mentally and emotionally. I honestly do not think Ziggy and I would have made it through this critical week without Taryn and her team. They helped me to transition him into home care, where he is now resting comfortably and has the potential to live longer than 6 months because of the intense TLC he received. They truly care about animals, recognizing that our 'pets' are sentient beings and our family members. I don't think there's any better service than that. A million yelp stars would not be enough to rate Brooklyn Cattitude and I am so glad that I partnered with them! read more

I searched far and wide for a cat sitting service in Brooklyn before being recommended Brooklyn Cattitude by my vet. Working with Taryn and her team (especially Emily) has been amazing. They're so attentive and put all my cat mum worries at ease with their detailed notes on my cats routines and desire to get to know my furballs' personalities. After being gone for ten days this month I came home to two very happy, well-cared for cats who were so soft from all the pets and attention they'd received from Emily whose years of experience with veterinary medicine and sweet nature made her the perfect fit for my pets. When trips have gotten extended Taryn has gone out of her way to accommodate my schedule and make sure my pets were taken care of, and this company has such a family vibe. I would highly recommend this company for all pet parents as it's amazing services for a very reasonable price. read more

When I need a cat sitter to watch Snowball I immediately head to Cattitude Street Strutters. Taryn is always quick to respond to my request, the website is easy to manage, the service is top-notch and the cat sitters are always professional. My cat has been taken care of for over 60 days total by Mike from this place. The longest sitting period was over two weeks with zero problems whatsoever. Taryn is very professional and quick to get back to you on anything. My favorite part of this place is the ability to book and pay online through their portal. Their prices for a 30 min sit are very reasonable at $27. They even sent me a little coupon for one free sit over the holidays! read more

If you're reading this, you're probably already aware of my cat lady status. And although I have been trying to get to the point where I can just stay in my apartment 24/7/365 with only my 14 cats for company...it's still early in the process. As of this moment, I only have the one cat, and I still do occasionally go outside. When I have to go outside for longer than a day or so, I need someone to come in and take care of Batman.* Obviously he's the smartest and most fantastic kitten in the entire world, but he prefers not to open his cans of food himself (he feels it's beneath him). So we hire Cattitude to handle some business when we are away. I must say, they are pretty great. I didn't realize when we first got the little guy that I would worry about him so much, but Taryn and Adrian have put our minds at ease when we travel. They are sweet, they are reliable, and they are experts. They deal with his strange and psychotic tendencies quite well, and they even took it completely in stride when they had to deal with Batman's toilet-training apparatus (which is more than I can say for all of our friends/family). I admit, we did have a scheduling issue once (they erred on the side of coming in too often, which is definitely much better than the alternative), and sometimes they forget to send me a picture during their visits. But these are minor issues. The fact that they sometimes send pictures at all is wonderful, and I'm pretty sure visual confirmation that he's alive isn't absolutely necessary every single visit.** Anyway, if you leave your pet in Cattitude's hand, you can rest easy. _____________ *To be clear, he's not a bat, or a man. He's a cat. **Even though, as a crazy cat lady, I'm contemplating camera installation to make sure he's doing just fine while we're gone. read more

This review is long overdue--I've used Cattitude for years to ensure that my cat is taken care of whenever I leave the city, whether it's for a few days or longer, and I cannot overstate how happy I have been with them all this time. They are by far the best cat sitting service iIve ever used--their prices are very reasonable, they provide excellent service, and they genuinely care about the animals they sit. I've been able to take many worry free trips knowing that my cat was being expertly cared for by the folks here back home in Brooklyn. The peace of mind and care they provide is truly exceptional. I highly recommend them for all your cat sitting needs! read more

I have used Taryn's service since getting our two cats back in 2014. Her sitters are always extremely responsive and caring. We never have any hesitations about going on a long trip and asking Brooklyn Cattitude to take care of our cats, even after adding a third one this winter. This is simply the best service of its kind in Brooklyn. read more

I have an endless amount of positive comments for this business. In 20 years of having cats, I had never used a professional cat sitting service, so it took me a long time to research and find a business that I felt comfortable with. Thanks to glowing reviews found in a local facebook group, I decided to try Cattitude. From the moment I spoke to the owner, Taryn, I knew we would be in good hands. She and her team are professional, knowledgable (taught me some tricks to administer meds, suggested treats I had never heard of before), caring, friendly, and RELIABLE. They have a client portal for scheduling, tracking, and invoicing, and many different levels of service depending on your pet's needs. They have a policy that includes a meet & greet before committing to caring for an animal to make sure that it's a good fit. And their cat sitters are wonderful people. For the 10 days we were away, Dave took care of our cat and texted me photos and videos of our cat, spent time playing with and talking to my cat, said wonderful things about my cat- I could tell that he takes his work very seriously and really enjoys what he does for both the pets and their humans. I will absolutely book again with Cattitude and am so grateful for this extra peace of mind- in the future, it will be one fewer trip planning stressor to contend with. read more

Taryn and her team were referred to us by friends about a year ago and I just want to pay it forward- we cannot recommend BK Cattitude & Street Strutters enough! From the initial 'meet and greet' for our dog, I was impressed with the team's level of communication and professionalism. They asked all the right questions and even accompanied me on one of our walks, just to get a feel for routes, etc. Since then, we've loved the level of communication and ease of scheduling / payment (all online). The highlight of our day is a walk update, complete with pictures and witty report of what went down. Again, we can't recommend Taryn and her team enough :) Evie (our lab) absolutely loves her walks with Alex. read more

I've used Cattitude for a number of years and overall had a positive experience with each cat sitter who looked after my two cats. The Brooklyn Cattitude team is the best! We have just returned from our first vacation "post" COVID and were worried about our fur kids who have become used to us home all day. Dave C kept us at ease with great videos and notes every day as well as ensuring to engage with both of our cats. Our shy and not so friendly cat loved him by the end. We had very happy kitties upon our return. read more

If I could do a negative # of stars I would. I just came home from a weekend away and found that nobody had come to feed my cat!!!!!! Literally no water, no food, no visit. wtf. I used Cattitude for Thanksgiving and the services were adequate. The sitter followed instructions well. Ditto to what everyone else is saying. We've been using this service for over a year now, and they are downright awesome. Collyn, our sitter, is top notch. From giving our older cat his meds, to keeping the litter box clean, to making sure we receive texts and pics with daily updates, we know our cats are in good hands. Booking and paying online is also super easy, and so far we've had no trouble booking last-minute requests - like when we suddenly realize we need to get far away from this city. read more

I would highly recommend Brooklyn Cattitude! Our cat sitter Doreen was soo awesome and on top of everything. We have two very "unique" cats who can be a handfull, but Doreen was very patient with them and kept me updated on their behavior and progress every day. COME HERE IF YOU EVER NEED A PET SITTER. Taryn and her team are amazing, thoughtful, and probably the most professional group of people I have ever met in the business. When I first emailed Taryn, I voiced my concerns to her about my two kitties and she paired me with Alex and it was a match made in heaven. Alex is 10000% a cat whisperer and all of her updates bring a smile to our face. Our kitties never really have issues with Alex around and if there is anything semi-serious she would let us know and give us updates if its resolved afterwards. As a person who used to have anxiety about leaving my two cats alone (they can get into not fun fights especially when we are away) I can say that I no longer stress about it and feel so confident and relaxed when I go on vacation. read more

I just had another great experience with Brooklyn Cattitude. I was out of the country for the past 10 days and I felt completely comfortable knowing that my fur babies were taken care of. I've used Brooklyn Cattitude for 7 years and I can attest that they provide fantastic services. I always rest easy when I'm away knowing that my fur babies are in good hands. While gone, my sitter provides me with thorough updates about my cats (including photos/videos)! They are always reliable and easy to book through their website! When one of my cats had special medical requirements, Cattitude was still able to provide excellent service and make sure that she was fully taken care of while I was gone. We're always a little anxious to leave our cat home alone, but the sitters are super responsive, very sweet, and make us feel totally at ease by sending updates, videos, and photos from each visit. Besides running a professional business, Taryn is a wonderful person. I would leave my animal in her care again and recommend this business to anyone who needs a sitter for their baby.
