She not only brings her breadth of training knowledge to the table, but she takes the time to get to know you and your dog. She actually listens when you say something is or isn't working and then comes up with new ideas based on your individual pup instead of just giving general advice. She's helped me work with my pup on resource guarding, fear aggression, leash reactivity, and more. I've made more progress with my dog in the year+ working with Kellie than I did in the first two years I had her.

Kellie doesn't just love dogs for the sake of their being "dogs". She is the glorified epitome of a veterinarian in the form of a dog walker. Truthfully, I say that without exaggerating. As someone that has accompanied her on her dog walks (so that I will have reference when I am a dog owner) I was impressed with her knowledge of the animal, the breed, and the preferences of the owners in accordance. Some people only care about their job as a paycheck. Kellie cares about her job because she cares about dogs. And she'll care about your dog just as much as she cares about her own. Is there anything more you should ever want in a dog walker? No.

She was instantly in tune with our dog but _also_ really great as a collaborator with us humans, as we worked through our dog's issues with leash reactivity. She really listened to what we were going through, and she helped us with concrete action steps, resources, and a calming, fun presence. Our dog has become a completely new pup in the past three months, and he is so much better behaved now when we walk him, which makes our lives less stressful. I also feel comfortable reaching out any time with questions, as we continue working with our dog. Thank you, Jessica!

Renee was very informative and extremely helpful with the situation. We did a private session where she showed me various methods that have proven very effective in helping him with his issues. I also signed up for two leash aggression group sessions, so I could see how he did with other dogs in the class. Renee explained to us how important it was to get the training method right and be consistent for as long as it takes. Zig is doing much better. He has his moments, but many times it's because I didn't catch and correct the behavior in time and I know we are still at the beginning of our little journey. I am confident in Renee's advice because I've seen it work and I know that eventually, with time, Ziggy will be as confident as I am. My favorite thing about working with Renee is that it is obvious she knows and understands dogs and she shares her knowledge in a very unique, funny manner. It's also obvious that she cares. After both the private session and the group sessions, Renee was wonderfully responsive to emails/questions, always inquired about Ziggy's progress and offered additional suggestions if certain things didn't seem to be working. Ziggy and I are both thankful we found her and will definitely be in touch with her for some of the other doggie classes she offers!!!

When Emma was less than a year old she was running to and from the neighbor's house where I was chasing after her constantly. The final straw was the day that she came in contact with her future boyfriend Tully boy. I did not know that Tully boy was harmless at the time but it scared me enough that I ran all the way home and went right for the Yellow Pages. LITERALLY. True story. It was then that I had an opportunity to talk to Chris and about a week later he installed the invisible fence by Dog Guard around my 2-acre property. He also installed the monitor in the flower beds and in one room inside (where I fed the cats). The training only needed to be done once because the second time Emma wanted no part of it... She took one look at Chris and ran in the other direction.... Which means she got it from GetGo LOL not that I'm laughing really because it's sad to see your dog get zapped for the first time. But she never got zapped again. Once those yellow flags are up the dog wants no part of trying to go through them. Emma would always stay 5 to 10 feet away. Needless to say she never went through it except one time when I was on my bicycle and drove past the end of the driveway down the street. At that time though she didn't have the collar on. In her defense she was just probably a nervous wreck not wondering where I was going so she took the risk. She never wore the collar after about the first 6 months. She didn't need to. Most dogs don't. The first thing I will be doing is calling Chris to install another invisible fence after I get my next home and before I get my next dog. Note: over the years of having my dog fence I needed revisions from time to time because when I was cutting the hedges I sometimes accidentally cut the wires and Chris would have to come back. So really, he kind of became a family friend and a trustworthy source.

Some time after the fence was put in someone accidentally damaged it, Chris was quick to respond and fix the fence for me. I definitely recommend working with them!

She did not have any problems (and continues to be a wonderful dog and that's probably because we sent her to James). She had basic commands down. After James, she became excellent at multiple commands. She would sit at her bowl for hours if you don't release her (by verbal command). You can leave her with steak in the next room and won't eat it if you don't release her. You get the picture - James knows what he is doing and will set you, and your pup, up for success. He was very thorough in explaining what to expect and how to continue her training at home. We could not be happier. Our pup is also happy, and she loved James. When we brought her back for boarding a couple nights she couldn't wait to hang out with James. We had to save up to send her, and it was worth every penny. We would do it again. Highly, highly recommend. For any pup!
