My family grew by one when we recently brought home Hope from Bonita Havanese. We did extensive research on breeders. We wanted a Havavese as we lost our beloved Havenese last year. We were not looking for a replacement , as that is impossible, we were looking for a new Havenese. Bonita Havenese met our criteria: professional, competent and caring of her babies. There aren't a ton of reviews online for Havanese breeders in the New York area so I thought it was important to write one to speak about our excellent experience with Bonita Havanese. From our first phone call, Pat put our minds at ease. One of the points that stuck in our mind was that she told us that our pup wouldn't come home with us until he was ready. She isn't trying to rush puppies out of her care so she can move on to the next litter. She walked us through the process every step of the way. I have 2 beautiful, senior havanese sweeties from Bonita Havanese. They are now 11 and 14 years old, but still retain their silly, playful puppy energy. I have had them since puppyhood, and they have enjoyed good health and zero behavioral issues from day one. Although, slowing down slightly, they still make me laugh daily with their antics.
