    Pizza Birria

Went to meet family for a quick bit to eat, decided to give this place a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pizza birria and man was it good. The flavor was amazing and the serving size was massive, the chips and salsa was a pretty much basic Mexican restaurant appetizer. The only downside I would say was the water had a very dirty taste to it when I was drinking it. The service itself was average we were the only ones in at the time and it didn't take long for our food to come out.

Ordered takeout and it was delish. Got the birria pizza and the beef and bean smothered burrito. SO MUCH FOOD. But both were great.

$6.29 for a reasonably sized chorizo burrito and a cup of coffee. Not too bad! The burrito is excellent. I do not like a "potato-forward" breakfast burrito and this lives up to that, while still having a nice greasy chorizo, some green chili (this is a key component that makes for a great burrito) and just the right bit of kick. The coffee has an irritating cinnamon flavor so I added some half and half to sort of offset that. Anyway, good place with loads of parking and it's on the right side of the street if you are commuting into town from down south--stop in for a breakfast burrito to start your day!

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito. It tasted a little like Taco Bell meat, which was... surprising, but delicious! I was not a fan of the cheese in the burrinto (melted concession stand nacho cheese). I'll ask to hold that next time. And while I came here specifically for a burrito, there were tons of menu items I really want to come back to try! Fast and friendly service. Clean restaurant with fun decor. All good stuff coming from this spot.

I was excited to see another Mexican good option in the area so I dropped in on a Saturday night. When I arrived, there were a couple of small parties, otherwise not extremely busy. Was able to seat myself and a pick a spot. Let's start with the good: The restaurant is small but has plenty of four-top tables. Parking can be found either on the street or the lot in the back which is shared by the neighboring establishments. Very clean, bright and colorful. The menu has lots of options, including vegetarian. No, your may not look exactly like the photo on the wall/in the menu, but if you've ever been to this kind of restaurant before you'll expect that. They're just helpful visuals to give you an idea. The salsa they serve with the basket of chips was also very good, I'd easily eat that alone. The meh: My entree. While four enchiladas for $13.99 is a good deal, they were pretty mediocre. Rice and red sauce were good, beans didn't seem too different from what I could heat from a can, and the chicken just seemed off and there was little flavor other than chicken. I ended up eating the tortillas and leaving the chicken behind. The bad: The service was pretty disappointing. The young girl who was servicing the tables was very nice but she seemed a bit flustered, and I didn't have much interaction with her other than when I ordered, when I got my food, and then when I asked for the bill. Didn't come by to ask how everything was, refill my water, or just feel attentive in general. One other party of two people came in during my time, so it wasn't super busy. I think she was new to being a server and learning the ropes, but there were two other people there in addition to the cooks, so it's not like she was alone. I didn't desperately need anything (I was going to ask for sour cream if she had come back), though I did sit awkwardly waiting for the bill. Kind of ended up feeling like I was being an inconvenience to the restaurant. The reviews off Yelp for this location and for the one in Elizabeth are mostly 4-5 stars so I feel sad to leave this as the first review here, but I really did walk away wanting more from my experience. With their extensive menu and reasonable pricing, I want to give them another shot, but I won't be rushing back.

Bright, colorful Mexican Café, with a Dia de las Muertes theme. Very charmingly decorated. But hey, you want to know about the food, right? It's excellent! The chips and salsa are bomb, mostly because of the salsa. The chips are probably not made on site But the salsa just kicks booty. I have the enchiladas and my husband have the Carne Asada. We loved them both. It's highly worthy of you to check out.

I ordered chips and salsa and what I got was chips and red sauce. The tiramisu wasn't very good either.

Love this little place, very good fresh food, the beans and rice are one of the best I have had. Good green chili and nice waitstaff.

We had arrived just in time for Happy Hour- Monday-Friday, 3-5pm . Perdida has a worthwhile Happy Hour as several main menu appetizers as well as cocktails are discounted. I selected the classic marg to sip on. It was a good, standard margarita for $6. We also had to try the mini chile rellenos. These were tasty and the dipping sauce paired well with the chilies and cheese. Perdida was good. I think I'll revisit to try some main dishes. The fajitas smelled amazing!

We over heard some people at the bar say that it was too loud in the seating area so they moved to the bar. I also really like the menu, however, I really don't like it when restaurants charge for chips and salsa. We got the trio (salsa, guac, & queso) so it felt worth it. They have a small brunch menu on Sundays but also have their full menu. I had huevos rancheros the only thing I didn't like was that the eggs were very over/under easy & the whole dish got cold fast. I wish it was served on a hot plate or the eggs were cooked longer so they were warmer. Service was ok, we ate at the bar so I think the focus was more on having our drinks filled vs asking how the food was etc. And it got busy after we arrived so the bartender was busy. The house margaritas were great! We'll definitely come back for happy hour & to try other things on the menu.
