When I got engaged last year I knew one of the things I really wanted to do was design my own invitation suite. I know how to use Adobe products and am pretty good at graphic design so I created all the printed items I just didn't know where to get them printed. I heard about CatPrint on a wedding board blog post so I cautiously tried them out and I'm really glad that I did! I have used CatPrint for my save the dates as well as my entire invitation suite and they have all come out perfectly! The paper options they have are great and they now offer gold foil printing so I used that on my invitation and RSVP cards to add some extra bling. You can choose to have them send you free hard copy proofs of your order and every time I did that the proofs arrived even earlier than they originally quoted me. I had an issue with the last set of proofs where I forgot to set some items to a "full bleed" and their customer service was extremely helpful and showed me the best way to resubmit my items. Shout out especially to Matt S. in customer service who was always helpful and responded to my emails very quickly. Cat Print = amazing. After two botched rounds of wedding invitation printing with Zazzle, I discovered Cat Print. They are so patient, communicative, affordable and wonderful. Do not use this for art! I had to go back and forth with their team and was told that if I wanted to print some of my images in the same size of 8.5x11 but in different quantities I would need to create a new "job". Of course each "job" has a charge to it. I had to submit some of my work multiple times just so I could have it done in 1 "job". I submitted multiple designs multiple times, then was contacted by their team saying that I had to re-submit all the designs because they were not in 8.5x11 I told them that if there are large borders due to the images not being in the 8.5x11, it's fine since we have been doing that when we made the prints locally for the last 5 years. They said that I needed to adjust each image individually (137). They stated that the images would be stretched. I asked if they could just have them auto adjusted they said that their system does not let them and that if they did it, they would have to charge me a design fee per image. I had also ordered some prints in a separate "job" in 11x17 but they said that those were OK since there was less of them they adjusted them for me (how nice). I asked them to cancel the 8.5x11 prints and just send me the 11x17, since it was such a damn hassle to make the adjustments for the 8.5x11. When I got the prints they were all stretched. They were not adjusted like they said they were. This might be a good service for making wedding cards but if your working as an artist in a artist alley pack some aspirin. Their website doesn't actually let you see what the art is going to look like in the end. My Office depot prints came out too dark, but at least the friggen shape of the art was correct. read more

I've used Cat Print for several projects recently when I discovered how high quality cost effective their prints are. My clients have been thrilled with their invitations from elegant wedding invites printed on linen to birth announcements printed with full color photographs. I would not recommend Catprint. I used them for printing my wedding invitiations because they had gotten great reviews and have great prices. Here are the reasons why I would not recommend them: 1. I submitted my order requesting that a hard copy proof be sent to me. After a week went by and no hard copy proof had arrived, I contacted their customer service. A representative told me that I had not received the proof because my order had been canceled due to a problem with the document. 2. I submitted my order a second time, after which I received the hard copy proof in a timely manner. However, the printing quality of the graphic was poor and the color was several shades darker than it had appeared on my computer. 3. I submitted my order a third time, this time lightening the color. The customer service representative told me there was a problem with the image. 4. After several tries at resending the image, changing the dpi and trying every possible thing to get the image correct, they finally sent me the hard copy proof. However, when it arrived, the image contained splotches and looked worse than the first one. 5. Basically, I was told that no matter what I did, the image was still going to come out with terrible looking splotches on it. 6. All of this back and forth was pretty much a waste of two solid months of absolutely nothing happening and I ended up canceling my order and going with Zazzle.com who got the order right the first time and prints everything at great quality. read more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star but zero stars was not an option. I have tried to reach their customer service for a week with leaving 3 phone messages as apparently they were too busy to take any phone calls, plus I have sent 3 emails and no response. Now it is too late to do anything about our wedding programs unless they out of the kindness of their hearts reprint them and send 2 day delivery but I know that is not going to happen since they can't even return a phone call!
