While it isn't made using a fully traditional Korean method, it was absolutely delicious -- easily the best kimchi fried rice I've had in the past few years. We also ordered their signature pork and potato stew. It was excellent; the chili flavour was smooth, and every ingredient was wonderfully seasoned. Our server was incredibly polite and friendly, and we were happy to leave a tip for them. We plan to come back tomorrow evening, but unfortunately, our server told us they might not be working then. My only other small complaint was the song-search keyboard. Instead of a standard QWERTY keyboard, the letters are arranged alphabetically, which made searching for songs a little challenging at first. That said, there were PLENTY of songs to choose from across all different genres, so everyone was able to find something they wanted to sing. The best indication of how much fun we had? We ended up extending our time because nobody was ready to leave! Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend K Live Karaoke for a fun night out with friends. If you do try it- and I understand why you'd want to- avoid the vegan bulgogi. I just have a sneaking suspicion that's what did me in. But the menu said it was gluten free, so--?? Also, go sometime when they aren't too busy. We were there on a Saturday night and I think they might have only had two servers on (with multiple table support staff). There was at least one large party, plus the regular tables, and two servers were not enough. And the menu is so diverse and colorful no matter what I order it's always good. I highly recommend this restaurant and I highly recommend Daisy as a server so please visit you won't regret it.
