Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. This is true grassroots community gathering and beautiful accoustics, friendly volunteers and a respectful audience treated to up and coming and successful touring musicians. It feels like you are going to a dinner party as you meander through the neighborhood with neighbors toward the home like venue. The seating is very clean and comfortable. It's a no frills wholesome experience that feels almost speakeasy like. No concessions or parking , just neighborly goodness and talent. Grab yourself a bite before you go and enjoy your night.

The house and grounds can probably accommodate up to 150 people. Parking at the house is limited, so it's best to plan on offering valet parking for your guest. There is ample parking at the bottom of the hill under the Magnolia bridge. Inside the house, you'll find several rooms, including a bar and fireside room, as well as a large dining room with a dance floor. Outside, a circular driveway around the house offers access to an amazing view looking north over the bay. You'll look past the marina where the cruise ships dock to downtown Seattle and Mt.
