    We hosted a college reception here and it is such a cute establishment. Our nametag/swag table was on the ground floor along with a coat rack so guests can hang their outerwear. The reception was on the second floor (keep in mind there is a flight of stairs and no elevator). Our guests had such a great time mingling with one another. The staff was great. Shout out to Liz and Nate for putting this together for us. I was told parking is a bit tricky but there are multiple lots in the surrounding area if you're willing to walk a little. I'd definitely recommend Cathedral to those who need an event space. I will definitely keep Cathedral in mind for future events.

    In my humble opinion, Cathedral is Ballard's best-kept secret. But I don't anticipate that lasting for long. It's a gorgeous space, ready for your next event. There is exposed brick, two story-space, plenty of natural light upstairs, and an incredibly convenient location in Ballard. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was. Beyond the features and amenities, the Cathedral staff I worked with was incredibly helpful. Nate was straightforward and prompt in answering all of our questions before the event. Day-of, he was available, helpful, adaptable, and quick to jump in. He made our jobs SO easy. We used the space for a community outreach event but I can see this venue being used for so many different types of events.

    We had our wedding here in August and could not have been more happy with our experience. Nate and his team went above and beyond to keep us in the loop with every up and down, twist and turn happening due to covid, was responsive to every message, and talked us down from the proverbial ledge more than once! We are so thankful for his support. The venue itself is gorgeous, and right in the middle of downtown Ballard- so picturesque. Nate and his staff lit hundreds of candles all over the space for us and it was magical. He worked with all our vendors both ahead of time and on the day of the wedding, helped us figure out sound system questions (side note: amazing built in sound system!) and let us access the space before the wedding numerous times when we were trying to get logistics figured out. He jumped in at the end to help us get stuff out of the space and even let us leave our kegs in their back fridge for a few days so we could figure out pickup! (THANK YOU!!) We brought in outside catering and it was so easy for them- bars were ready to go, lots of space and options for food setup... again, so many details that could have been complicated, but weren't because of the attention and preparedness of the venue. Also, they donate their profits to charity and you get to pick the charity!! Amazing. This place is a gem. If you're on the fence about having an event here, just do it. You won't be sorry. After our wedding our friends have been trying to figure out a way to rent the space once a year for a party, just because. That's how great it was and how much fun we had! Thank you, Nate and team. We could not be more grateful.

    This was an amazing space to rent! The host Nate was so professional, helpful, and nice! More than I could of ever expected! I went to see the space a few days before the event and it looked even better than the photos! So spacious and perfect for the amount of guests we had (around 30-35). I would recommend this space for anything from a wedding reception to a business party. 15/10! I would go back in a heartbeat :)

    Cathedral is such a great venue!! It has everything you need for a great party/event! We had great bartenders, and ice sculpture which was amazing and awesome comedian and the cathedral helped organize many aspects of the event and made it seamless!!!

    Gorgeous new place on the block!!…read more Stunning new event space right in south lake union/ downtown with sweeping lake union views. Views alone were worth a trip or 4!! Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! And that Photo Booth: all are essential part of throwing an epic event. All events should be this fun!! I guess they will be if you throw them here: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, sweet 16th. I wouldn't mind coming here for a photoshoot: hello contents!!Or just a fun anything event.Did I mention the views?? Ahh the possibilities!!!

    Rented the space for a company offsite for 2 days. Atmosphere has great views, facilities, and…read moremanagement. The team had multiple vendor suggestions that all worked perfectly. The space looks newly renovated and had all of the amenities we needed. Can't wait to book again!
