Overall, not bad, but also had hoped we could hang out and just talk to friends. We left earlier than we thought, but a decent lunch, on a beautiful day. The bartenders and servers know all the locals which is evident every time me and my coworkers stop in here for happy hours or for dinner. They still give us the attention we need for drink refills and food orders. For drinks, it's mainly beer although they have hard liquor available here. I always stick with Miller Lite since it's cheap and they bring it out quick. As for food, it's mainly burgers and bar eats. The appetizers such as the wings, chips n queso, fried jalapenos, and pretzel bites w/ beer cheese are our favorites. Meanwhile, they do good burgers here which are a favorite amongst the team. Each day will have food specials such as half priced appetizers and $1 wings. Check the menu out for the full details. It's a great place to watch sports and grab drinks/eats or catch live music if it's available. This is part of our rotation whenever we're in Lufkin.

One needs to review national, or international, chains on the ease of ordering and receiving food. There is an app for Pizza Hut. The interface is decent. Stopped by Coop's on a Saturday night around 7 pm, and the place was completely empty except for…read moreone table finishing up. I ordered the Double Clucker for the variety. It normally comes with their house sauce, but I added the house‑made ranch since people on Google were raving about it. If you choose any heat level, it defaults to Nashville style breading; Coop's Classic is reserved for kids meals or no‑heat tenders. They asked if I wanted to swap the fries for something else. I asked what counted as an even exchange, and the only option was coleslaw--which the Double Clucker already comes with--so that made no sense whatsoever. I stuck with the fries. Oddly, the meal doesn't include a drink, so I added an Oreo milkshake since that also had good reviews. The staff was very friendly, and the milkshake came out first and fast. They served it to my table in the empty dining room. Flavor was fine, but it didn't come with the cherry shown in the photos and included in the menu description. Worse yet, it was extremely watery--super runny, not cold, and definitely not "Frosty" as advertised. See my videos. Big disappointment. When the food arrived, the tender itself was great--moist and flavorful. The mild heat level barely registered for me, but the ranch dip was better than the house sauce dip. The coleslaw didn't do it for me. It lacked flavor, and the cabbage pieces were cut way too large. Lastly, the fries. Oh boy. Not refrigerator cold, but definitely cool. Not warm, not hot--just... cool. And ack. Overall, I can only recommend the tenders. They do sell them à la carte for $4 and change, and those are the only thing worth getting that I tried. The sides and the milkshake were just a huge letdown.
