I returned to the store almost immediately with the packaging expecting a simple replacement, but the owner was extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Instead of resolving the issue, he tried to shift blame and gaslight the situation, even though the device clearly never worked. Any reputable shop knows that sometimes products arrive defective, and replacing it for a customer who just purchased it is basic customer service. Even just the right thing to do as a human being. Instead, I was refused help and the guy wouldn't even provide his name when asked. Such a disappointing experience. I paid for a product that never worked and was treated poorly when I tried to resolve it and there never was a solution. I'd never come back or spend my money here again.

She's also amazing at keeping the area under control, creating a safer and more welcoming environment despite the challenges of the neighborhood. Honestly, I don't even like going to that part of town--it's not the safest--but I braved it because she made it worthwhile. Unfortunately, my last visit this morning left me deeply disappointed. I had an encounter with another employee, a Hispanic female, who verbally assaulted me and made me feel completely disrespected. She threatened violence (but said she wasn't able to because she was on the clock). This did not stop her from yelling threats from behind the counter within earshot of about 7 people in line. It's heartbreaking that one person's behavior has pushed me to stop coming here because I can no longer support a place that allows such treatment of customers. I'll miss the black girl that "married" me and my boyfriend (was so cute). If the Hispanic girl no longer works there, I will continue to patronize the business but until then I'll make sure everyone I know stands with me in not spending money at this place and goes to ON THE RUN at Anaheim and Alamitos instead.

I purchased a Pokémon Mega Evolution, Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box from this gas station, and it was blindingly obvious that someone had opened it beforehand and sealed it back up. As shown in picture two, the corner of the player's guide manual was heavily folded and creased, which never happens with a brand new, factory sealed product. Furthermore, looking at picture one, the included collectible coin was completely scratched up right out of the box. Someone clearly pre-opened this box, rummaged through it, and resealed it. When I called the store to report that they were distributing tampered products, they flat out refused to cooperate and stated they do not do refunds. I told the employee directly that I am filing a chargeback with my bank. Do not trust this establishment with collectibles. They are selling used, tampered goods as new and will refuse to take any responsibility when you call them out on it.
