I have been in recovery…read morefor 8 years now and I was told that I need to forget everything I knew about the Florida department of corrections and to get there however I could. I was told to call ever day while in transit and not to just disappear. 800 miles and 1000$ later I'm told I wasn't even scheduled for intake. After being on hold I was told to come on. I was taken in and automatically treated like a drug addict. They received funding to take me in and as soon as my ride left they led me to a D.O.C bunk, with D.O.C wool blanket and fed D.O.C food. When I tried to talk to someone I was treated terrible. If I wasn't secure in my recovery I certainly would have relapsed. I left against my will and am now homeless on the streets of St.cloud. My advice to EVERYONE seeking help is DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THERE. IF I COULD SUE THEM I WOULD BUT WHO WOULD LISTEN TO A NOW HOMELESS PERSON NEEDING HELP. I WANT TO CRY BUT YA KNOW.

I've reached out on 3 separate occasions due to needing a refill on my prescription sertraline and no answer. Why is it so god damn difficult to get some sort of communication? Worst of all their office hours are from 8-5. I call at 4:06pm with nobody in the queue prior to me, and I'm left waiting. They never picked up and the system or one of the "providers" hung up my call. As lovely as Ms. Fernandez is, their care quality sucks. I just wanted a refill, I've gone MONTHS without a refill on my prescription. You have the audacity to call your selves health care providers and can't even provide a damn response, disgusting. Don't waste your time dealing with this mess of a company.
