We stopped by here for breakfast with a group of family that was visiting from out of town. Everyone agreed that the ambiance was charming and that the food was great. I had the fajita omelet with chicken and it was very yummy. It had great flavor, was packed with veggies and it was covered in cheese. The cubed breakfast potatoes were crispy and delicious. The French toast was very good too. My husband had the Belgian waffles and he said they were alright but he wished the portion was a bit larger. My husband said that he really enjoyed the hash browns. Everyone else was exclaiming over the pancakes and other items they ordered as well. Overall Catalina's has reasonable pricing, cute ambiance and very good service. Parking is limited in the parking lot but there is some street parking available as well. We will absolutely be back and we will recommend this spot to our neighbors as well.

The service and food were outstanding. Angel is excellent at his job. It's great to know they grind their own beef.

This was a suggestion by my friends who live here. The was just passing through on a layover - and she recommended this diner. I AM A FAN OF DINERS!! (I'm an east coast kid ) The menu was extensive and they serve breakfast all day long!! They also serve alcohol as I saw a few margaritas float past our table. The service was friendly and I'm guessing it family run because everyone was friendly! The cooks thanked us for coming in from the kitchen!! Who does that!? THIS PLACE DOES!! The dining room was spacious. The bathrooms were super clean. There's a counter you can eat at. And they offer tables and booths. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my friends ordered the 3 taco plate - chicken. It was all delicious! Their homemade hot sauce is killer too If you haven't been here you need to! I am sure you'll enjoy whatever you choose at Catalina's. My only critique is they should get a filter system for the tap water they serve - it was not good. Happy grubbing!!

    Tiramisu-

This diner has such great comfort food ranging from street tacos to Calzones and hot sandwiches. Today's special was FRENCH dips. Served with brisket type sliced beef on a beautiful crunchy bun with gooey cheese. The au jus was just the right salty and beefy. And the dessert-homemade Tiramisu so rich and creamy. The perfect end to a really exceptional lunch.

Bland and over cooked breakfast with long wait times. Also absent wait staff. Go five miles into Kiowa for some AMAZING food at Patty Ann's.

My personal favorite is Cranelli's Italian restaurant in Lone Tree, Colorado. We were very warmly greeted as we arrived at the restaurant. On this particular day, we were there during happy hour because I had a nearby appointment. Right away, the ambiance was warm, cozy, had the feeling of a "real" Italian restaurant. We were taken to a table and within minutes the server approached with warm freshly baked garlic knots and asked if we would like to order any drinks or appetizers. Cranelli's has amazing happy hour deals on fabulous appetizers. We enjoyed every single bite of everything we tried and the drink deals were great, too. But the magic really happened with the entrees. I always order the chicken cacciatore. The level of the flavor and the intensity of flavor honestly feels like a party in my mouth. There is so much food if you get the full size, which I do, just so I will deliberately have leftovers. I got four meals out of my full size cacciatore! Mama Mia! My dining companion had the lasagna and we both Ooo'd and ahhh'd over it. Every bite so delicious. Our bill was so reasonable and we can't wait to go back!!!

Our booth on the church side was a little cramped. During the online reservation, it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I selected anniversary. I did not expect anything elaborate, but a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. There was none. The bread was soft and warm. It was probably the best part of the meal. The rest of the food was just underwhelming. The four seasons salad was okay but not memorable. The crab-stuffed shrimp linguine was also just okay, nothing special. The chicken piccata was overpowered by lemon and had not much flavor. The veal marsala risotto was dry, bland and forgettable. The portions were just right. Service could have been better. It was a little slow and did not feel warm or welcoming. Considering the hype and prices, the experience did not meet our expectations. None of us really enjoyed the meal. For us, it is a one-and-done.

It immediately made us feel overlooked and unimportant. While we waited, we ordered drinks at the bar. The bartenders did not speak highly of the staff and mentioned a few times that "the kitchen cannot handle that" or "the servers would all quit" for various reasons. It gave us pause as to whether we should even stay. Once seated, things only continued downhill. They were out of two local red wines and apparently every Pinot Noir on the menu, which was disappointing considering the limited options left. The service throughout the night felt completely inattentive. Our water glasses sat empty, no one checked on us after our food arrived, and we couldn't even mention issues because no one came by. To make matters worse, there was an olive pit left in the tapenade, which is unacceptable and honestly dangerous. On top of that, the pizza and pasta plates were scorching hot, and no one warned us before serving them. I ended up burning my hand trying to move a plate. For the price point and reputation, I expected so much better. The entire evening felt disorganized, careless, and lacking even the most basic attention to hospitality. We have a running list of hundreds of restaurants in the Denver metro area. We both grew up here and try 1-2 new (to us) restaurants a month. Of the list, which we started over 10 years ago, there are 3 with a thumbs down emoji next to them and this unfortunately is one of them.
