We get our holiday meats and burgers from here! They have a ton of meant to choose from and everything is just amazing! My favorite are the variety of burger flavors! Fantastic selection of high-quality meat and poultry. I purchased their dry cured bacon and it was the best we've ever tasted. The smoked ham hocks and andouille sausage are simmering in my bean soup as I type and it smells amazing. We look forward to trying their filet tips in our favorite Thai Steak Salad recipe. So excited to receive our meat! This was our first time ordering a 1/4 cow and we were so pleased with our order. Our neighbor coordinated the order so we didn't speak with anyone at the shop but we were so impressed with the labeling, cuts and packaging. The form to select our cuts was easy to complete - which was so appreciated as i was originally overwhelmed with the thought of completing the form. This place was amazing. Everything you could want in small or large quantities, flavored or plain. As grocery store quality is tanking, I loved and appreciated this place and am completely willing to pay a little more to get it. Staff was friendly but no one dawdles. This is small town Elizabeth at its most rustic. We have shopped here as desired over the 20 +/- years we have lived here. We even have bought organs for dissection purposes for our home school endeavors. We bought local honey here once too. So yeah it is good to shop here. PS. They can even pump your septic tank but call in advance to schedule them. read more

The Elizabeth Locker Plant is my go-to place for meat. I bought a pellet grill at the beginning of summer and had been looking for a good place to get meat to grill. Everyone on my street had been telling me about this place for some time, so I tried it. I have been spending a few hundred dollars a month there ever since! The meat is excellent quality. The price is very fair. The employees are wonderful and helpful. The "Karen's" from California will always find something to nit-pick about, but for those who appreciate a local, family owned butcher, this is the best I've found in the area. read more

Absolutely love this place! Small town butcher shop with a great selection/quality of meat. We have bought meat from Tony's and you can't match the quality that you get from here. We normally buy the tri-tip roasts and some strip steak. Fantastic taste and quality. Customer service is not front of mind. They have coupons out in a little community ad flyer that they won't honor by dropping their price by .40 and calling it a sale item.
