The paint is good however customer service is horrible. With other options available customer service is even more important. Go to one of their other locations. read more

Customer service here is always informative, efficient, and accurate. This is my go-to paint store. Yeah, the paint costs a little more than the big boxers but it is worth it. read more

I actually disagree with some of the reviews stating the paint staff is cold. I'm a homeowner and have bought all my paint here for decades. I've actually found most of the team to be good dudes. Typically, they're good to answer my questions and make recommendations. I definitely know about the small lumber yard knuckle heads who are only interested in working with trade professionals, but I have not found that to be true of the team here. Just had to call that out and say don't let those reviews scare you off. If someone's rude and being a jerk ask to work with someone else. read more

John and the rest of the crew are so great and patient with helping me ( not a painter, just a regular customer) with all my questions. I always come here for my painting needs. read more

I'm a designer and working with Joanna, there is so great! She's so creative, helpful, and attentive when it comes to quoting. I love that this particular "Paint store" has such a wide and wonderful variety of wall paper and fabric/upholstery! Likewise: the peeps at the paint counter are great too! Thanks, y'all! read more

2/5 because of their service. The Staff was rude and unfriendly. Came off with a judging tone when I came by to look for interior paint. read more

Yesterday the plan was to spackle a bunch of nail holes & touch-up the paint on the walls of the condo I'm selling. My contractor & a couple of his guys volunteered to give me a hand with this little job, since we were already doing some other work on site. We didn't want to drive the distance to Dunn Edwards to get a small amount of the exact original paint color so we figured we could match it close enough with Benjamin Moore. And we happened to be passing by Supreme Paint in Manhattan Beach. The bad news: when we got back to my condo we discovered we had been given the wrong paint color, not the color requested. And not only the wrong color but the wrong grade to boot. We had specified we didn't need top grade.....now it made sense why that 'lil can of paint cost 20 bucks. AND the paint store accidentally kept my contractor's color fan deck, which costs money to buy. I first (wrongly) blamed my contractor for screwing up this trip to the paint store, haha. The paint color we'd asked for was "Cotton Balls", an off-white. The color we received was pure white. My contractor was pissed. He said he'd go right over to the other Supreme Paint, a couple blocks from my condo in Redondo, and get the correct damn bunny balls paint color. He musta been thinking of Peter Cottontail.....or something..... I followed him down the driveway mumbling that I'd bust somebody's bunny balls with my broom handle if we didn't get the right color this time around. My little touch-up job was slowly turning into a wasted afternoon for all four of us. So that's how we ended up at this Supreme Paint location on PCH, hoping we could get them to tint our white paint to something close to Cotton bunny Balls. Here's what this store did for us: They took back our opened can of expensive white paint & gave us the right color in the right grade & even refunded some money. They called the Manhattan store & told them to look for, and hang on to, my contractor's paint color deck so he could pick it up. Ball's well that ends well. And it sure is refreshing when somebunny provides great customer service. read more

Aside from the well known quality of Benjamin Moore paint, the staff here has been exceedingly helpful to me in giving advice, preparing my samples, and efficiently getting me in and out of the store quickly. This is my favorite paint store. I won't shop anywhere else for paint. read more

Best customer service ever! Highly recommend, if you want that local paint store old school vibe. The staff is so helpful and patient with all of my questions and made some excellent suggestions. They are a joy to work with! read more

I have always been a big Benjamin Moore (BenMo) fan! There is no other paint (in my opinion) for interior or exterior jobs! With this said, I live in East LA, but was out at the beach helping friends paint their house and suggested BenMo paint... This place was great! My friend was not aware of BenMo's paint quality and the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable in backing me up and giving us tips and suggestions for our paint job. Highly suggested! read more

If you are not a professional painter, and want to ask for help or recommendations for your upcoming painting job, and have the staff get really ticked off at you, then this is the place for you! I found this out very quickly when I called and asked if they could make a recommendation for brushes and other items for a small project. I mentioned that I had an existing small can of paint which was from another vendor, and I was promptly demeaned as if I had done something egregious, told to read the label and if I still needed help after that then I could bring the can in and ask him. Wow, was I ever eager to make the drive over! No, actually I was not, so I drove to Woods Ace Hardware on the corner of Sepulveda Blvd. and Palos Verdes Blvd. in Torrance, to be helped by some very nice and helpful people. I bought everything I needed, and left without being shamed, which I felt was a huge bonus! Woods Ace Hardware also has Benjamin Moore BTW. read more

This is the worst paint store I have ever used. The samples are not updated, samples are missing and the paint colors DO NOT match the swatches. The guys seem pretty miffed if they have to make it actually look like the sample. read more

Paint to me is like toothpaste, you have a million different options to choose from. So when I come in asking questions I don't appreciate when people act annoyed when I start asking basic questions. read more

The most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered. We called and visited the store several times in an attempt to order shutters for our home. The woman working there was never in the store to receive our deposit and never called us back. When she did finally called us, she was rude and dismissive. They are not getting our money! read more

Seems like feast or famine when it comes to customer service based on the reviews. Fortunately for me, I am always treated like royalty as far as help and knowledge. I suggest going at time when contractors are not there. They are the bread and butter of these guys and us DIY'ers need babysitting. They'll totally help you when they have ample time and unlike the big box stores, they know what their products do. I've never been disappointed so I give them 5 stars. read more

We have been to the store many times. Out of 5 trips only one salesperson was very helpful and patient. We are preparing to stain a deck and had questions regarding the Benjamin Moore products - Clean, Brighten, Restore and Remove. Most of the guys (except for one) either don't care or don't know which product to recommend. Seems they want to cater to contractors as opposed to retail customers. I am sure the owner of the store would not be happy if he observed the way we were treated. read more

I have always had good service here. I have had the guys color match, and work patiently till I am satisfied. A good paint store is always busy and because each can has to be mixed it can be a long time to wait. By their nature, paint stores serve one person after another and each order takes time. So call ahead with your choices so its ready to pick up. The guys need to concentrate when in the middle of orders mixing so I dont think they purposely ignore people, just have patience and wait till someone is free to talk too. And give them a smile! read more

We have visited this store several times as we have always purchased Benjamin Moore paint. No longer! They are by far the unfriendliest people. Dunn Edwards here we come. The guy at the counter was so sarcastic and demeaning. He was upset that we made him get up off his rear and actually work that day. Does he think the painters pay for this stuff themselves?! read more

I went to this store and found them the unfriendliness people and not very helpful AT ALL! The one guy who bothered to talk to me had no knowledge. I was asking him about venetian plaster and he kept saying "I don't know." I waited about 30 minutes to find somebody else to talk to but nobody was around. Finally this lady was finished with her customer so I approached her in the hope of getting an answer to my question and also buy some paints but she said she is busy and can not talk to me. I could not believe it. I just left! I don't recommend these people. Go to another store. Don't waste your time, I am not going back there! read more
