Being a desk warrior isn't good & prior to that, I stood all day at a previous job. Any extreme will take its toll on you... & my daily aches & stiffness remind me of such. I've attended 3 classes so far, all virtually - which I appreciate so much given the winter weather & the pandemic. My absolute favorite class is Candlelight Yoga with Aasha. I find ending my stressful week with this class so necessary & I feel refreshed & relaxed after. I love that we're asked what parts of the body may need attention & we'll work through some poses to help... & they do! Despite being hyper mobile, I can still get a good stretch & be challenged. Class ends with meditation & before you know it, any drama & stress from the previous days are gone. If you're on the fence of starting a new healthy habit, give this place a try. Your mind & body will thank you for it!

Not only did it give me much needed time to reflect and relax before the new year, but it was just such a pretty, quiet, positive and motivating experience. I really liked our instructor -she explained the poses very clearly so that even a novice, like me, could follow easily. I also liked that the studio was comfortably warm and there were all sorts of props to use to aid in the poses (which was a new experience for me). I also liked that she had some unique twists in the class -starting off with an inspirational quote, ending with a poem. It was very thoughtful and clearly planned out. Overall, great experience -I really liked this class and plan to check in when I'm in need of a little reflective centering.

For $100 and 5 short and lovely weeks, Jennifer Kim and Master Kim and their method (Master Kim's Father's incredible method!) stopped my anxiety. The work Focused me to listen to what others are truly saying around me. I have been a better employee, leader, mom and woman. Love the Peace School. Honestly every human should take this course and the world would be a better place. I am a better human for experiencing this class. Please Take it! You will not regret.

The motivation was 1) feeling particularly stressed lately, and 2) more regularly biking to/from work lately - so I get plenty of aerobic exercise in, just not as much stretching. As a few other reviews note, the class (I did level 3 with my husband) was more about stretching and breathing, which is what I was hoping for. It was nice to un-tighten, and nice to give my mind a break on a Saturday morning. After class, the owner and that class's teacher, Master Kim, as well as Lydia (who works there) came over to talk with us, which was pleasant. We learned this type of yoga is more traditional, compared to the harder yoga workouts that are trendier these days. If you're looking for a place to show off your Lululemon and Insta' your practice, it might not be for you (though I'm sure you'd still be welcome!). But, if you want to unwind and stretch and rest your mind, this was a nice class for it. $10/class and drop-in makes it likely we'll be back!
