He came to my home within two days to do a detailed estimate. We carefully explored several options. He emailed his estimate to me three days later. I noticed that it was a professional estimate complete with drawings, written warranty, DOPL license number, and costs to install the mitigation system. I did my due diligence by checking with DOPL, BBB, and the State of Utah consumer protection agency. Roger and his company have a spotless record with no complaints. I set the date to install. Roger arrived on time and finished the project that day on time. He worked like a very knowledgeable pro in the basement, garage, attic and up on the roof. He cleaned up all of his work areas. Roger gave me a free Radon test kit which I mailed off a few days after the work was completed. The test came back with a Radon level of 1.1, the best you can get. Now, my wife and I feel a lot safer occupying our basement area. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. My best advice for anyone is to skip the two big companies in Utah who cannot come to your home for 50-60 days after you call them. One big company makes estimates over the phone with a somewhat pushy style. I hope Roger puts his company sign up in my yard to advertise his great work.

I am pleased to say that Matthew covered all the bases and he created a neutral and unbiased report that the buyer (me) and seller (I shared the report with them) could count on. I wouldn't hesitate to use Redstone again, and will certainly recommend their services to friends and family in the area as the need arises. 5-Stars, well deserved.

Upon informing my realtor who would be completing the inspection, his immediate response was something along the lines of "that's the best you're going to get." We were not disappointed. Mathew was able to accommodate our short time frame and was polite, friendly and professional throughout our interactions. His lengthy and very detailed report was turned around over a weekend / less than one business day from inspection, and filled with pictures pointing out any and all issues (no matter how minor), things that could become issues, recommendations, and any knowledge he had on whether certain parts of the construction had been recalled. I highly recommend Redstone Home Inspections and will certainly consult them again if I find myself acquiring another home in the area in the future.

I connected with him through a referral from my real estate agent. He arrived early and was very thorough in going through this home. His report came back quickly and is very well laid out and easy to read. he has provided a great road map of items for me to pay attention to and get repaired now or that are of potential concern and can be deferred. As I am from out of state and not knowing the local people and contractors I found Jon to be a wonderful contact in providing suggestions for multiple contractors to connect with. While he doesn't indorse one over another he provided a list of a few names of folks he has seen do good work in the past. This provided me a great deal of comfort as I embark on new and uncharted territories. Jon has been wonderful to work with and I HIGHLY recommend using him if you would like an honest, thorough, approachable, understanding and kind home inspector. He has far exceeded my expectations and has been present, available and supportive even after his initial job was completed and done. I had the very unfortunate event of having my main contractor die just as he was getting started on my project and Jon has checked in on me unprompted and offered additional connections to pursue. Bill was referred to me by my real estate agent, who had had great experience using his services in the past. After I reached out to Bill, he responded very quickly and was able to schedule an inspection within the same week. Since I have a busy day job with an unpredictable schedule, I had to adjust the appointment time a couple times, but Bill was very patient and flexible throughout the process. It seemed that he had to shuffle his original schedule a little to make it work for me. On the day of inspection, Bill arrived at the property on time (before I did actually). He was very thorough and detail oriented throughout the inspection. He also took the time to explain what he saw to me and patiently answered all the questions I had. As the other reviewers said, Bill was very professional and knowledgeable. After the inspection, I received a very detailed inspection report with a very clear structure, detailed account of all issues found in the property (from minor ones to major ones) and easy-to-follow pictures and marks to support. I received the report in just two days. My great experience with Bill and 5 Star Inspection did not stop there. Bill continued to offer me one-off support well after the inspection. A couple weeks after inspection, he leveraged his own network to help me find a good foundation company. TWO MONTHS after the inspection, as I started remodeling my house, I reached out to Bill again with a question about my furnace (with very little hope that Bill might be able to help). Bill called me back in 5 minutes and spent quite some time with me over the phone to help me troubleshoot. To summarize, I had a great experience with 5 Star Inspection, and I highly recommend it to everyone who needs an home inspection.
