Then he lead me down a rabbit hole and gave me bad information on the exterior. So I had an exterior expert who specializes in this particular exterior come out and look at it and he refuted almost everything the inspector told me. It was not the product that the inspector told me it was. A sticker that was still on the product proved what it really was. The exterior specialist proved that It was installed correctly and was fine. It just needed a little calk but NOT in the places the inspector had told me. If I had calked where the inspector had told me to calk, it would have caused big problems. It is my opinion that this guy had absolutely no clue what he was talking about. I felt He spent most of his time typing on his computer. He was one of the worst inspectors I have ever used.

The roof--which they downplayed--had to be fully replaced within months. They didn't catch that the basement toilet wasn't even bolted down. Worst of all, they failed to note that the water main wasn't up to code. When we raised these concerns, their only offer was to take us to dinner--on the condition that we didn't share our experience with others. Completely unacceptable. Don't trust this company with something as important as your home. We certainly wouldn't use them again or recommend them to anyone.
