It treats arthritis at the base of the thumb, often involving a trapeziectomy (removing the trapezium bone) and often a ligament reconstruction - therefore physical therapy is *IMPERATIVE. Casey has been my primary physical therapist and he has been phenomenal. He answers all my ridiculous questions, (patiently), and offers easy to follow suggestions - he's a gem. Front desk also called my insurance to figure out how much my copays are and how much is covered. Getting my visits scheduled and rescheduled is so easy because front desk ladies are so kind! I have seen three physical therapists there due to some health leaves they've experienced but everyone is so friendly and kind! It's as if I'm seeing the same person every time. They always review my chart and we always pick up where we left off no matter who I am seeing.
