Dr Peter Kung, I had a shoulder replacement about seven years ago (performed by you). It has failed. Why did it fail? How do I take care of it until I am able to see another surgeon? Had Dr. Linn replace the part of my shoulder joint in May. So far the rehabilitation has been perfect. Chronic pain is gone and I can get a good night's sleep again. The process from the first visit to my last one, today, has been great. Top notch surgeon and support staff. PNW physical therapy in Castle Rock was great as well. Dr. McCloud is an amazing podiatrist. He's a little awkward socially but such a great surgeon. If you have foot problems, he's your man! Two thumbs up!!!! He deserves 5 stars. Dr. Kung on the other hand...wow. He talked to me like I'm 9 years old and not an educated woman that's had 6 weeks to research my problem, including physical therapy. He's rude, dismissive, won't answer questions, made recommendations of other doctors I should see but wouldn't give me a refferal or even recommendations of other doctors he knows. Didn't answer anything about medications(anti-inflammatory not painkiller), follow up, nothing. I waited 6 weeks to see him. I got nothing accomplished. All he did was review my records. He could have emailed me instead of making me wait 6 weeks for nothing. He might be a fabulous surgeon but my issue was never surgical. When I made my appointment, I told them all my symptoms. They made an appointment with someone that wouldn't address 2 of the 3 issues I'm having. He said unless I needed surgery he won't help me. I even asked for my co-pay back and of course the office manager rudely rebuffed me. So, this practice has at least one awesome doctor, Dr. McCloud. I wouldn't count on the rest of them though. Receptionists are not very friendly. Definitely no smiles. Rough considering they deal with people in pain. read more

I fractured my shoulder the evening of June 30 and had the surgery the next day because they had to get the titanium insert from Seattle. Dr. Lin did the surgery and was excellent and has a very good professional personality. He came by the next day to see how I was doing. I had three different checkups with him and was very pleased with everything and everybody at Longview Orthopedics. They're friendly , very efficient and attended to me promptly upon my arrival. I was always early and was taken in early rather than waiting. When it was necessary for me to re-schedule and appointment, it was done promptly with ease. Dr. Lin demonstrated and gave me a sheet of directions for exercises for me to do with my shoulder which is doing fine. read more

I have hesitated to write a review about Dr. McLeod, but my foot doctor tried to refer me to him for a needed surgery, and I realized he's probably referring others to him, so it prompted me to write a review from a few years ago as I refused the referral from foot doctor. I had broken my leg in 2015 and was sent to Dr. McLeod. He was rude and pompous. When my leg wasn't healing as rapidly as expected, I finally demanded an MRI, which showed fluid around the injury. His advice was "the more you walk on it, the better" so I went on a previously-scheduled trip to China that I knew required lots of walking (I tried to power though it). I was miserable!! My foot/ankle was swollen, red, and painful the entire trip. We were having to get wheelchairs wherever possible just to have some relief. I missed many "tours" due to pain and having to get my foot elevated for relief. At the end of the trip was a 4-day River Cruise where I encountered a Chinese acupuncturist who saw me twice and gave me more relief than I had had in 2 months! When I returned home and attended my follow-up visit with Dr. McLeod, I told him about the relief I got from the acupuncturist, and he rudely got up and left the room, saying "I don't know anything about that!" My husband and I were left sitting there dumb-founded and furious with his pompous attitude. I will never go back to this doctor. read more

Worst doctor experience ever! Maybe they don't like workman's comp cases but it's where the ER sent me for a broken hand. Hardly any personal questions. Other pains were not addressed at all. Provider was in room about 4 minutes. Told "you will get arthritis early now because of where it's broken". After seeing that paperwork said I was to return next day for light duty, I went back and questioned nurse. Very condescending and snippy answers. Will never go back. Got a phone message saying they wouldn't file paperwork unless I gave them $10. Not getting any money from me. If I treated people the way I was treated I certainly could not keep my job. Was referred by Kaiser, Dr. Halverson was very nice but the customer service from the office is an exercise in frustration. Does not matter the time of day you call you are kicked to hold. My hold time that I hang up on is 10 min. at a time. I've never had anyone pick up. I've left my # for a call back in the am and the next day had still not received one. So i'm done, I would drive to Sunnyside rather than try to make another appt. read more

I went to Longview Orthopedics for torn shoulder muscles. Dr. Kung did the surgery and is a good surgeon, but didn't even have the decency to show up for my post surgical appointment - instead a gentleman named Cory did my post surgical follow up - he is a nurse at the facility. He spent all of 3 seconds looking at my shoulder & incisions and was about to leave when I stopped him and stated that I had lots of questions. He didn't answer any of them with anything but vague answers - nothing that pertained to me and my case. I still have those same questions unanswered. I also received no pre surgical appointment where I could get these questions answered ahead of time. As surgery day drew near and I had received absolutely no information regarding my surgery or the follow up care that I would be needing, I called Longview Orthopedics and asked if they had some kind of brochure or literature that would explain what to expect during recovery - I was told that they had nothing that they could send me. Their website was also very vague and unhelpful. I couldn't get an appt to ask questions between that day and surgery, so I was left to learn everything I could from YouTube !! There is also no individualized treatment plan with Longview Orthopedics - they don't frequently check up on you and say that you are progressing to the next level - they just have a "one size fits all" approach and expect you to fit into that plan with no exceptions. I was also surprised that they do not schedule the after surgery visit until 2 weeks after surgery - no exceptions. I have NEVER had stitches remain in place for more than 1 week, and by week 2, the stitches were starting to have some skin grow over them and two of the incisions were becoming pretty red and concerning. I do have to add that the surgery facility at Longview Orthopedics was fabulous - very patient oriented and efficient. I am hoping that my final 6 week appoint will actually be with Dr. Kung and not some random nurse that knows nothing about me. Dr. Kung may be a good surgeon and may have done a good job on my shoulder, but I will not be going back to Longview Orthopedics after my final visit. read more

I had a 2:30 appt and arrived at 1:45. At check in I asked to confirm that they had MRI, Arthrogram and X-ray results or images....no they did not but the receptionist did say that she saw they had been ordered by my Dr. I had a fax'd copy of one report given to me by my doctor. She made a copy and I sat down to wait. I was brought in quickly and Dr. Wang came into the room saying he hadn't seen the images but read the partial report I had provided. Without examining me anymore than asking me to raise my arm (shoulder pain/injury) he concluded that I had frozen shoulder and ordered P.T. for up to a year. He asked if I wanted to try a Cortisone shot.....like I know :( I explained and it was in my Doctor report that P.T. was already attempted and without good results hence my being at their clinic for possible surgery, after reading all of the reports my Dr. thought I had "major issues and possibly joint replacement" was needed. I was in my car at 2:20 to leave, 10 minutes before my appt....There was plenty of time to request and receive digital reports before I stepped into the exam room and give me a thorough proffesional exam if they chose to give a damn. I have Molina Health Insurance so I believe that Dr. Wang and his staff made the decision to usher me through quickly as there's no money in it. My opinion is that this is a completely unprofessional and unethical Doctor. Going for a second opinion.. read more

Appt at 10:40, 10:30 came and checked in and paid my copay it's 11:20 still waiting to be seen

I went in for foot and ankle swelling with pain and saw Dr. McLeod. I was given a steroid shot which I had a very bad reaction to. I then had to go see my regular doctor due to the effects of the steroid. It was 2 weeks before I was beginning to feel like myself. The shot was a steroid that I had been given before which landed me in the ER. It was on my medical chart I had an adverse reaction to this particular steroid. When I went back to see Dr. McLeod and related what I had been through, his response was rude and inconsiderate. You know, I am not only the patient, but a customer. I have been in the business world all my adult life and would never dream of treating a customer with the disregard I was shown. I will not be going back to this facility, at least not to see Dr. McLeod. He admitted no fault and if fact declared the shot had been successful if it had given me any relief of the pain and swelling in my foot, completely disregarding the very ill effects of the steroid shot. What happened to the days of a doctor actually caring about a patients well-being? The rest of the staff were fine. read more
