The meat quality here is excellent and the prices are spot-on. I've now been to this place six times and it has quickly become one of my favorites. What really stands out is the atmosphere and customer service -- it's outstanding. The whole team is super friendly, attentive, and completely in sync. Every few minutes, my server or the manager would stop by to check on us. Made conversation with us and made us feel welcome. Waters were constantly refilled, and the grill was swapped out whenever needed. You can tell everyone here genuinely wants to work and take care of their guests. I've brought several friends with me on different visits, and they were all blown away by the service and vibe too. Highly recommend this spot! read more

When it comes to choices of AYCE KBBQ, it was either this one or the one across the street. I was being in a cheap mood and their cheapest menu started at $23.99. I wasn't sure what to expect but at that price that menu provided all the different meats I wanted - beef brisket, beef bulgogi, and pork belly. Their banchan was exactly what I wanted with fish cakes, salad, cucumber kimchi, etc. They do of course have regular kimchi too but I don't normally eat it. Also, they had rice paper and not every place always has it for the cheap menu price. They actually make you pay before you sit down. I am actually okay with that because I get that there are a lot of dine and dashers out there. The restaurant is a pretty good size so we didn't have to wait on Sunday afternoon. I also I have to commend them on their air circulation. I know smelling like KBBQ is a given after going to a restaurant but I didn't feel like I smelled at all after I left. They have good ventilation! LOL Anyways, the service was on point. I loved our server. He was always checking up on us and even put some meat on our grill for me and my bestie. LOL He told us that he is not suppose to do it, but told us not to tell anyone. (I'm sure it was joke and he only did it once for us.) I appreciated his humor and making us feel welcome. I'm also glad there is a lot of street parking, but there is a small parking lot available too. I can't wait to come back because my experience was great. Note: As I was looking through my pictures, I have no idea why I didn't take more pictures. (Hand over face emoji insert here. LOL) read more

Date of visit: March 22, 2026 Selections: Option B Experience: My family wanted to eat here and I already knew parking was going to be pretty bad considering the usual KBBQ place we ate at before was across the street. This particular KBBQ shares a small lot with a 7-11 and offers valet parking, which we took advantage of. My brother and his girlfriend had arrived a bit before my mom and I got there, so we were seated right away. We entrusted the ordering of meats and sides to my brother since he and his girlfriend had been here a handful of times already with our top picks being brisket and various kinds of pork belly. I definitely enjoyed the cheese corn and the miso soup, which was interesting since it had some onions in it. Apparently this is a great spot to have your birthday because no joke we heard the birthday song sung by the staff every 5 minutes or so for a period of time. Though I have to admit using the cheese grater as an instrument was pretty fun to watch them play. The food was overall pretty good and the wait staff were pretty nice too. We did struggle to get our water pitcher refilled here and there since wait staff was hard to get a hold of with how busy it got towards the ends of our meal. read more

We couldn't find or remember which Korean BBQ we stopped by last time when we went to LA , we just exited in this area and found this CASTLE BBQ. No line at all when we went because everybody was already seated; the inside was packed, so I guess we just got lucky to have a Table available for us. They asked you to pay first and get a table after. All of our orders came so quickly like the Banchans and meats, all the serving sizes were generous. But I feel like the meats are not as tasty or flavorful as the other Korean BBBQ buffet we went to. But the service was nice and quick. We park on the side street but I believe they do have a Valet parking. read more

Was looking for some cheap Ayce eats in LA and came across this spot. Parking is valet for $5. Its a korean bbq spot but very Mexican influenced. From the music to the sauces and customers to the decor, music, and even workers. $23.99 for the lowest tier was not bad. Came with a small menu of options. Meat quality was ok. We liked the bulgogi and beef brisket best. Side dishes were good but served in very small portions so had to keep ordering. I just wish the lower tier option came with Galbi bone-in rib meat. I dont care for anything else as much. No Matcha tea either. Tried the strawberry lemonade which was more like powdered pink lemonade than real fruit. Overall this place could score higher if they had Galbi on all menu tiers, included side-dish menus so we know whats available, offered matcha iced tea. Service was great tho. And the grill was changed often. read more

With a friend leaving for Europe, it's no surprise that he wanted to get their "Kbbq fix" before heading out. Of course we were all down to make this the destination. Diego, Javier (Javi), Carlos, & Henry never fail to deliver on their impeccable service. I feel like we're treated like family here. One thing that I especially appreciate is that they're always on top of changing the grill (since we're known for ordering rather copious amounts of meat). FOOD: Boneless Short Rib Cube - 9.6 / 10 My "Go-To" Cut. Hearty, beefy. The marinade is the standard marinade by which I measure all marinades: saltiness + umami from the soy sauce, sweetness from the sugar, asian pear, & citrus. Rounded with some sweet wine. This piece of delicious meat must be cut with scissors but that's because you're getting a serious cut. Bulgogi - 9.5 / 10 The safe choice by which I measure all kbbq spots. Easy to eat. I believe it's the same traditional marinade as the Boneless Short Rib Cube. I inhale this stuff because I can never get enough of it. Sliced Beef Brisket - 9.0 / 10 It's really hard to screw this up as it's not marinaded. I eat this because it cooks the fastest. I eat this while waiting for the boneless short rib cube & bulgogi to finish cooking. Since it's not marinated, I 100% recommend asking your server to bring out a bowl of their "Brisket Sauce" - Thank me later. Herbed Pork Belly - 6.7 / 10 Again, I'm not the one to order pork but I will happily indulge in sharing. The fat layer is more than plentiful in these cuts. I tend to like a more well-rendered cook on these. The rosemary is especially pronounced. One thing I recommend is ordering this early, if not as your first cut. That way, the melted fat + rosemary permeate with the other meats. LA Short Rib - 9.2 / 10 The quintessential cut. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is that you're limited to 2 pieces of this particular cut per person. Why? It's easily their most prized cut. The tenderness, meatiness, & overall mouthfeel is unmistakeable. You're really getting the best of flavor + texture. This is the "Rolls Royce" of beef cuts. Rice Paper - 9.0 / 10 Oily, but necessary. An edible "deck of cards". Not all kbbq spots offer rice paper. I'm a bit spoiled, so it's almost a "deal breaker" is a place doesn't offer it. The ideal vehicle for your cooked meats. Corn Cheese - 8.7 / 10 Sweet, yellow corn. Melty mozzarella. Provides some sweet, salty, contrast to the entire meal. Kimchi - 8.3 / 10 The ideal vegetable side to provide the crisp, cold, & spicy contrast. It's nothing special to write home about, but that's perfectly fine. People I go with often order more as the meal continues. read more

My family will always be loyal in going here at least 5 times a year. Quality wise, it is definitely at the bottom tier but that what makes it so special to us. Their recipe for bulgogi is what always brings us back because that's my brother's favorite thing to eat. The brisket is not so good. However, the pork belly is sliced thinly just how I like it and its very good! They offer both plain and spicy for the lowest priced menu. The price is still really good for what they serve. They have a pretty good spread of banchan: cucumbers, sprouts, fish cake, kimchi. They also give onions, jalapenos and garlic at request. Tip: they also have a brisket sauce at request! This place can get really crowded and smoky. They did a remodel during covid so it feels less run down than how it used to be. It feels more open now and the restrooms are kept clean. Service here is always quick and friendly. The valet is now $4. Street parking is free but can be challenging to find a spot. read more

For the price, I liked this place a lot. The brisket, rib finger, pork belly, rib cube, and flower steak were all really good. The bulgogi was too thinly sliced so it just disintegrated. Service was hard to get their attention but otherwise fine. You pay before you eat so its best to bring cash to tip at the end. Parking is horrible. read more

Castle BBQ - Menú - Barbeque Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Stopped by on Wednesday, 11/27/24 (dinner time). There are 3, AYCE menu options (A, B or C). Opted in for Menu C: - 2 AYCE - Menu C ($35.50 per person) = $71 SUBTOTAL = $71 TAX = $6.75 OVERALL TOTAL = $77.75 Very delicious! This place was busy and jam-packed. Fortunately there was no wait time. Valet parking outside (not free) - parking can be very tricky (not spacious). Menu C has additional foodie options and I would recommend this menu option if you are a huge seafood lover. This menu includes: spicy baby octopus, beef tongue, marinated shrimp, rib eye steak, squid, and spicy brisket. 5/5!!! read more

I've been to Castle KBBQ in Koreatown at least 5 times in the past few months, and every single visit has been consistent. First off, you do pay before you sit down, which I'm totally fine with because the service more than makes up for it. The service is always impeccable. The staff is fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly, they treat you like friends, not just customers. They constantly check in, switch out the grills without you having to ask, and stay on top of refilling sides, drinks, and any meat you need. You never feel ignored here. The portions are BIG. They are not stingy like a lot of other KBBQ spots in the area. While there may be a couple of competitive KBBQ places with slightly higher-end meat, I'd say 9/10 of everything we order here is delicious and satisfying. The quality for the price is honestly hard to beat. The restaurant is clean, organized, and well-run. My boyfriend and I love coming here because we always leave feeling like we truly got our money's worth, great service, generous portions, and consistently good food. There's street parking available, and they also offer valet in the lot they're in, which makes it convenient for K-town. Definitely one of our go-to KBBQ spots! read more

So many good recommendations and menu with certain specific cuts of meat peaked interest but definitely confused with what was actual true pricing.....? Truly was hoping hidden gem but sadly realized not my jam and although they do have some interesting cuts like beef tongue, thinly sliced pork belly, beef belly, rib fingers and boneless short rib....Not bad quality but not great? FYI prices are all wrong on website!! B set or C set are best options and $28.50 or $35.50!!! Yes still well below average but definitely not under $20 as advertised!! Super crowded small space and demographics are definitely not your typical but I can see and understand the allure but just not for me!!! read more

Unfortunately, this Korean BBQ was a major disappointment. I guess you get what you pay for. The music was obnoxiously loud, with the same reggaeton song playing on repeat, making it difficult to talk and get the attention of an employee. The restaurant itself was not clean-tables and chairs were greasy and sticky, which was an immediate red flag. We ordered some beef brisket and chicken, but after cooking it, the meat tasted old and possibly spoiled. There was also no proper ventilation. The hood did not appear to be working, leaving the dining area smoky and uncomfortable (also a fire and safety hazard). I typically enjoy Korean side dishes, but the ones served here were gross and also tasted off. On top of the overall lack of cleanliness, you are required to pay before being seated, which felt inappropriate given the experience and asking for a tip up front. Overall, this place felt grimy, did not resemble a traditional Korean BBQ experience, and is not somewhere I would return to or recommend to friends or family. read more

Korean BBQ! They have 3 different tiers of pricing depending on what you want to eat. We were fine with the lowest tier (A Menu) since our favorite meat is beef brisket. There weren't a lot of banchans but they had the core: kimchi, potato salad, and bean sprouts. A small bowl of salad was also served and you can ask for more of the banchans. Overall the meat was very flavorful and the service was good. Would not recommend the intestine unless you like very gamey meat. Our server was quick to bring items we asked for and he checked in on us regularly. It's a smaller older restaurant in a strip mall with valet parking. There might be street parking in the area. They played upbeat music, top hits from the past two decades. Overall 3.5 rounded up to 4. Would come back again if I'm in the area! read more

This is my go to spot if you want a bang for your buck. I love there twist of miso soup not your traditional but taste good to me. We did the $28.50 which had the beef belly if your not into fat this ain't for you. The flat iron which they named it flower steak was actually good quality I like cooking mine with just a good sear in both sides them comes out medium rare. This spot always have excellent service the spot was well lit for the afternoon they do blast the music so most def not a kid friendly spot. This is a cheap eats spot. If you're looking to get the most bang for your buck, this would be it. The atmosphere and vibe is very Hispanic. There's ONLY Reggaeton music that plays here. The majority, if not all workers, were speaking Spanish. So this isn't your typical Kbbq. It's definitely more targeted for the western crowd. The same goes for the food. It's not your traditional seasonings but more of a Western style. I will say that the meats were well seasoned and tasted great. Quality is questionable for sure. I wasn't sure what we were eating when some of the meats arrived. Some of the brisket looked freezer burnt but tasted alright. The Banchan were all really good. They start you off with little sample sizes, and if they see you eat it all, they'll bring you a bigger portion of it. The service is amazing. The staff check up on you constantly, making sure you're good on meats, drinks, etc.... they also came around frequently to change out the grill top. The only strange part was paying before you got seated. I'd give this place 4.5/5 due to the quality of meats, but with the pricing, it doesn't justify a whole star. This is a place where people come to eat a lot for cheap and it provides exactly that. read more

This place is the best bbq place in my opinion the food is so fresh the salad is fresh juicy and delicious. The short ribs were so good and it was marinated. Just right, the pork belly and brisket. It was juicy, tender don't forget about the beans, sprouts, it was so good. The service was amazing. These worker deserves raise they were being nice patient as well. And if you come there like a month or two , they will know what you're gonna order and what you want. The ambiance lives up to its name the inside was not to much but good with pictures of dragons eyes and knights which is creative. The place deserves a five star. review i'm a regular customer there, and if it was my first time again. I will definitely come there and you should too. read more

Let me start with I don't usually take the time to leave reviews but this place was really let me down. This place was recommended to me by a family member, so after a nearby concert I figured I'd stop by. I looked up the hours and said they closed at 11:30pm being 10:15pm and 5 mins I figured were good. We arrived at 10:30pm a whole hour before closing and walk up to the front counter and ask to be seated when we're told by a staff member that they were already closed and the kitchen closed as well and the kitchen staff is gone. We literally look around and there's like 6 tables still sitting there eating, not to mention they closed the restaurant and no kitchen staff a whole hour before seems off. Not wanting to be argumentative for a battle we wouldn't win, we left and took our business elsewhere. I know this isn't exactly review on the food but just really disappointing because we wasted time coming here and couldn't get to another Korean BBQ place on time since they mostly closed at 11pm. read more

I grew up down the street from this spot, have been coming all my life, it always hits. I've been to Quarters, Parks BBQ, etc. so I get the fancier experience. But nothing beats an old school spot that has been around forever for a reason. I'm simple and just want brisket most of the time and the servers here are attentive and get you what you want asap.
