They came to help make my Great White Vacuum work in my pool. They said my Vacuum was broken. They can fix it for $215 I went to pick it up Saturday morning. Noticed that it wasn't My vacuum anymore that I was picking up, but Castaway Pools told me they just "put a new head on it" but that it was mine. Okay no problem. Tried for hours, along with friends, to get it to vacuum my pool before my Saturday night party. Vacuum doesn't work. I call Castaway Pool. Please come and help. "Sure we'll be there today" Never came. I called again two hours before they close. Phone is now straight to answer machine. I leave a message that pool party starts in one hour. Please please stop by. No call back. No text. No one showed. I called this morning, MOnday. Spoke with Ron the owner to see if they could come today and fix the vacuum. He said it's my fault that the vacuum is not working because my Filter must be dirty and my Valves are not on right WITHOUT EVEN COMING TO MY HOUSE??? And screamed at me about how busy he is. I asked why couldn't he have just at least texted me to let me know they weren't showing up. He said his employees "never gave him the message on Saturday about my vacuum not working after I just gave them $215 to "fix" it. If this is how to run a business, I need to start maintaining my pool myself and fixing vacuums myself. Horrible horrible. Please note that this review is Not slanderous, but Factual. I'm not saying don't use Castaway Pools just because I won't anymore. This is Helpful info to the Consumer who needs to be informed. read more

I'm extremely satisfied with their service, I went in and told the technician about my problem with the filtration system. Carl the tech came out to see the issue and replaced the parts in less than half hour and fix my problem. I would use them again in the future and the price for the work was very affordable. read more

These are my pool guys. You can use them, I guess, but they are my pool guys. They are ridiculously friendly and helpful. Extremely competent and able. If you live in Homestead these are your guys, if you live in Miami these are your guys, if you live in Boston, these are your guys. I have a simple 10x 20 Intex above ground pool and they talked me through my entire pool set up from start to finish. I have had a twenty minute conversation with them about chemicals, not purchased anything, and they still made me feel appreciated as I left the store. Today when I showed us they were helping one of their customers, a snowbird from Canada (if your in Canada these are your guys). After their pool business they helped her find, and contact an accountant in Homestead just to be helpful. They understand customer service and are maybe the best examples of it in town. In all seriousness they are responsible for the awesomeness of my pool and hot tub, I will go to them as long as I need water samples (free), supplies or advice. Best in town, hands down!.
