In the end, they squeezed me in around 10am, which was perfect! The crew showed up right on time, were professional, friendly, and got the job done efficiently and cleanly. No mess, quick pump and inspection, and they left everything spotless in my backyard (even with all the plants and stuff around the access point). Communication was top-notch from start to finish--morning check-in texts, heads-up when they were en route, and a call number if needed. I've dealt with septic services before, but this was one of the best experiences. Honest, reliable, and they really go the extra mile to make it work for the customer. Turns out the pipe was snaked and corroded from the septic they fix it the next day . Mind you this was all over the phone. I finally went to see it after they got it done I met bj the son and they got it done and he told me what the issue was and that they fix it. Our guest house flooded from a sewage backup, caused I suspected from our 57-yr. old vertical…read moreholding pit failing. Bill Zondorak, owner, notified me when I asked Yelp to put our request out for further help from contractors associated with the problem we were having. I Yelped for a septic umping company and received a test from Priddy's septic pumping Company right away, followed by a text from engineer Bill Zondorak right away, that he could help us if we needed a new vertical hiding pit drilled. With a flooded guest house and no help from our home insurance company (our policy had a "backup" disclosure of no coverage), we were/are in a bad way. Bill responded within two days, the same day Priddy's squeezed us in to have our two septic tanks pumped (at a reasonable flat rate) and discovered that our holding pit had not backed up, due to no "tub ring" in the tank indicating that the holding pit was still doing it's job. Septic drilling companies are few and far between in San Diego county. All of the companies that used to drill either sold out to other companies, or went back to septic pumping. If you google or Yelp for drilling engineer companies, you'll see what I'm describing. Zondorak Engineering will be drilling a 2" hole in the black 4" 90-ell you see in the photos to run a camera into the inlet line from the tank main line inlet, back to the guest house to look for whatever problem has caused the backup that exited from the toilet and caused the flooding. And running a camera through the tanks discharge to the vertical holding pit to see if there has been any collapse of redwood framework that was originally installed, BEFORE we decide or not to drill a new vertical holding pit. Professional, bar none.
