Dropped bike off for warranty work. They had bike sitting outside for over 30 days and work was still not done. Went to pick it up and as a result of sitting outside I now have sun rot damage and damage from sitting in the rain. read more

I had the misfortune of breaking down near Casper, Wyoming with my Honda Goldwing. I hit a rough pavement break , and my bike completely shut off. After some inspection and researc, (I checked all the fuses twice) and I couldn't get it to start. It cranked but would not start. I had the bike towed to Casper Mountain Motorsports to have their "technician" (supposedly a Goldwing specialist" NOT) look at what was wrong. They told me that my bike needed a complete new main wiring harness AND all 6 injectors were bad. I was suspicious and called the Honda dealer close to me and they told me that what they told me was a billion in one chance of what's wrong. I rented a truck, took the bike to my dealership (Ephrata Honda in Ephrata, Pa.) Randy had my bike up & running on day one. It turns out it was a $15. Relay. Casper Mountain Motorsports service dept SUCKS as far I'm concerne, the kids in the service department might be good at assembling the new stuff that comes in but they cant diagnose a baby carriage. Over priced, kinda snooty! Took a rim an tire in nothing wrong with the tube an tube protector however absolutely had to be charged for a new tube and tube protector. Only problem was the tire, didn't buy a tire from them and got drug around for 12 hrs. Worse part was I asked for my old tube back and was told it was no good. I went there today for a couple SIMPLE items. First, their layout, while spacious and nice if you are looking for a new motorcycle, dirtbike or ATV, sucks for parts. Instead of a parts "counter" like you expect at most dealers, it was a little kiosk in the middle of the store with a kid that did not inspire confidence in getting the right part. I was after a tube for my Triumph Bonneville (they don't carry Triumph, but it's a common size, and not a brand specific part), which he took a while to find. Price was OK. Next thing was spark plugs for my 1982 Honda CX500 Turbo. While this is a rare model, they are a Honda dealer, and looked it up in the computer. Takes a common plug shared with a lot of other Honda streetbikes currently built and sold. Problem was, instead of DPR8-EV, he gave me DPR7-EA.. The EV vs EA is just the center electrode style, which would maybe cost me a couple horsepower. No big deal. The 7 vs 8 IS a big deal. It's a hotter plug. He sold me the cold weather plug even though it's 105 out. Did not mention it's the cold weather plug. If I had put it in the motor without checking it against my service manual that is at home, I could have cooked the engine. These bikes were rare when new, and Honda is not carrying much in the way of parts for them anymore. Plus, that would have been a $1500-2500 repair, IF the Turbocharger didn't get affected by cooking the pistons from detonation. I'll go here if I need a part in a pinch, but I'm not trusting them, and going to do the bulk of my motorcycle parts shopping online. Oh, when I asked where parts was, a salesman tried to talk me into a new bike. I just wanted to know where parts was, because they don't have the most intuitive or common shop layout. read more

False and deceptive advertising. Buyer beware. Despite their ads not including any mentions of "freight" and "assembly" fees. They will advertise the price and claim that is MSRP but then "their price is obviously different". In my case $700 more on a $1599.00 item. Obviously a case of deceptive advertising. I reported them to the states consumer protection agency. What a waste of humans working there. read more

Disappointed in the shop. Service dept very unprofessional and not helpful. Still had to pay for a service that wasn't done properly, bike still leaked oil but worse then what was brought in. Bought a bike from them and service dept was rude and unprofessional when I was trying to explain the issue I was having and again when I brought my bike to have it looked at. Charged me for looking at the bike even though they didn't even check it out. Bike was clean when I took it to them and returned to me filthy. I wouldn't recommend this shop for anything. read more

We bought a new Honda Side by Side. The sales people were very friendly and helpful. They start the credit process which should have take 15 minutes max as ours is perfect. 30 min. later, 1 hour later I ask what the hell is going on. The managers reply was "oh once in a while they get tied up, but it should be soon." 2 hours later our salesman asked what was going on and I have never seen a manager treat an employee so badly in my life. Screaming at him, tell him to do his job and stay the hell out of his, and as loud as he could yell in the middle of the store for all to hear! That little scene enreaged me, so I walked up and told him to check on our application and I wanted an answer in 5 minutes or we were walking out. He checked. He had put one of our SS numbers in wrong. No apologies, embarrassment for this a_ _hole, just said it won't be long now. It came through about 10 minutes later. We then go to the financial officers office to do paperwork and told him what had happened. He was furious as that was not the managers job, it was his, and we would have had our credit run through in 10-15 minutes if he had handled. So by the time we decided on what accessories we wanted, whether we wanted their service package, filled out all the papers, etc. it had been four hours since we told them we were buying the side by side. My husband had been there an hour earlier than me looking at them, so his total time was 5 hours. Then he had to wait another hour while they put on all the accessories. Six hours in to buy this side by side by people with superb credit. The service, sales, and financial people were great. The manager was a disgrace to the human race. Horrible service, they are much more concerned with selling you their over priced items than helping you out. I had to order a part three times before they finally ordered the part that fit my bike. I also came in asking for a pair of Pro-Taper handlebars with the Kevin Windham bend, they had no idea what i was talking about and could not order my part. They also "forget" to call you after your part does come in, leaving you the job of tracking them down once the part has come in. highly disappointed with this store. read more

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I took my bike in after an accident to be repaired. It took them two weeks to repair the minor damage and on top of that they installed the wrong fender. When I called to inform them of their mistake the employee at the service counter was beyond rude. After I took my bike to their location they told me it would take a week to replace a fender. They tried to tell me that the fender was "deformed". I managed to get them to order the correct part and installed it myself. The staff here is rude, unprofessional and overall have terrible customer service. read more

I called them about getting 4 new tires that I bought online mounted on to my stock Yamaha Grizzly wheels and they said 25 bucks per wheel. I had my mother drop the wheels and new tires off for me during the day while I was at work and after they finished mounting them they tried to charge her 50 bucks per wheel for the mounting. When she mentioned that I was told 25 bucks per wheel over the phone, they said they would try and work something out. Instead, they just charged for TWO HOURS of labor at the shop rate. The grand total ended up being $176.40 which works out to $44 per wheel JUST to mount a tire!!!!! Whether their goal was to take advantage of my 60 year old mother or they are just crooks, that's just highway robbery! read more

I am so disgusted in the Customer service that Casper Mountain Motor sports has. I was in there in August and spent over $1500 in quad parts and riding gear, then went back to buy my kids a 4 wheeler a few days ago because we had a great experience with them the first time. Well you could not pay me enough money to step foot in that store again. I cant believe the gull some people have. We do not have the best credit ever but not the worst. We are working on rebuilding our credit now because of medical bills from our daughter and I was up front and honest when we applied for the new 4 wheeler and the girl who we were working with was completely rude and snooty about everything, argued with us over everything and did the bare minimum to help us with anything, some of the things she had said are unbelievably rude and totally uncalled for. Then we never heard back from her. I have the cash in my savings to go buy the 4 wheeler out right, but i wanted to finance to help our credit. Well I called the sales manager to find out what was going on and he was just as rude and the girl was. Why do you work in customer service if you suck at it??? Now, I will go out of town to buy my kids the same 4 wheeler because Casper mountain don't know how to treat customers. I have never in my whole life been treated that way while trying to buy something. And if I would have been treated better I would have just bought it cash out. Thanks Casper Mountain Motorsports for making so I have to go out of town to spend money, and trust me when I say I will NEVER be back in your store again. read more
